I want to thank this Ace Hardware for the excellent customer service I received. I ordered a new Weber Grill and it was supposed to be able to he picked up. We went to get it and they didn't have it but said they would put it together and deliver for free. Amazing! Got it delivered the next day. So impressed with everyone that was involved in this transaction. Thank you so much.

Wasting my time. They have a new policy of not cutting down things like pvc pipes to a size that can be put in a car. Had to drive to Menards, again to get what I needed. Not the first time I couldn't get everything I needed there and had to go elsewhere, going to save myself the time and just skip ace altogether next time.

I was looking for a ups partner that takes pre postage returns for Amazon . This Ace does! And they will give you a receipt in case you need it. Thank you for the ease of doing this for us who have Amazon returns!

Like all Aces, they have a lot of stuff. And, the staff is willing to help, but sometimes they are unfamiliar with what can be engineered from those parts. And others who think they know only tell you that which they know and are unfamiliar with other choices.Of course, there is the price factor as well, and need factor too. When you know something is cheaper by several dollars at Menards. Only you can make that choice. I believe in shopping local, but I also believe in fair pricing. Hope this helps .

Everyone here was extremely helpful and polite. We weren’t followed and watched for no reason. We weren’t bothered as we browsed the store. When we couldn’t find what we needed they knew exactly where the item was in seconds.

Typical of the Aces I've seen. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful the second you walk in. They tend to fill a vacuum in areas too small for a big box store, but still have a market for hardware. Because of that, the prices are ridiculous. Like 2x as much as a big box. Great for a quick run for a fitting or when advice is needed, but I don't know why anyone would buy a lawnmower there.

We had a playhouse minus the hardware needed to put it together - about 150 pieces. I brought the list of hardware in and an employee helped me get everything together, including figuring out the best substitutes for a couple of pieces they didn't have an exact match for, in about 10 minutes. They were just so helpful and it was appreciated. They are always helpful when we go in.

Watson Ace embodies everything that you'd want in a family owned, local hardware store. The employees are VERY knowledgable and ALWAYS friendly. They also have some of the BEST grills and grill accessories out of any Ace. I ways arrive there is in duress and leave there with a smile. Thanks Watson family!

I brought a Stihl chainsaw in that I couldn’t get running again after some issues. I had previously taken it to another Stihl dealer closer to my house. They told me the saw wasn’t worth fixing and then proceeded to try and sell me a saw off their shelf that wasn’t comparable to mine. A friend told me to go see Mike at the Ace Hardware in Lake Mills. Mike went through the saw, got it running and fixed a few other things that needed to be repaired for a very fair price. I highly recommend Watson Ace Hardware to anyone needing work done on Stihl equipment.

Oddly they didn't have switch blades. Or anything similar only box cutters. Nothing more robust for more demanding tasks a box cutter wouldn't cut it.

ACE IS BEST PLACE. We travel from Jefferson to Lake Mills to ACE.THE ACE CLOSED IN Jefferson, Wi because Theisens big store came to town, it really is not as good as the ACE store was in JEFFERSON.I am glad that WATSON ACE is still available.Mike the store manager at ACE IN Jefferson is in Lake Mills so many people travel to that store for great service from Mike, and the entire staff.

Every Memorial Day I attend the Watertown Memorial Park paver ceremony. On Monday, Memorial Day, I was on my way to the ceremony and needed more flags to place in honor of my Family's Veterans; seven total Veterans all who earned their National Defense Ribbon.I also placed a Flag at very close friend of my Father's. My Father's friend, a US Army Scout Sniper, was captured and was a POW during WW2.So, I picked out the flags, went to the cash register to check out, and the owner said to the cashier (who was an Air Force Veteran) “No Charge, Thank You for Your Service!" (I am an Army Veteran also and included in the 7 stated above).Stunned, speechless and close to tears - I accepted his offer and will make a point to Thank Him and Mr. Watson personally this week. I will show them the pictures of the pavers those Flags were placed.Words cannot explain how grateful I am for their generous and patriotic gesture. Thank You Watson's Ace Hardware!! You are always there when I/We need you!
