Bought a nice used pistol from here, but they have great prices in general and a giant selection of firearms, new, used, I saw a few antiques, I would definitely buy from here again.

This is a large store with a fairly decent selection. Prices were okay, some high, some okay. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly, I think just about everyone in the store asked me if I needed help. I don't like going into a store where the staff isn't helpful and these guys were very helpful. Price is my main reason for the three star review as well as not as good of a handgun selection as I would like.

Don't buy anything from this place that it has an open box. About a Romeo 5 Red Dot 3 months ago waiting for a new gun to come in open up the box that was already been opened the scope was used. Front threads on it were stripped out somebody put the old small plate back on it the big plate had scratches on it so I knew right then and there I shouldn't have bought it cuz I knew the damn thing was used. But shame on that place one of those old guys that worked there no for a fact that it was put back on the shelf used I wouldn't trust that place or buy anything from them to save my life unfortunately I threw out the sales slip two months after I bought it shame on me. Shame on them.

Staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with an indecisive shopper like me. Got to try out many different scopes and items, with the employee even taking me outside to use scopes under natural light. Fantastic experience with friendly, experienced folks.

Great selection on guns and ammo. Actually has a pretty good archery section too. Best of all had a lot of lures that are always sold out durning the busy time of year and we can stock up here

Bought my first pistol here. Experienced staff helped me with the sale. Afterwards rented a lane and popped shots. Been coming here for years.Right off the highway 41 it's a great place to practice your handgun.

Horrible experience buying a new rifle. Went in Mon Aug 21. They didn't have the rifle I wanted in stock, so they said they would order it. He said it looked like it would be in next Mon. Monday came and went and didn't hear from them. No big deal. I waited till Thurs, and called to see what the status of gun was. The guy just said "well, I'm sure they will call you when it comes in". Apparently it's too much work to look into it.I waited almost 2 weeks and called again because I hadn't heard from them. They basically said the same thing, "maybe it's backordered, they'll call you when it comes in". I insisted they look it up, because it's been like 3 weeks now. Maybe it never got ordered, or they lost my info. He called me back after checking on it, and sure enough, it was never ordered. If I hadn't insisted they check into it, it still wouldn't have been ordered!The guy apologized and said he would order it that night, and it should be in next Tues. He said he'll be sure to call me as soon as it comes in. Well, Tues came and went and never heard from them. Call Thurs evening and explain it to the guy. He looks for it and says "yeah it came in, I don't know why no one called you".Picked it up the next day. The price was $30 more than he originally told me. I explained this whole situation, and expressed how extremely disappointed I was in this whole experience. I said I felt like I should be compensated for my troubles. A free gun case, or box of ammo or something. No dice. He said sorry, we'll try to be better. But he couldn't give me any kind of deal.I said I had planned on buying a scope, gun case and ammo from them. But not anymore, that business is going to someone else.They definitely lost a customer, and I'll never go back there for anything.Heck, since this review is already long, I'll make it even longer. And add another bad experience I had with them before I bought the rifle from them. It should've been a sign to stay away.Back in July I took in an older Remington semi auto I was looking to get rid of. Set it on counter and asked if they do trade ins. He opened case, looked at gun for like 5 seconds. He said not interested, can't even get parts for those anymore, and walked away.I understand if they weren't interested in gun. I get it. When I say I'm looking to trade in, that would imply that I'm in the market to buy a gun. Like, you are a salesman, have a conversation with me, ask me what I'm looking to buy. But he was all smug and walked away.They may have a decent selection of stuff. But they are unorganized and incompetent, and could care less about providing good customer service. Take your business elsewhere!

Excellent shop for all your shooting and fishing needs. Clay target shooters will find good prices on reloading components and bulk shotgun shells along with everything else you need to enjoy your shooting sports. Midwestern also has a varied inventory of new and used guns at very good prices. I haven't tried they pistol shooting range, but they do have one. You will also find knowledge sales people who are there to help you. It's just a great place for outdoors oriented people.

Not sure how more people haven’t realized this, but almost every gun I’ve purchased from there I found cheaper at cabelas in Richfield. The only reason I went there was always due to convenience, but it’s just not worth it to pay 50-100$ more and also be treated like garbage by the staff. In my years of being there Mitch was always helpful but he is no longer there. I can only recall one employee who actually was nice and helpful there within the last year, he was a younger gentleman. Everyone else is rude and offered little to no help. They act like they are doing you a favor when in reality it’s us keeping them in business. Drive the extra 30-40 minutes to go somewhere else. This place sucks. If you like be treated poorly though, go here.

Solid place for firearms, better selection and options than other much larger / other local places. Beyond the counter help, which was good, Best of luck. Need a holster for the item you just bought, find it on your own or order it somewhere else. Almost everything else, find it on your own, which works well in most situations. I was willing to by a whole bunch of accessories with a little help from the folks, if they were willing to know or help, in which I was sort of on my own, in which I only walked out with a couple essentials…

Place looked like it was going out of business - boxes laying everywhere, disorganized layout and not clean. They do not sell bulk ammo even though there's tons of bulk ammo boxes laying in multiple spots around the store. Guys behind counter were not helpful when I asked questions two different times. On top of this, prices are not competitive. I will never set foot in this place again.

Went in to buy ammunition, grabbed 2 boxes of 3 inch steel shot that had a price tag of $19.99. The boxes of shells rang up at $28.50 each. When we brought it to the clerks attention he went and checked to see that the price was marked at $19.99 and it was, they checked all the numbers and everything and they would not honor the price, claimed it was below their cost. I have shopped here a lot over the years because they are local to me, but I have always just kind of put up with their legendary poor service because of convenience. This time I am pretty sure I won’t be going back. Be careful and watch the prices they are charging you, this was an example of bait and switch. I have never had a store obviously mismark a price, double check the price, and then just say too bad.

Have a huge variety of firearms, ammo, and supplies. Seems like some stuff is stuck on Covid prices as I've found cheaper at retail stores in the Appleton area. Staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. I'll always stop by when I'm in the area.

I haven't had the poor experiences other have shared here. I've purchased a couple of guns here, traded one in, great experiences. I even picked up a box of ammo once that was short rounds, came back a couple days later, explained what I found and no questions asked they made me whole. I prefer to not having people walking up to me asking if they can help. I'd rather find someone when I need it. Selection is good, prices fair. No one ever complained about going in the back to check inventory on multiple powders or confirming cannisters were same lot #s. Happy to support local brick and mortar that keeps reloading supply inventory. This place is a regular stop for me.

Took a ride up from Kenosha, WI to take a look at a Browning Citori O/U I was interested in. Was immediately greeted by a seemingly helpful member of the Staff. Took a look at the Citori and mentioned I had two firearms I'd like to sell for credit toward the Gun I was interested in.The staff didn't seem very interested in making any type deal. He took a look at the Shotgun I brought (hardly removing it from the case to take a good look) and disregarded the other Firearm I brought (and I understand why). He called someone else to assist in evaluation but they never showed up.In the end, the staff made a lowball, under the breath offer on the Beretta Shotgun ($700-$800) I brought, at which time I packed up and told him no thanks. It never felt like the staff member was making any effort to evaluate the trade and just didn't want to do the deal from the get-go. Maybe he really didn't know what he was doing or looking at, and it was easier to get rid of me instead of working to make a deal. It really felt like he had no idea what he was looking at, as he had to check the rack for pricing on a SIMILAR Shotgun and evaluate against the book on a Shotgun that was not the same as the one I brought.Whatever the case, I went down to Cabela's Gun Library 26 miles S.E. and did the deal there. They gave me $1700 for the same Shotgun after doing some research and knowing exactly what they were dealing with. Took them about 15min to give me a quote after assembling the Shotgun and actually looking at it.Midwestern is a nice, well stocked Store and most of the Staff seems nice. I was asked if I needed assistance by multiple people while waiting at the counter on a Saturday AM. They have a good selection of Firearms, even in these crazy times. Nice selection of Shotguns. Seems they cater nicely to the Skeet, Trap & Sporting Clays Crowd.I wouldn't go out of my way to visit their Shop again. I didn't feel the individual I was dealing with wanted any part of assisting me in getting what I was looking for. I'll spend my money elsewhere.Your mileage may vary.

WORST customer service EVER! I don't expect much from any retail employee these days, but these guys are the LAZIEST, most ARROGANT bunch of bums I have ever experienced, bar NONE. They ALL act like they are working for free and are doing you a favor to let you in the door. They truly couldn't care less about their customer experience. If I told you about my experience there, you wouldn't even believe me! I truly hope they go under soon as a result of the ammo shortage.
