This campground is not Premier Resort. Very poor cell service and they say they have wifi buy that was a joke. If you want a decent connection you had to go to their bar & grill. The pool is nice. We were in a pull through with trees on both sides so we were on our toes. Gettin out was a bit tricky but we made it without a scratch. We decided to leave a day early and when we went to dump the sewer was blocked in and the had to snake it and of course the first snake was to small and they had to get a bigger one. That set us back a couple hours.

First we arrived on Monday and the office is closed. It took us one hour to find someone to check in. He escorted us to our camp site. Which was nice. Second the store is also not open on Monday. The Walmart is 8 miles away, but staff was rude and shelves empty. Third the site they gave us is in the section with the permanent stationary campers, not close to the lake. Fourth rentals are very expensive, but we'll maintained. Fifth staff patrol the property frequently, but they drive too fast with kids around. One staff was on his phone and swerved at our dogs and almost hit our truck. Fifth nice bathrooms and individual showers, but it cost .25 cents per minute to take shower, which is inappropriate for as much as we paid for spot. Sixth, the pool and game is nice, but the pool is missing most of the balls and needs refelt. Seventh the riverboat is in disrepair, stationary, and a safety issue. We had our kids come with us and had to pay extra for them to have tent on out camp site. I would not recommend this camp site, because there are other parks and sites alone the route that appeared very nice.

Not premiere. Workers are hardly present. More like a permanent residence for campers. We lost water one night and had to notify owners. The next night we lost electric with no notice. No rules, no speed limit. Will not be back.

A so,so resort. Sites not cleaned, no cap on septic. Signs overgrown with brush. Speeding rampant, 5 mph is a joke, even by employees. Dogs run loose, even those who work there. US flag should be centered and highest even when surrounded by service flags. This place needs attention to details.Safety: Carts and vehicles constantly speeding around, even after dark.

Its an okay place to spend time in with friends and Family. I personally would do a lot more with this place and the territory. But thats just me. The shower has no knob to control temperature either. Sometimes you get extra cold sometimes extra hot water. It is 2023 after alland a lot of America still feels Rural. And the shower heads are impossible to aim anywhere so forget rinsing off soap from walls correctly or anyone else for that matter. I cleaned up 10 contractor bags worth of old leaves from my camping zone while waiting for friends to arrive. We do return here every year but at this point id be willing to try something new myself.

The campground is just ok. Nothing special but not terrible. The sites were definitely not ready for us as we had to rake piles out of our way of the camper. Someone eventually came and helped. Pretty sad. The staff had NO idea what they were doing. Nothing was consistent. Our reservation was all wrong. No one seemed to know what they were doing. Another trip into the office another time and there was a new guy working (2nd day) alone and had no idea how much things were. It was very unprofessional. I would not come again.

We booked four full hook-up campsites next to each other in February 2023. Upon arrival we find out that they moved two of us much further away from the original confirmed site with only electric and water. Upon going to those two sites we were shocked that they could even be called campsites. We were butted up to numerous other seasonal campers with their slide outs open OVER OUR CAMPFIRE RING. The sites had huge tire ruts down the middle of the skinny sites and had apples all over. Bees galore! After looking around it seems the seasonal campers had an apple tree on their site and threw the apples over to this site. What you see in the pictures are TWO sites, not one. Went back to the office again and said no way, these sites are NOT acceptable. So once again they moved us to another site even further away from the original booking. Totally messed up our weekend as one of our campers who's booking had not changed was handicapped and we could not easily hang out together because of the distance between sites. Literally had to cross a road and head down to the river to get to the relocated sites. Campground owner's explanation for changing our original booking was that our campers were smaller than the others so they took the liberty of moving us without our knowledge so they could accommodate larger campers. Lesson learned as now we will lie about our camper size to avoid this issue again. Won't ever be back to this campground!

Worst campground ever. The permanent sites had the loudest and most rude people ever. People where shouting, swearing and being drunken loud until 3am. Their dogs were barking constantly. The store smelled musty. The game room had only 5 games. The playgrounds were not safe for kids as there were broken boards on the equipment. We will never be coming back to this campground again nor would I ever recommend it to anyone!

We are staying for a week from Saturday to Saturday. It was definitely busy over the weekend with all the seasonal families here but the noise level was completely acceptable and even with our camper being 6 spots away from the bar and grill we couldn’t hear any bar noise. During the week it was very peaceful and quiet. Our camping spots were shady and near the pool and park for our kids. The pool was a nice size and well maintained. We were able to schedule our tanks to be dumped mid week (very affordable). The roads around us were gravel so we didn’t bring bikes but some kids did have bikes. We showered in our camper but there are showers that cost a quarter for several minutes.

Worst experience ever....and we never even made it to the campground. Reserved earlier in the summer and due to work schedules changing recently, we will not have the time to get there, get setup, and enjoy before we would have to pack-up and head back out. We tried to call and cancel our reservation - apparently there is a 30 day cancellation rule and we will NOT be receiving any of our money back! Upon calling the campground, I got an answering machine, left a message and minutes later received a call back from a different number. Spoke with a very rude woman who basically told me that we would not be getting our money and that we should just come for the weekend anyway. She would not budge at all even taking into consideration that this coming weekend is there last weekend open for the season. I also tried to ask for my site number and a site map so I could see where we would be. I was told that the site numbers are not given out until check-in and that there was no site map available. Called back the next day to try to confirm the cancellation and was told to text to the number I originally called to complete my cancellation. How do you run a business in this manner? Very unprofessional and I would never recommend to anyone!

Loved it! Rented several cabins as a group coming in for a weekend baseball tournament. Cabins were nice and clean. Pool are is very clean, lots of room and clean pool. It was a fun weekend. Only thing i would suggest to them is to maybe send out a reminder before check in that CASH is required at check in. It was on the confirmation email, but we all didn't see it or forgot about it. Would definitely stay again.

Great people to deal with. The cabins were more than we expected(2 cabins,, 3 adults,, 6 kids). The owner loaded us in a golf cart and took us around to see the layout,, important to me as I brought a boat and rented a slip. I have absolutely no complaints and really appreciated the above average service. Defiantly on our list for next year. Nice to be dealing with owners that really care about your vacation .

Very nice campground.Owners were very accommodating and the bar location on sight is ideal. It is a campground so the happy campers are up late, and music plays.Location on Upper Wisconsin River is beautiful. We enjoyed the fireworks.

First time staying here. Checking in was very easy, we had 2 site reserved and are other son and family wanted to come. During checking in they wanted the full price to put another tent on the site. That didn't bother me as much as what happened the rest of the weekend. Our sites were by the bar and they played loud music until the bar closed. There is no quite hours at this campground. Except during the morning because they are recovering from the night before. Then the people that walk and drive golf carts right through your campsite no respect for other people. Then the dump station had a broken flush tank. This campground only caters to the seasonal campers ands have no rules for golf carts. It was like the Indy 500 with golf carts. Racing up and down the main road going to and leaving the bar. Worst campground I have stayed at.

It’s really over priced for everything you get. Cabins are nice but first you have to bring your own sheets, you have to clean the cabin before you leave. Really hard when the entire front of the cabin is sand, provide your own garbage bags, the bar/restaurant you somehow have to move all the people at the bar to order your food and drinks. No wait staff. The screened in cabin says 3 beds but one of the futons is on the porch with no air and you can see to the ground through the floor boards which can’t be ok for the futon and mold. Other bed is in the living room. They will charge you $125 if there is any pet hair or a little bit of garbage in the cabin which is ridiculous. Oh and the mosquitoes are ridiculous. They should have the campground professionally sprayed. I think this is our last time coming up to river bay and we’ve been coming for ten years now. To expensive for what you get.

We love coming to River Bay Resort. We have kids and the amenities are amazing for them. The location is right on the river and we rent a boat slip for our boat to make the weekend even more exciting. Also the bar/restaurant is nice for both kids and adults. Overall one of our favorites!

If you are looking for strict quiet time enforcement, this isn't your place. But everything is clean, and the people are VERY nice even when it is chaotic on Labor day weekend. This is my kind of place. Friendly people and a good value.Edit. Went back again... Holy Christmas.. the noise level amped up a ton. Now utv's are running thu the campground and golf carts have subwoofers mounted on the back.People are still very nice... asking to be away from the bar would be a good first step for noise sensitive people... remember.. the road splitting the place is a country rd, and the bar aims to rock till 2. ... still a good review... because I should have known there would be no sleep. If midnight is quiet time... there is no quiet time...

Quite possibly the worst experience ever. First we made reservations and were told the rate was $47 per night. Sounds normal. Once we got there and we told them we had 3 kids, we were then told the rate was $77 per night even though we were all staying in the same camper. Then we got to listen to golf carts racing each other all night until about 1 am. The next day we tried renting a boat. We had a reservation from 1:30-5:30 for 4 hours. At about 11:45, the owner of the campground came to our site and asked if we would like to take an earlier slot right away. We said yes. We then find out they don't actually rent the boats. They have a nearby campground do it. So the other campground picks us up in the boat. We then find out that we could only have the boat for 2 hours instead of the contracted 4 hours. When I got back, I went back into the office and asked for half of my money back seeing I got half the time. Of course nobody could help me and they told me the owner would call me. She never called. We then got to listen to extremely loud karaoke music until 2:00 am. This campground could care less about the campers. It was pretty obvious the reputation it has seeing hardly anybody was there camping. It is all about the seasonal local people who drink way too much. The bar business is all they care about. If you want to watch locals get hammered, sing really bad/loud and race golf carts into the night, this place is for you. If you want to take your family camping, go to Holiday Shores across the river. I have now tried calling back to talk to the owner about the refund they owe me. The woman on the phone was very rude and told me they are gone for the day. Like I said, the owners could care less about you unless you are spending money in their bar. I will be disputing the charge on my credit card in the morning.

They double booked our site that we booked 6 months ago for this weekend. They gave us a tiny mud hole close to our group. That was maybe 15ft wide with roads on both sides. We were told this happens and we had to deal with it. Refused any discount. Staff at the bar was all really rude. Paid $1 each for ice cold showers with 0 hot water. Loud fireworks at 11pm scaring all our dogs. After camping here every year our group will not be back ever again. I would recommend going elsewhere. If i could post pictures i would post the "site" they gave us.

I love camping here. I first stayed here as a weekend camper. Traded up to a seasonal, and have been here for 5 years. Great place, good food, fun times at the bar, easy access to the river, and friendly owners.*update*We are starting our 11th season, wouldn't / couldn't imagine seasonal camping anywhere else! We have so many great memories and friends here. So much to do in the Wisconsin Dells area.

We booked a 4 night stay for 2 adults and 2 children and had a boat slip. We enjoyed the convenience of leaving our boat in the water throughout our stay, but that is the only positive..... This is a party campground, quiet hours are never enforced! We spoke with office staff several times and received only excuses. Bathrooms and pool water were dirty throughout our stay, garbage was waste deep on the ground outside of the overflowing dumpster, pay showers were cold. They have an outdoor onsite bar that stays open until 2am, however they told us our first night that it would be closed and quiet at 11pm. We ended up packing up and going home early. I emailed the campground owner, Rhonda, when we got home however she isn't responding to my email. I do not recommend this campground to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!!

Our family started coming here 10 years ago. We rent the cabins and spend one weekend a year here. We have 14 people including 4 children. 3 are under 4 years old and one dog. There is something to do for all ages. It is a very friendly place to vacation. We will continue to have great times at River Bay in the future.

We camped. We had to take out our own garbage; other people let their kids drive around on the rented golf carts (and a couple almost ran into each other) and my nephews were targeted by staff while they were driving and almost had golf cart problems rescinded; noticed in bathrooms that you had to pay to take showers there - glad we had our own. For the price we paid to stay there it wasn't our cup of tea.....we'll stay elsewhere next year.

The pool is nice, but this is not the most family oriented place. It's much more for the drinking crowd, primarily the older folks. The bar is decent but a big focus for them. They have made some positive strides, but some improvements could still be used to the public restrooms, etc.

Good size campsites with flat grassy areas and nice shade. The people were friendly and the campground was quiet. The pool was the perfect temperature with plenty of chairs and lounges to kick back relax in the sun. Some tables had umbrellas as well. We tent camped midweek and had a great time.

All I can say is don’t stay at River Bay. It is noisy, sites not kept up, and constant traffic driving fast through campsites. Had a hard time sitting outside due to constant traffic from septic trucks passing by and the smell was horrible! This is more like a permanent trailer park for rv’s not a campground.

Cabin condo is perfect for a family get together. Has just about everything you need except linens. Sleeps 10 pretty comfortably and lots of space. Two bathrooms. Cabin two lacks parking space and the fire ring is in-between two cabins, not the safest place but also not alot of room for people to sit around the fire.
