Daniel was very helpful. I come here almost every week and he has the best customer service I've received. The staff here is all very very friendly Daniel want above and beyond today though. I'm sure he does everyday, very pleasant. Definitely a place to stop and get some good meat. I always get my lunch meat here for my week. They listen to you give you how you want it cut, they pay attention to the customer, especially Daniel. It's a great place. I get a lamb slaughtered here every year as well they do a great job at that also. Just a solid butcher shop with lots of extras inside.

This is a very friendly business. I had a deer processed here. The prices were a bit higher than my usual processor. However the place u usually go to is a 90 minute drive. The turnaround was extremely quick. They estimated it would take a week and I got a call a couple days later saying it was ready. Everything in the store was clean and tidy. They also had some vintage pictures and decor.

I have my venison processed here and have for many years because they do an awesome job and put out quality stuff. Their products are the finest with some exotic meat and fish choices. Great wine selection and I like that they have note cards for each wine with a short description and pairing ideas.

Best butcher around. Steaks are amazing. Cherry brats are a must. Wine selection is very impressive and Nick was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Staff is all very friendly and accommodating.

Great selection of meats, sauces, out of the ordinary package goods. I built my own cheese gift box with their huge selection of cheeses. Large wine area. Fairly sure you can order custom cuts of meats. $$

Always great variety and fresh product at LGCM.Great meats, and Spotted Cow at reasonable prices.If I lived closer (40 mins away) you'd see me every other week.Thank you for the product and services you provide, LGCM.Picked up several packages of brats to treat some former neighbors who are visiting for the holidays, they moved to florida a couple decades ago and recently mentioned how they havent had a good brat in a LOOOOONG time.LGCM has us covered.

This is to the response! Flank steak cured and smoked. Come on man. I lived in Lake Geneva since 1979. We took a field trip to your slaughterhouse .Are you kidding me? I've been eating that stuff since I was in high school back in 1980. I have never gotten a batch like I received during my review. Or I would have complained once in the last 30 years.

My husband and I just love this butcher. Unbelievably great meats. We come up from IL and part time residents in LG, on the weekends and try to always come by and also bring there meats back to IL with us. Everyone that works there are very knowledgeable and have never had anything but positive experience shopping there.

When it's busy get a number, preorder walk in get a number, they are loud so you hear your number and a great place to visit. Also, check out their wines and a very small hand picked spirits. Stop in!

Great management and employees!!! The meat is some of the best I've ever had. I really enjoy all the different flavors they have in their burgers and chicken sausage especially. Love the Greek pasta salad from the deli and the flourless chocolate cake is heavenly! The cheese and lunch meat are also wonderful!

Very disappointing experience. I'm certain my deer was lost and my entire order of sausage was wrong.I've been using this butcher for 20 years to process my venison. I've encouraged my hunting companions to use Lake Geneva Meats and they have complained about the quantity of meat they receive compared to other processors. I've been loyally returning, I usually harvest 2 or 3 deer each year and butcher 1 or 2 myself so I have venison so I don't mind the short so much.This year I was really let down. I brought a large doe to be processed mine was the 2nd to be dropped off the Monday after opening weekend. I had to call 3 weeks later to find out what was going on, I was told a lot of paper work was stacked up and they couldn't tell me anything. A week later I received a call. I came in and picked up my meat and paid for sausage to be processed. A 120 lb dressed out deer produced less than 20 lbs of meat but 21 lbs of trimmings, this is less than half the normal amount packed venison from a deer.So be it, I have venison from a deer I butchered myself (but at $150 to process this turns my venison into $7.50 per lb) so I took my single small box under my arm and the cheeses and sauces I purchased. Then I paid 100% for the sausage, rather than just the 50% deposit. That was turned around very quickly. After serving a pack at a party I realized the sausage was not the Jalapeno Cheddar I ordered but summer sausage. So I paid a premium for probably some one else's fawn and got the wrong sausage.

I bought a half a steer and it was processed at Lake Geneva Country Meats. Everything is nicely trimmed, wrapped and labeled. I opened a few packages of soup bones to make stock today. WOW They were beautifully cut with enough meat left on them and excess fat was removed. You cannot buy anything near this quality at a grocery store. I am so happy!

Love this meat market. Great tasting meats. Great customer service. A tad higher than say Kroger but worth every penny. Their deli counter is awesome. Best homemade chicken salad. They will carry your order to your car. 5 stars.

I enjoy the quality of products at this store, as well as the very friendly staff. I generally stop to get an assortment of meats, but also the cheeses, and beers. The ladies behind the counter are great about my requests for special cuts or sizes. If you come on Thursdays, they have the freshest brats, but if you come on a weekday, you can also talk to the butchers and get their tips on cutting the meat, as they are slower and have more time to talk to you. Top notch place!
