We are so glad we found care for our skittish mule with Lodi Vets. Dr. John Mason was professional,skilled, and compassionate, and we were able to give Ruthie the care she needed and deserved. If you have an equine that’s a little different from the “normal” animal, you couldn’t find a better vet service. We are grateful for the assistance! I was turned away by a number of other vets - but Dr Mason was perfect - and the clinic staff were very helpful and understanding.

Always super friendly and the care is honest and top notch! When they take my dog, Finn, into the other room to do their thing, I can hear them giving him all the lovings, pets and “good boy’s”. They are just so sweet, gentle and patient. It makes me smile every time hearing them interact with my 85 pound baby! We know we are in great hands!

Dr Dean Myers is the best equine vet. He’s down to earth, soft spoken and listens to his patients’ owners concerns. Overall all the equine vets are very very good. They come to my home in the middle of nowhere and promptly take care of any emergencies or regular care. They also have a great preventative care plan for horse owners to help prepare for the annual costs for your horses or donkeys.

We have had great experiences with Lodi vet. I attribute saving our dog Monty to them who had blasto and they guided us through treatment when another vet basically sent us home thinking there was little to no chance. Lodi vet was there again when Monty was diagnosed with lymphoma, they guided us through working with a specialist we are still able to have him with us.We recently went in to have a small sore looked at, Dr. Ali was absolutely amazing. Her demeanor, knowledge is helping us guide through Monty's twilight years.And no less importance, the staff is always very friendly and helpful.Thank you, Lodi Vet!

We have been using Lodi Vet for years and have always had wonderful care for our horses. Last year we had to say goodbye to our 32 year old mare, and they showed compassion and kindness in her final moments.Dr. Meyer and his staff have always been extremely knowledgeable and we truly appreciate the care they provide for our horses. It was my first experience with Lodi Vet. Doctor John was very good natured and thorough. Slow moving around a sensitive animal. I was able to see how my actions might have an influence on my horse. John was kind hearted and thoughtful when communicating with the customer as well as his wonderful vet tech. Emma, his vet tech was very effective in all areas of testing . She was a trooper during the flex tests and so helpful with foot x rays. All in all it was an enjoyable experience. Thank you

Luna always loves visiting the techs and staff at Lodi vet care— as far as she knows, they all came in just to see her! Every time we bring her in, the staff takes our concerns seriously and we leave with a plan. Luna is healing well from a skin infection and is back to her trouble making self.

My dog had a sedated teeth cleaning and it went great. They updated me once she was out of the procedure and how it all went. I was able to pick her up later that afternoon. The staff was very friendly! Highly recommend taking your pets to Lodi Vet!

My Great Dane had her spay and gastropexy done at Lodi Vet Care. They were amazing with her (and me)! From answering ALL of my questions, not taking her back until she was comfortable with them, calling/texting me with updates, and going over discharge info. When I called with a concern over the weekend, I was able to email photos and speak with a doctor immediately. Monday morning I received a follow up call from the doctor that did her surgery addressing the concerns I had over the weekend and ensuring they had resolved.Everyone from the front desk staff to the doctors made me feel like my “baby” was going to be so well cared for and that keeping me well informed was a priority to them. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care she received and to have such wonderful vet care close to home. Thank you Lodi Vet!

I always appreciate the kindness of the staff. When we call for an appointment, We get in pretty quickly. Dr. Etter is always very willing to answer questions and explain the procedures. We were just in for a pet pig neuter and all went well! Cost was extremely reasonable.

Day hours need to be longer at least until 6.Also we came to Lodi because of their emergency at night and weekends so we didn’t have to travel so far when there is a crisis and not have to wait ample hours to have your canine looked at before they do anything. The vet that took care of us recently was excellent. The business I give three stars the vet I give 4 and a half stars.

Lodi Vet has been great for many different things that have come up with my pet. They are easy to make appointments with, reasonable times to get in. Once there , they are on schedule. They explain things well, from the treatment plan, the billing, the follow up.

We’ve been clients/customers for over 20 years. For about a couple of years now, I’ve been very disappointed. I haven’t been disappointed in the Veterinarians, but the staff. The veterinarians have been awesome but the service truly starts with your front desk. Every time I call I don’t get good customer service. The front desk needs to be more polite and helpful. We recently got a new puppy and I haven’t had a puppy in a while therefore I had a lot of questions. I inquired about puppy classes, recommendations for outside puppy classes, etc. The answer I got was I don’t know. I had to ask to get a follow up. The lady was very short, rude, and not helpful. In the past, I would get the help and follow up I needed. Every time I call it’s I don’t know and the unwillingness to help. I understand everyone is busy and short staffed but customer service is where it starts. If a business doesn’t have good customer service the business loses customers. That’s exactly what happened in our situation. This last time that I called to schedule a follow up appointment for our puppy, the front desk was rude, not helpful and very disrespectful. At that moment I had enough. I’ve given plenty of chances and opportunities for Lodi Vet to change and in the course of two years nothing has changed. Lodi Vet lost a client/customer who has been with them for almost 20 years with a multiple dog household. I hope Lodi Vet can change and have a little more respect when customers/clients call to get service.

Our pups LOVE it at Lodi Vet! We board them and this is their primary vet location. When we board them, they get SO excited when we walk in the door. The boarding manager, Abby, is a gem! She remembers our dogs when we bring them in and is so sweet to them and is always quick to respond to any questions. The whole staff has been really friendly and great to work with for our pets.

I was extremely happy with Lodi Vet the first two years I went there. My dog went through a major surgery and I had total faith in them. Staff and service was great.However, something happened about 2 years ago and everything has gone wrong. Since then I have made appointments only to show up and be told they had no knowledge of it. I have cancelled appointments weeks ahead of time and they called and chewed me out asking why I wasn't there. They never seem to know what my dogs prescriptions are despite filling them for years.The boarding service is the same. I asked (and paid!) for separate kennels (because one dog is intact and the other is dog sharp). At the last moment, on a whim, I asked to see the facilities and found my two two dogs in the same kennel and later found out they had been put in "doggy daycare" despite my requests.The final straw was today when I realized the vet and tech had a mix up, and put the wrong dosage/instructions on my dogs antibiotics. Med errors are not ok. Sorry to say, but I'm done with Lodi Vet.

They do not know how to schedule. U will be in their one day then the next day u get a text to come in and get something else done. When it all could be done in one visit. The guy answering the calls is rude cutting you off while trying to tell him something. Has happened more than once. I'm done going there all they seem to care about is $ not your pet.

The silver lining to my dog needing to have surgery is that we found the Lodi vet. Dr. K.C. Brooks and his team not only did an excellent job on her surgery but have made rehab as easy and pain free as possible. They truly care about the animals they see and check in often to ensure the best outcome. We have needed to stop in unexpectedly as well and they have always made time to see us, even with an already full schedule. I really can’t say enough good things about this organization.

It was amazing. Dr. Brooks is wonderful and takes such good care of our 16+ year old beagle. Our old doggie loves him and we do too! He’s a great vet. The support staff is wonderful too. LVC is a great place for pet care.
