Both my dog, Stella, and I love bad dog frida! They have everything you’ll ever need for your pup and more, and all are healthy/natural items!Additionally, every single time I come in, the staff are super friendly and eager to help me find exactly what I need! They are also super knowledgeable and will take the time to listen to your question/issue and make a thoughtful recommendation!Ft. Stella also gets lots of love and treats every time she comes in - she gets so excited in the car on the way there she starts crying and barking!!!P.S. as someone who cannot parallel park, their parking situation is divine, as well, for others concerned! My dog Hazel loves Bad Dog Frida and all their treats and employees more than anything! Everyone who works there is beyond nice! They have the best food selection! Hazel starts to wiggle her tail a few block from them. She gets so excited when she realizes we are going there. She is heartbroken when we walk by them when they are closed and wants to wait by the door until they open. To sum it up, it’s our family’s favorite business!

Thank to the person working closing shift. You were so helpful when I was crying right at close. A dude had just catcalled me and we only went that way because Kirby wanted a treat. Stellar service always beyond that but it just goes to show the kind heart behind the staff at Bad Dog Frida.Unrelated Kirby and I also love all your products. I was stuck without transportation, an empty can of food, and three hungry cats. Bad dog frida came in and saved the day with their free, same-day delivery! I ordered the food in the morning and had it by 1:00pm! Please resist corporate companies, like chewy and amazon and shop local (It is faster)! One downside is they have fewer cat supplies (reasonably so), so I had to order my cats' old food brand. Thank you bad dog frida!UPDATE: My mom and I went in to the store today, and we had a very positive experience. We were welcomed into the store and offered very friendly and helpful advice. The selection is thoroughly thought of. There is not a bad product! Thank you!

This is place is so cute. They have a great selection of everything. The food they carry is really great and exactly what I needed. They have a large selection of harnesses and leashes. The staff is very friendly . I’m excited I found my new Madison pet store.

Awesome pet store! My pup likes to visits for treats and pets from the welcoming staff, birthday/gotcha cakes, and extra fun and unique toys. Initial visit was for a cake and a new harness. Always keeps a large well stocked collection of pet needs. Voted best place in Madison by Lola.

Love Bad Dog Frida. The people that work there are always super friendly, helpful, and clearly love dogs. It's a small retail space but they do well with economizing space to offer wide variety of products without feeling like you're shopping in a closet. Selection includes high quality products for all dog needs. Just adopted a dog from local animal rescue? Bad Dog Frida has a generous welcome bag of freebies for you! Last summer, BDF invited customers to share a photo of their dog that they then made into buttons for customer appreciation. The folks that work at Bad Dog Frida have familiarity with the products they sell and always willing to help make decisions. BDF is like the quintessential local business that everyone wants to support. Dog stuff is costly and necessary, so why not get it here and stimulate your local economy. I feel far less salty about dog costs at Bad Dog Frida than at the big box places. One other plus: they carry frozen Primal beef marrow bones that are the perfect size and don't wreck your foot if your dog drops it on your foot.

Friendly service. Prices are sometimes better than Amazon, other times a little more expensive. The benefit is having a bag that is intact with no tears, no moisture, and you are able to ask questions about certain products. Plus, I know I'll sound like a hippie, but it's great to support local businesses.

Bad Dog Frida is a fantastic local pet store! They have a great selection with a focus on high quality goods, so you can trust anything you buy there. They carry lots of items that you can’t find anywhere else in town, including a wide variety of healthy single-ingredient treats for cats and dogs, holistic supplements, and unique handmade items. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable on their inventory and have given me great advice on cat treats and supplements. Their generous giveaways, fun events, and weekly free samples have been a wonderful way to discover new products over the ~6 months I’ve been a customer, including many of my cat’s current favorites. Bad Dog Frida is undoubtedly my cat’s #1 favorite place in town thanks to the treats and attention he always gets from the staff when I bring him in.

I am pretty much obsessed with this place. I attended a meet and greet event there with two of my fosters last month. They were super welcoming. They provided treats for the dogs, and coffee for the humans. One of my fosters was adopted at the event. The employees were wonderful, and it was no surprise both fosters took to them immediately and followed them all over. The way they manage to interact with all guests whether human or canine while still getting things done is awesome. I was also looking for some new treats for my crew, and the gentleman helping me was great. They have a wonderful selection- and its all items you can feel good about giving your pets. The networking and donations they contribute to rescues never cease to amaze me :)

I brought my new puppy in today and everyone greeted us so warmly the minute we walked in. They gave her so much love!! They brought out some puzzle toys for her to try and test out with treats in it. Everyone was so helpful in getting my Underdog package together and show me some stimulating toys for her. Visited for the first time while in town on a trip - what a delight! My dog was SO excited and the employees were just as happy to meet her and give her some treats. The selection here is incredible! A beloved pet store for a reason. The staff are so above and beyond helpful. One time I called in about an order and then thought I'd like to buy some bulk treats and the worker patiently repeated and talked with me through all the flavors. Another time my car died on the way to pick up an order and so they dropped it off for me. All of the employees are also super knowledgeable and kind, I never hesitate to ask questions about products.

The staff is incredibly helpful, with great knowledge of the products they have in stock. They are also willing and able to special order things that they don't have readily available. My cat's favorite toys have all come from this store, and they thoroughly stocked up a friend who had just adopted a dog. Highly recommended for people who love their pets.
