This little gem is right by our place on Poygan. We tried the haddock And pork chops. Let me just say the Pork chops were the most juicy flavorful you’ll find! The fish was good. I hope they will offer a Parmesan encrusted version like some of the other supper clubs do. Then we’ll have to reason to so anywhere else! Great salad and soup bar.And they even offered potato bar with French fries, mashed potatoes and baked potatoes with all the fixens.

What a fun evening. Finn was very personable and got us all checked in, great sense of humor. Our bartender made very tasty drinks with a bit of flair making it fun. Loved our dinner, steaks were very tasty. We loved the potato bar with so many choices (great idea). The salad bar was also nice, many choices and loved the dispensers for the salad dressing (no slopping with the spoons). Bryce our server was very attentive and was great at anticipating any needs we had. This was my first time here and it is well worth the drive to enjoy a great meal. We will be back.

Stopped in Friday at 5:00, was seated at 5:20. Maggie was outstanding as our waitress. Perch, salad bar and potato bar were all excellent. Maggie stopped by our table several times to ask how we were doing. Definitely will be back. Friendly, excellent food and service! Fresh flowers on tables, restroom goes above & beyond service, clean and pleasant surroundings. Can’t say enough!!! 🤩Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, no issues

We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Cattails and can only say great things. The service was way better than the previous owners. The staff is doing the best they can and very kind with trying to learn new systems as well as implementing reservations last night! The staff did a great job and were very attentive. The food was also amazing and very well cooked and the salad bar was superb! The only thing to make things better is a small dessert menu - but again for just opening recently, all involved are doing great!

First time here for us last night. We had Bryce as our server and he knocked it out of the park. My fiance and I both were impressed with the service, so much so we talked about it on the way home. Our main factor for coming back to any establishment is the service. This was the best service we have had in a while and we eat out multiple times during the week. The steaks were excellent and perfectly cooked. The salad bar had a nice selection as well. Our only recommendation is more seasoning in the sautéed shrimp. Otherwise everything was great.

We arrived at 5; the overall bar atmosphere is exactly what you’d hope for in a supper club! The dining room, however, was incredibly cramped. There was no walking room between tables, and at multiple points, those sitting behind us pushed into us trying to get out of their seats. It was incredibly difficult to converse with and hear my party members. I’ve included a picture (faces blurred for privacy) to show some of the spacing issues.Further, when we went to place our order, several menu dishes were unavailable. This is understandable to an extent, but became tiring trying to select a dish, especially considering the club’s social media presence! When I asked about the cheese blend for the scallops, the waitress was unclear, and did not offer to check in the kitchen. This isn’t major, but the small items began to add up when it came to our dining experience.I ordered the Alaskan Salmon; the protein itself was absolutely fantastic! However, the menu promised sautéed kale and veggies on the side, and instead I got raw kale. When I asked about this, the waitress said kale typically wasn’t sautéed; I totally get just opening, but this is an easy menu correction. Another member ordered the burger, and it was literally burnt. While eating our salads and potatoes, our food came out almost immediately. At a supper club, there’s typically time in between the salad course and meal.At a supper club, you’re paying for the experience. Having a salad bar or potato bar is a novel experience, but was ultimately disappointing and contradicts being served a plated salad. This would help with pacing.A few members in my party ordered the tenderloin, which boasted bleu cheese crumbs. They were not present. Additionally, one of the medium well tenderloins was more medium rare, medium, and inedible. We did ask about having the tenderloin remade— the waitress said it wasn’t possible to cook the current steak further (which we get) but she didn’t offer to remake it.When the waitress asked how the meal was, we voiced some of our concerns; immediately after we said this, the waitress asked if we were ready for the bill, when it was clear several members were still eating. This felt pushy and almost like she wanted us out of the restaurant.Lastly, the price point currently feels a touch high for the current quality of dishes and atmosphere. All in all, Cattails (the Maître d' especially) does a great job taking feedback, and it’s clear the supper club is eager to continue refining their menu and atmosphere. Once seating and menu issues are worked through more, I think Cattails will do quite well.

We tried cattails for dinner on a busy Friday night because they are on the Fremont fish/old fashioned contest.Pros:Amazing bar staff, there are no bar snacks and with a hungry 6 year old it was a challenge to keep her under control being hungry on a long wait. The extremely gracious bartender was willing to get her some soup to tide her over, all while being completely swamped. Best bar service I've had in years, incredibly thoughtful!Great traditional Wisconsin supper club atmosphere. Charlie Berens would be proud.Decent selection of beer and drinks were well poured.Salad bar was up to par, the potato bar was really great and unique!Cons:Initially told a 45min wait turned into 1.5 hours. Which is fine, but he expectations set were not met in this area.I liked all the food except I didn't really care for the perch or the bluegill. The breading has a unique seasoning, but I think it was pressed in a machine and frozen.Prime rib is over priced for the area.Dinning room needs that same supper club vibe that the bar has!Overall:We'll go back again if we can get there really early, but I won't get the fish, and I'll probably have a babysitter lined up.Good kids menu, but be aware there is no pasta on Fridays.Parking: If it is really busy you should plan on needing to park on the road and in the ditchKid-friendliness: Not a good place to bring hungry kids, the wait can drag out and there are no bar snacks to tide them over.Good kids menu, but be aware there is no pasta on Fridays

First time at Cattails. Bartender Macie was not only on point but made sure we never had an empty glass. She definitely likes her job and appreciates her customers. Sitting down Brice was our server. Our orders came out as ordered and everything was perfect. The salad, soup, and potato bar was really good. We definitely will be back. Best dinning experience in quite a while. Cattails your doing it right!

Very disappointed! I saw the reviews online and really looking forward to it but, I would have to say that they are reviews from employees, family and friends. All the hot food was over cooked. The grill is too hot! The burger was chard, my egg on the burger was crispy, bacon was hard to bite. And even the fish was over done. No condiments are given or at the salad bar. As for the potato bar it was ok, I would have liked to have some veggies, but it was never refilled the entire time we were there as well as the one soup they had and because of that the bottom of pans were all burned. The salad bar was the only saving grace for our dinner. I don't mind paying the price if the meal is good but not for subpar food. Needless to say, I am pretty sure we will not be returning!

Super Friendly and outgoing staff ! Bartender Ryann was right on the Spot to greet us as we stepped in the front door. Waitress and Waiter were also very helpful with our menu choices. I chose scallops drizzled in a three cheese sauce ...Yumm!! They also have a great salad bar with many choices of dressing.Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac Disease and can't have wheat, so to get a salad with Scallops was a great choice for me. They also offer steamed vegetables as well for a side.Parking: No problem finding a spot to park and if the lot gets full there is a driveway which is paved to park on so you're not crossing any streets.Kid-friendliness: Separate dining area away from the bar so you can socialize with family and friends.Wheelchair accessibility: Very nice concrete ramp to enter and exit, both bar and dining area👍.

Tonight was a typical crazy busy Friday night at a super club and we loved it. Really good ol' fashions! The bar was packed, people were mingling, the order was taken and then we were seated. The soup and salad bar was amazing!! Then we received a wonderful meal we had a fish sampler and tuna both AMAZING. The only thing that we missed was an after dinner ice cream drink because we were to full. Well done Cattails Team! Can't wait to be back.

I truly dislike to write this review, but I know it’s a way a company can learn.I am only posting as I went in for a meal with one other person, was told we would have a 30 minute wait. But we ended up waiting an hour and fifteen minutes. When we finally did have a waiter, say we are next, they went to take our order and then informed us they had sold out of the 2 meal choices we wanted.I can’t tell you how disappointed that I had an hour and 15 minutes wasted sitting uncomfortably in tall stools that we both had to climb to get into. It was quite loud, I do think they need some acoustic muffler pieces to make it not so noisy. My guest had a hearing aid I have to say it was quite loud and cannot understand a conversation with someone next to them. Another thing to note is if you had a drink you had to hold it while waiting for your table. As there was a lack of places to set drinks while sitting at the stools along the wall. Since we saw others with this issue we just passed on drinks while waiting.Lastly, I know they open at 4pm, but somehow sold out of two of their fish specials by 730. That’s sad considering they are open till 10pm

For some reason we were given menus while waiting to be seated in an empty dining room and then they took our order before even seating us, which was certainly a unique experience. I imagine if the dining room is ever full it will be incredibly crowded.None of my food was hot, could have been an off night, Alfredo tasted nothing like any Alfredo I've ever had and the noodles were definitely over cooked. I didn't try the steak but I was told by the people eating them they were not worth the price.I'm pretty sure they haven't been open long, hopefully everything improves but I don't think I'll be there to witness it.

We should have left when told it was a 1.5-hour wait for a table. Being a new super club, we were willing to wait. Ordered drinks at the bar, bartender was having a bad night and took it out on patrons with a flippant mouth and ignored customers. Although we sat waiting in front of the host, our waitress wondered the bar, looking for us to take our order before seating. Another 1.5 hours pass, and we tell the host we'll pay for the 2 salads, and we're leaving. He's shocked we didn't get our order and suggested we come during the week when it's not so busy. The place is horribly LOUD, and there's nowhere to get away from it. NOT a place for those with hearing issues. Cattails should change to reservations only and fix the noise issues.

Corned beef and cabbage was not good. Corned beef was charred and grilled. Cabbage and broth had no flavor. No carrots or potatoes with it though pictures show potatoes and carrots on FB page. Will not order it again. Salad bar was disappointing. Lettuce had much rust in it. Our waiter was attentive to our needs though.Update: owner has made things right. Said they took care of these issues and I was offered a meal but I don’t need that. Just wanted to make them aware of a few issues and they resolved them. Thank you Cattails. Upgraded the stars due to response from Cattails.

Was there Saturday night, longer wait than I was thinking. Good to see a supper club out here with people waiting to get in. Baby back ribs were great, mix drinks were awesome. They need to do a better job of getting people to fill open tables. Seems like they might need more people in kitchen, I’m sure it will improve as they go foreward.

Just went to dinner at Cattails. It was a huge disappointment. We really like the supper club experience but won’t be going back to Cattails. We arrived around 7:30 p.m. and were told it was going to be 9:00 before we would be seated. Okay, no problem… we’ve waited longer at area restaurants and, usually, it’s been worth the wait. I was just hoping there would be prime rib available when we were seated. The bar experience was fine. The bartenders were attentive and made a good drink. I agree with a previous reviewer as to the volume. It is very loud. Maybe a little attention to the acoustics would enhance the environment. But, what the heck, it is a supper club.We ordered from the menu (of course the prime rib was gone) and were seat as promised. The salad and potato bar was good. I ordered the Ahi Tuna that was advertised as being “medium rare”. Well, what I received was extremely over cooked. It was a waste of a nice tuna filet. I wanted to send it back but our waitress was no where to be found. I waited a while and, because I had already invested almost two hours into the meal, I ate it. When we were all about three-quarters done, the waitress appeared. I told her about the tuna and she said, “Well , I see you ate it!”, followed by “I’ll get your bill.”On the way out, I stopped to speak about this with the Hostess. Immediately, the waitress showed up and said that, early in the meal, she had checked with us and we said all was good… Not the case! The Hostess then said, “But you ate it.” How insulting! Did these two think I was telling them I was disappointed so that I could get a free (disappointing) meal? How disrespectful! I told them both we would not be back. I had already paid the bill, including a tip, and turned to leave. The Hostess said she would get the Manager, which she did. He seemed to be a nice enough guy and asked what he could do to make it right, including a refund. By that time I had enough and left. After the others insinuated I was looking for a free meal, I didn’t want them to be confirmed. It was an awful experience. Unfortunately, this is only one review. You know what they say, do it right, and you customers will tell a few other people… do it wrong, and your customer will tell a hundred others!

Recently visited Cattails on Saturday evening.Had a bit of foreshadowing on our way in as people leaving comments to everyone was "they have alcohol but out of food".Arrived about 6pm, ordered drinks, were good.Waitress came to take our order about 630, and first 3 things I tried to order, they were out ofWhen you have a limited weekend menu of 15 items, and a third of menu is sold out, not a good thing. So I settled on perch, another gentleman settled on a ribeye as his 3rd choice and 2 ordered ahi tuna. The waitress left, then returned shortly with attitude and proceeded to tell me that just because the first 3 items that I ordered were out, I should be happy to get my 4th selection. So we sat down to eat, proceeded to salad bar, and ranch dressing was empty. A girl came out to check stuff, made her aware of ranch being out and she said "let's shake a few drops out for you". Like really??? Why not just go fill it back up.So the food comes, and try to get to the potato bar. Which was a 10 minute ordeal as potato bar was placed right next to salad bar so had to wait in line for the salad people to get theirs. Finally was able to get potato's. Tater tots were empty, french fries and onion rings were soggy, and my mashed potatoes were just barely warm enough to melt the butter that was at the table and already at room temperature so melted easier. The ahi tuna was supposed to be medium rare and was well done, my 4th choice, perch was over cooked and dry. After being scolded before we even sat down, all the 4 of us wanted to do is get out of there without spending a dime more.Normally we would sit and have an after dinner drink, but in this case cut our losses and just get out.Extremely disappointed, and bad reviews travel like wild fire. One couple traveled 25-30 miles to try this place with us, and never again.Has the other couple we were wi not driven so far already, we would have walked out after being scolded.Rule #1 is customer is right. That waitress is very bad for your business. This is first review I have ever left, but truly felt the need.
