Overall, I like supporting local businesses like Ace. (This specific store has new ownership within the last 3-4 years I believe.) It’s a great place to stop if you need something quick, and you don’t have to travel to the major hardware stores, when you can usually find what you need here. The service is friendly, generally very helpful, and the only drawback to Ace, is you do pay a little bit more for various products, but, like I said, you’re supporting a local business that prides themself in helping you find what you need in a more expedited manner in a smaller, condensed setting, than you would in a larger hardware store.

Place is a joke . Walk in and they ask if they can help you tell them no thanks I got it and they hound you . Nothing is organized here. My son use to work here and the managers and owner literally called him names and belittled him . Something that should never happen to an employee or a child.

Two instances really stick out to me. Just recently I received a gift that was purchased from Ace hardware in little chute, I had to return it because I already had the product purchased for me. I was giving the original receipt to make returns quick and easy. I went to the service desk and said I needed to return the gift. No problem the associate said, he just needed the original credit card and a signature. I exclaimed that this was a gift so I don't have the card used to purchase the item. No problem, just a signature then and the associate said a full refund will be credited to the card. This was a gift purchased for me from someone else..... The other instance was a few winters ago my snowblower drive belt broke while using it. I took it out and drove to the Ace, two of the workers were outside watching it snow. I grabbed the broken belt and before I even got in the store the guys outside said they don't carry that anymore. Could you at least look I asked. Nope, they said, don't have it. Disappointed I went home and shoveled the rest of the snow. The following day, Monday, I stopped at the snowblower/lawnmower fix it shop with broken belt. They gave me the right one and said next time go-to Ace on the weekends they carry all the belts we do. Sure enough they did in fact have it..........

I bought a garden hose sprayer from harbor frieght, and realized it didnt fit my hose. So i went into Ace looking for an attachment that would let me connect the sprayer to my hose. The guy at Ace was just SMARTER than me. The spayer already had an attachment for the hose connected to it, and the Ace employee was able to get the attachment out for me to use. FREE TRIP vs. him trying to sell me something i really didnt need. I appreciate that. Thats why you don't shop at H.F and you go to Ace, the place with the helpful hardware folks.

Have been working with this hardware store for YEARS…. My father had a shop down the road. EVERYTHING we needed was there (and if not they had the next day)Unfortunately visited today and noticed a lady (with her young daughter) asking an employee were a simple product. ( he had shown her 2 different sections where not what she was looking for. As he walked away to get more help…Showed her were the producers she was looking for..Himself and another employee found myself as her figuring it out.Unfortunately this was not the end of my experience. Headed to the cashier and asked for 2 Receipts 1 for myself and 1 for work well that took10 minutes . But again be patient.Kinda………..NO VERY disappointed to have to deal with this after YEARS of customer service. All I can say is evaluate the new people AND teach them to understand how important and experienced the Little Chute ACE Hardware is for many of people….

Usually have what I need. Had 1 unpleasant experience with an employee a couple years ago. Was able to speak with an owner (or manager?) before I left the store. Since then that employee has been very helpful. My husband and I have used the call the store or online order-pick-up-in-store process >1× & were pleased with the service. We appreciate knowing that the item(s) would be ready, saving us a wasted trip from out of town. We appreciate the Ace Rewards program.

I love ace! The workers are always super nice and helpful! Sometimes there are too many workers and your being asked if you need help every 10 seconds, but at least you can always depend on getting help when you go there. I do have one wish, that the store was a little bigger and they carried some lumber. Otherwise it's my go to store and they usually always have what I need.

Exhalant, they always help me find what I want! That's why to shop local. You don't have to go looking all over like the bigger stores. They have just about everything. Even candy 😊! When you go to the bigger stores I usually buy stuff I don't need. Always friendly. So when you shop local, you save money 💰

I usually know what I need, but this visit I didn’t, and we actually were there past close, but the staff were extremely helpful and patient with us. She helped us find exactly what we needed to fix our screen door!

I only shop at this store because it is closer to my new house than Carstens. I miss Hardware Hank for the quality products and low prices. I have stopped by many times only to find that they do not carry what I need.Today I went to purchase tank to bowl bolts for a toilet. I was helped by Tom to find the product. The first package I took off the hook was missing three metal washers and the second package was missing one rubber washer. Luckily the last package had all the parts. I located Tom again and give him the packages with missing parts. He took the packages and hung them back up on the hooks to sell. When I checked out I informed the cashier about the missing parts and that they were placed back on the rack by Tom. I hope the packages are sent back to their supplier and not left for the next customer.

1 review1.0 star rating 9/10/2017Ace hardware in Little Chute had better get their act together! They had an item priced different than what it scanned at the register. It scanned in at $1.00 higher. I had a one day coupon offer on 9/9/2017 for 50% off one item. The coupon would not work if they lowered the price MANUALLY for the $1.00 difference. That meant we would have split the difference to $.50 each. They would NOT do it. So they lost a $17.99 sale. So much for customer service. I will never walk in that place again. So Ace Hardware my question is, "was it worth losing a customer for $.50?" All of this was due to YOUR pricing error!!!!!Add to list Edit

This is what you call a convenience hardwrlare store! They have all the things a normal Home Depot or Menards would have bit at a convenience price. Whicheand you pay extra for everything just cause your there! I purchased reacement garage door sensors and the next day seen the exact same ones at Home Depot for $12 less and not even on sale! I went back and asked if they matched prices and the manager told me "you should of gotten them there than" WOW. $12 must not be much of a loss for patronage. After that I've been looking over my receipts since January and comparing them to other store prices.... Money spent at Lindner Ace. January- October =$748.33 money spent vs competitor+$72.16 that is nearly 10% higher than any other ace! Sad, very sad! It must be their justification to have 8 employees harrassing you or standing around the water cooler. The I'm my 40+years there hasn't been more than 4 customers in the store at one time ever. Maybe I'd suggest to cut down there overhead with employees and adjust the pricing on EVERYTHING. $72.16 extra in only 10months?!? How much more have I unknowimgly overspentin my 20yrs I've been going there?! I will now drive the extra 10 miles to a big chain store. Sorry Lindners you lost me and my family with the pricing and arrogant response.

You can get most of the things you need here form a hardware store. I personally think that it's a little set up weird and sometimes unorganized and hard to find certain things when you are here for fasteners. Staff was always friendly though.

While I appreciate you hiring teens, they are not knowledgeable about most things simply due to their age. I've had a very hard time explaining what I need a few times because of this. Recently, I went looking for "flex seal" . The young man told me it was in isle 1. I looked and looked but there was none. I went to ask again and was told it was on the "kiosk" at the end of isle 3. He then got red in the face and frustrated because I did not see this "kiosk". It was an END CAP.It was a very small end cap that only had Flex TAPE and not Flex SEAL. (The store doesn't have Flex SEAL he said was in isle 1.)

Sent my faughter in for some 1 1/2" pvc couplings, elbows glue and cleaner...had to have 3 people assist them including the shift manager and they literally got ONLY THE PVC GLUE AMD CLEANER RIGHT. Gave them COMPRESSION COUPLINGS and a SANITATION TRAP...Along with a $73.00 charge and a waste of my time tomorrow returning all this. Place has gone downhill ever since ACE opened. Won't be back after tomorrow's returns.

Was sold pvc pipping when I needed something else and was told pvc would work better. When it didn’t work better, they would not take back the pvc. Customer service is shabby at best; the staff is however, polite.

Have went to this hardware store for 15 years or more, back when it was Hardware Hank. Have shipped many large items via UPS thru this store. Yesterday even after much discussion they insisted that the size of the box meant I would have to pay $85. UPS shipping calculator online and the UPS Store in Darboy only charged $45. I will never ship another item thru Lindner Ace Hardware, and possibly never buy anything there again. Very disappointing.
