I just left dollar general in Lancaster and all I have to say is that I witnessed the manager talking badly about a vender that had come in to put together a shelf and after she had left the manager was being rude saying thing like the vender needs to get an actual job and that she hope she gets pad well for something they don’t use

Nice clean store in Lancaster and friendly staff. A lady by the name of Sarah keeps this store organized very well. This is the only Dollar General around that is this Neat and Clean and has the Nicest helpful working staff give these people a Raise!!!

I'm an O.T.R. truck passenger ;-). We sometimes find it extremely hard to find parking at night. Pulled into this Dollar General, asked the manager if we could park along the side of the building. She graciously gave us permission to do so! I would recommend this store to anyone, any day!

This store is disgusting. Always messy, cluttered, and dirty! It is a struggle to even get a cart through an aisle there's always box's or poorly places racks in the way. Every. single. time. the employees as far as I can tell have zero pride.... there has never once been someone at the register when I'm ready to check out. Tonight I watched a man stand there looking around helplessly while the two girls that were 'working' stood in a back aisle talking about loosing weight and who is going to smoke a quick cigarette first. When I had had enough and proceeded to check out the girl rang up my items and talked with her coworker the entire time. How rude... the cherry on top though is this pic I snapped of the women's restroom I attempted to use when I first arrived.. he'll if I'm taking my toddler in there. Rediculous!

Nicest dollar general I’ve seen. I travel a lot and this is the cleanest, friendliest dollar general. The employees are really nice and helpful. Even when they’re busy, they take the time to talk to you and ask you if you’ve found everything okay. To the commenter about dollar general being transphobic- I’m gay, and they treat me just as well as anyone else. Super nice staff! To call this dollar general homaphopic is outrageous.

place is usually pretty cluttered and disorganized, today I bought a two pack of black permanent markers and both of them were dried out and didn't work. Can pick up some good bargains occasionally.

I don't live in Lancaster, but we end up raiding this place every year when decorating for the fair. It's a bit cramped and not laid out like others. Still, it's got everything you're going to need.

I used to work for the people at this organization and they're very transphobic and they hate anyone who has a different religion I was fired because of quote dress code violation which begs the question would they do this to a Hasidic Jewish person I am severely dissatisfied with this organization they claim to help people in need but instead of helping them make their life worse anybody who shops there should know about this they are very very discriminative when it comes down to it and people should not and I repeat should not shop here for that reason if not for that reason alone the place is filthy dirty it never gets clean properly they give you like 5 Seconds to clean the entire store which is nowhere near a enough time a lot of things go into the reasons why this place is a total and complete mess of a store how it ever stays in business is beyond literally beyond belief

I went to use the Redbox and to buy chips for nachos. At first I didn't see the chips but I had just passed them by. The store was so cluttered with boxes I just missed it.
