Our little guy, Tornado, has gone here for daycare for years and has stayed overnight for a few weeks when we traveled. I don't think there are better hands we can leave him in. They are all so great with him, that even when we are gone for a long time he doesn't seem to be phased because he's having so much fun. The team is incredibly great with the pups and they post pictures and report cards often so you know how much fun your pet is having and aren't worried about them.It is also beyond convenient that they offer grooming services and have my pups favorite food in stock in their store so it is a one stop shop.I really appreciate all the great, friendly, and considerate staff here and I know Tornado does too since every time we say "daycare" his tail wags uncontrollably and he runs to the door.Thanks for all you do!

I LOVE Central Bark! So does my puppers Sumo! He gets so excited when I ask if he wants to go to daycare. He runs towards the door and barks at me if I'm not moving fast enough! They take great care of all of the dogs, and they are so kind and fun! Sumo just loves all the staff and all his friends he has made! <3 I mean... just look at that smile!

Sirius Black and his doodle cousins love this place. He barks excitedly when we start to get close, he wags his tail when we get inside, and most importantly, he comes home exhausted! We saw one of his handlers at the dog park one day and he was SO excited to say hi to her. He loves all of his handlers so much, we’re lucky to have them! Thanks everyone!

I have a small 15 lb dog and Central Bark was not a good fit. There aren’t many small dogs to play with, and he would always come home smelling like urine. The only solution for the smell was free baths, which isn’t very healthy for our pup to do every week. He also would also always come home with diarrhea, even after we had asked them to stop giving him treats. He was there for 3 months in hopes that things would get better, but it didn’t. Then they raised their rates and stopped offering a flexible schedule so we had to leave. My puppy always had fun at Central Bark, but it wasn’t good for his health. I wouldn’t recommending sending your dog here for those reasons.

These are the BEST dog people out there. They gave my dog Matilda the most love - she’s lost a leg to cancer and had gone there for 7 years. She continue to go to daycare after her amputation not to play but because she got so much love from the staff. My new dog is getting just as much love and attention. They go above and beyond. TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!

I cannot say enough good things about Central Bark Madison Southwest! If you are looking for a high quality, safe, loving, stimulating, friendly environment for your pup 🐶 — look no further! My sweet Kalani has been attending since she was 4 months old and it is her favorite place in the world! She adores her teachers and I can feel relaxed knowing she is loved by this amazing staff! They are experts in dog knowledge and assisted me when I had a dramatic life change and Kalani became depressed. They knew exactly what she needed and provided it! They offer special activities, holiday pictures, FB and insta posts, daycare as well as overnight boarding, weekend play dates, impeccable grooming services, and a darling shop where you can purchase all the latest doggo toys, gadgets, treats, food, and more! The staff is always friendly and you can tell they love their jobs! They know each dog by name and as soon as we pull into the parking lot my Kalani jumps up in the car and starts her excited “school” dance! This place is a lifesaver and this staff is absolutely incredible!! 6 out of 5 stars every day of the week! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I’m not finding the option to add a photo of Kalani, or I would! She is so happy at Central Bark - it’s a game changer!

Staff is really great! I have used other local doggy daycares, and Central Bark is way above the rest. My pup LOVES it there, and they have so many caring staff.They also offer all of the services I want, including grooming. It’s great to be able to go for a one stop shop.

I take my dog here 5 days per week, and couldn’t be happier with it. The people working there care so much about the dogs. They keep my pup happy all week while I’m working. Highly recommend.

Our pup genuinely loves coming here. She gets so excited we can't hold her back. The staff here is friendly and professional and truly cares about our pup both during day care and during boarding! They even do some light training and we're seeing the benefits of their attention and care in her behavior!

I have a four-year-old Great Pyrenees named Gracie. Over the years I have taken her several places for grooming. A couple of weeks ago I got an email from Central Bark seeing that they had a new groomer named Nicole who specialized in double coated dogs. I immediately booked a grooming with her. Gracie‘s grooming was yesterday and when I picked her up she was happy and didn’t seem stressed at all. I was astounded at the job Nicole did. It is the best grooming we’ve ever had! This is no small thing considering her coat was not in great shape (long story). I was so pleased that I immediately booked recurring grooming’s for Gracie with Nicole going forward. Thank you Nicole and Central Bark!

My dogs love it here! They are 9 and 4 year old rescues who had never been to daycare until 6 months ago. My 9 year old did not always get along with other dogs, and my 4 year old did not like strangers. Since they’ve been going, my boy is sooo much better with other dogs, and my girl loves the staff so much!! Even the ones she is meeting for the first time. I thought for sure my 9 year old would hate daycare, but in the mornings when I tell him we’re going, he cannot wait to go. My 4 year old always runs right in and doesn’t look back! Very happy with central bark.

i have never had a dog that required grooming so i have no idea what to ask for. they didn’t try & upsell me but were really helpful about the options & just gave olive a nice trim. she looks, feels & smells beautiful! elizabeth did such a great job w/ olive even though she was kind of scared of the blow dryer. i will definitely bring her back here again.

Central Bark is a wonderful doggy day care. Our dog loves to go there. They have flexible pick up and drop off times. They provide our dog with some training, & lots of exercise. Rates are comparable with other dog daycares in the area.

First time experience:Asked that my dog be left natural and to not be trimmed in any way. I picked her up and the groomer had not followed instructions and had trimmed her. I was contacted to resolve the issue and had me feeling better about what happened. While a refund was offered and accepted, the refund was ever given/received. Definitely a lack of trust at this location.

Elizabeth did a great job grooming my drama queen of a dog, Ollie. He absolutely hates having his nails done and will screech like he's being murdered, but she put up with his antics and gave him a sweet cut to boot. He looks clean, well-groomed, and ready for spring!

This is our first dog , we rescued a 1yr+ fox hound mix and have no experience with dogs or doggie daycares for that matter. However I do have experience with a human daycare and with customer service and people overall and the folks that work here are amazing! Always top notch service and responses, I feel like they love my dog and he is always so happy to go here. In fact he loves it so much it has helped him get over his fear of getting in the car as he now knows there is a chance he's headed to school! On a personal level they are always happy to discuss dog things with me as I feel so naïve and their advice has been priceless! The facility is always clean and they tire out these pups and allow for socialization in a safe environment. Pic attached of a happy, sleepy pup! I highly recommend their services and they are about the same price as all the other day cares we researched. Thanks for all you do, our Atlas loves you & we do too xoxo!

Central Bark is the BEST daycare facility in Madison. My guy always has the best time there, and comes home appropriately (but not over!) tired. CB has a fantastic approach to training and management, and I feel like my dog will get exactly what he needs while he's there: play, rest, AND enrichment.We have used daycare, sleepovers, and grooming, and cannot say enough good things about all of them. Reasonable prices, caring and well-supported staff, GREAT Instagram...I'm not exaggerating when I say CB changed my life! I'm a single dog parent, and having a place like this is genuinely amazing. I'm so grateful for them! Take your dogs here!

Our dog loves staying here, gets so excited every time I drop her off. Another plus is they always have good availability for overnight boarding, even on short notice. It is our "go to" first choice for dog boarding and occasional doggie day care. Staff is very friendly, to both customers and their pets.

Central Bark Madison is an amazing doggy daycare! The staff truly care about the dogs and make our pups feel so comfortable at daycare. We have one dog who was shy at first and has not enjoyed previous daycare experiences. The staff at Central Bark were so kind to her and helped her find the right play group. She now loves coming and pulls toward the door. They send pictures and updates throughout the day or overnight boarding stay as well! 5/5 stars for sure!

My Great Pyre just had his first day there today, and it was fantastic! Between his indoc and his first day, I'm really impressed at the professionalism, the knowledge base, and great energy of the staff there. Huge shout out to Jaclyn who gave me a lot of her time answering my questions as a new fur dad. Also a shoutout to the team that took care of him today; he's all smiles, and definitely tuckered out.

REVIEW UPDATE•From 2 stars to 5– I’m changing my review! After communication lines were opened up (MY issue) I gave another chance to CBDDC for grooming. Nice!! Also got to witness the day care doggies arriving and they looked so happy. I said something about this out loud and a ‘mom’ said ‘of course they’re happy. This place is the best!’ And I just might be inclined to believe it!

Can't say enough good things about Central Bark. I rescued a pup in May and the shelter didn't know how she was with other dogs, they couldn't test because they were empty. I struggled to figure out how I would socialize her. I had no idea how. Then it dawned on me to put her in doggy daycare! They evaluated her and took things slow. I was so nervous I was queazy. Mid way though the day I received a report that included a picture of my dog. She had the biggest smile on her face I had every seen! Turns out, she did great at daycare. Not only does going keep her social skills up, but she is tired when she comes home. I also find the prices to be super reasonable for all they offer. It's also so convenient that she can get her nails trimmed or her butt gland expressed while she's there. What a great way to multitask our time! The staff is so great and explains all my silly dog mom questions. We love them and are clients fur life.

We just adopted our dog Hero a few months ago and we've taken him here a few times for the stay and plays and for the grooming services. So far we absolutely love it. The staff are great and really take the time to get to know the dogs and listen to the owner's requests. Being a rescue, Hero has a lot of anxiety and the first couple of times we came here he was afraid of even walking into the building. The third time he remembered where we were and almost ran in, which we take as a great sign! Definitely will continue coming back for their dog day care services

We started bring our first puppy to Central Bark to socialize and give us a break while he played with friends. Our little Brucey LOVES going to Central Bark. He has friends he lives to see, and get the best grooms at the end of his play days. He normally hates getting baths but Bruce runs inside Central Bark to get his spa day 🐾🐶🛁💈Every time we take him, they send us updates on how his day is going, and several adorable pictures of his day- pictures by Central Bark staff attached! I really can’t recommend them enough. The staff know and love him too!

My 7 year old cocker spaniel stayed here for a week. This was his first time being boarded. I was nervous, but the Central Bark team answered all of my questions and they were incredibly responsive. I received several pictures and updates on how my dog was doing. He came home as if nothing changed. He was clearly well taken care of and got plenty of love and attention. I highly recommend Central Bark for boarding.
