What an exceptional experience! We went for the guns and robbers day and it was spectacular. The characters were very authentic looking and kind and helpful. So much to do in the "village". We can't wait to come back. Can't believe we haven't come sooner. Thanks for a great time and all the work that goes into a production like this. Well worth it for so many families!

I last visited 50 years ago and the charm is still there. Enjoyed the slow train ride past fields and lakes, the logging museum, tram ride through the forest, blacksmith shop, and the General Store. Nice video about the history of logging. Staff was mostly young kids, who were very friendly and helpful. Spent 2 hours there and enjoyed the slow pace.

What a super cool experience. A walk into the past. I have taken the family several times. I recommend taking a earlier ride as there is enough to do for a good couple hours. My kids 7 and 11 love it.

Great place to visit and bring the family. You get to ride an old time steam train were people are dressed in period correct clothes to a logging camp museum. You get to learn all about the early logging industry also watch a blacksmith at work. There is an old time general store to shop at.

Great experience! What an interesting place! We brought a 2yr old and a 3yr oldWe were able to bring the stroller withLoads of history, and most of the experiences encouraged to touch, which was helpful, bringing kidsPetting zoo, you could also feed the animals. $1 per bagThe coo coo Cafe was reasonable$1 popcorn$2 per drink$5burger, brat$3 hot dogThey had a playground when you first arrive [it helped for when you are waiting before you load on to the train]The forest tour was awesome, but being bug sprayThe candy store had lots of toys and candy, I was happy to see toys in all price ranges so it was easy to bring in the kids and give them reasonable options. You could also bring in your own snacks/waterbottlesOverall wonderful experience!

Excellent place for late 19th century history. The train ride is very short and pretty below but still fun for all. The museum was very cool as many of the artifacts you could use or touch. The two 16 year old blacksmiths were very disappointing though. They clearly wanted to be else where with thier faces in third phones while sipping coffee.

Great Family Fun! Take a 15 min steam train ride to Camp 5. Fun animals at the petting zoo. Neat museum with blacksmith bending metal. Fun wagon ride in the woods. Nature center, nature walk, and slaughterhouse. To end the day they let the kids blow the whistle. Had a super great time!

Somehow we usually end up coming to Camp 5 once a year and always have a blast. The kids really love it. End of the year train robbery and fall fest is worth the trip.

We were told the train and complex were wheelchair accessible. They have done the bare minimum to make this accessible. The train itself is not wheelchair accessible. The person has to ride in a "cattle car". The ramp to get to the car is very steep which makes it hard to push the wheelchair up and down. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom in the depot but not at the complex. The terrain in the animal area made it hard to get the wheelchair around. Some of the buildings are not easily accessible.

Loved this place and our family had a great time. Recommend going on the Nature Trail first and then exploring the rest. Will allow you to bring your own food. There’s no baby changing area.

A great way to spend an afternoon with the whole family! Take a 10-15 minute ride from the station to the museum camp with all sorts of exhibits for kids and adults alike. Explore the logging museum and visit the blacksmith working his forge, and then go see all of the animals at the petting zoo before exploring the maze! Fun for a quick visit or a full afternoon.
