First time coming into Wisconsin quick trip from Illinois. Some of the kindest 2 women I’ve met working behind the counter! Answered all questions me and my boyfriend had, I got to try Wisconsin cheese! Cheese curds were great, tons of variety and they had homemade jams and lots of cool souvenirs. I would definitely come back and try other cheese they have! Thank you all!!

My children and I went to Lake Geneva and of course, we had to stop for cheese. We were going kindve late in the afternoon and were so glad they were open.This is the cutest little cheese shop Wisconsin has in my opinion!The shop keepers were so friendly and tolerant of my children who were over excited and had to touch everything as I tried to keep up with them and critale any poor behavior from their excitement. They let my boys sample all kind of cheeses and meats. They were very gracious about everything.I ended up spending near $100.00 in their shop and got great products! We have been enjoying everything! I regret nothing !But the cherry on top was the woman who I'd imagine is running the place. She had stories and tons of information about the products and how to best eat them. At the end of our transaction and time at the Cheese Box, she threw in some chocolate covered oreos and told us to enjoy Wisconsin and take care. She was a wonderful woman and we are so glad we got to meet her.This was my sons birthday trip, so he felt super special, and her kindness was more than appreciated!If you ever need cheeses or meats, head to the cheese box and give them all your business ! I will be ordering online soon and many more times after that! Hello from northern Indiana, and THANK YOU for being a part of making this trip GREAT!

The stop for meat and Wisconsin cheese! Local beers too. Friendly staff will help you select cheeses to your liking! Our selections were delicious that evening! Smells so good when you walk in the door. Easy parking right in front of the shop.

Great place! They had incredible sandwiches which we weren't even going for! The lady helping us informed me on the proper temp to eat cheeses at, which I wasnt aware of! Its a cute little shop with a great cheese selection as well as other items. If you're in Lake Geneva, you gotta go!

Wisconsin cheeses a-plenty! Excellent service. Get a paper check list outside and check off the items to order your sandwich. Fun and delicious! Brought ours out for picnic today. Homemade potato salad, yummy. Great place to get satisfy your cheese curiosities. Very knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed our visit.

Small deli style cheese and snack store. They had meats, crackers, anything you may want to build a snack board. They also had cookies, and made sandwiches. The ladies behind the counter were very kind and helpful and sampled a few cheese pieces that we were apprehensive about(ghost pepper and a very aromatic cheese) and walked away with a handful of tasty finds! Highly recommended a stop here.

We weren't in Wisconsin for long but I'm so happy this is one of the stops we made. It is a small store but it has a lot to take in. The couple running the store were so friendly and helpful. We received tips on how to enjoy the various cheeses we purchased. As a movie buff I was able to pick up a very unique sauce and I came away with a fun little story from the shopkeeper that I never would of expected.

It may be small, but it is mighty fabulous! We were on a quest for snacks and hit the jackpot. Next camping trip we will order a cheese plate to pick up on our way in. Sure there are fancy gourmet cheese places, but a place that brings Polish snack sausage back from Chicago beats them all! Friendly, helpful, price decent for a touristy town.

I had never been to Wisconsin before and this was our first stop! I am a huge cheese lover and this place was fantastic. A cute, quiant, mom-pop shop with wonderful cheese and sandwiches! Worth every penny and excellent service as well.

Lovely little shop with wonderful Wisconsin sausages, cheese, and gifts. My son was thrilled with his cheese head. Thank you to the kind staff that pointed out some of the local favorites. And... P.S. They aren't lying about the peanut brittle. It is that good.

Great place for cheese. We love to stop in to pick up a sandwich and soup for lunch. Soups are delicious and sandwiches are always better when made by someone else. The bread they use for sandwiches is so fresh and delicious. So if you in the area and need something for lunch give them a try. You won't regret it.

Upon entering my wife, son, and I were greeted right away with the warmest welcoming. The woman behind the counter graciously offered us samples of cheese and other items for sale. The cheese selection was better than I could have imagined and this is coming from someone who was born and bred in Wisconsin. If you’re in Lake Geneva, the Cheese Box is a MUST STOP!

Looking over the bad reviews is so typical of people who have no clue what real quality is, and how smaller town businesses are run.They come into LG where there are so many quaint shops, restaurants, specialty shops etc. run by locals, when instead they should be shopping World Market and chains where quality is either void or hit and miss, but because the chains carry a bigger variety of expensive stale garbage they can sell cheaper, the uninformed consumer thinks they’re getting a better deal.Born and raised in IL we visited the LG area often and always stopped in at the Cheese Box for fresh, good quality items. And you get what you pay for.Now living far away in another state I recently ordered some of my favorites and don’t mind paying for quality.The rest of you complainers should stick to World Market, Whole Foods and other foreign owned companies. Leave the good stuff for those of us who appreciate small businesses and quality.

My wife and I just decided to stop in and I am VERY glad we did!! The smells brought us back to our childhood and the products are 1st rate! The staff was very helpful and very friendly. It was a wonderful experience! The Cheese Box has just earned 2 lifelong customers!

Ribs were incredible!!! Huge selection of cheese and other local favorites. The fresh made sandwiches looked awesome and the staff was so nice. We'll be back tomorrow for the smoked salmon and lobster bisque.

The people were nice, and the food was awesome. I got a roast beef sandwich with potato salad and a pickle, and it was 12$, but it was worth it. I definitely would go back to try the soup and other sandwiches.

Such a great place for sandwiches, cheeses, meats, and so much more! I love their pretzel rolls with some honey turkey and ham and the works! Add a Sprecher cherry cola and fresh potato salad: that is one amazing sandwich. I also had their lobster bisque that I swear was the best I ever tasted. The staff are all welcoming, professional, and are such sweet people. This place is quite special to my fiancé and I as we hope to keep coming here for many years to come!
