Do Yourself a favor if You are ever in the Lake Geneva area and go to this Antique store. They have so much stuff. We were just driving to another destination and My Wife asked if We could stop and take a look.... An hour and a half later, it was well worth it! I bought a Augusta National Ball marker. I wish I would have purchased more. Anyway, had a great time.

Horrible place. Woman behind counter was rude and discriminatory. She would not let us enter the shop because we were wearing medical masks. I have health concerns and was told by health experts that it was important that I protect myself in that way. We were from out of town and just finished decorating my parents' graves for Christmas. My parents had lived in Lake Geneva for many years. It was an emotional experience, and I needed some cheer. We drove by this antique mall, and I saw a nutcracker in the window - I just wanted to know the price. Then this rude woman confronted us when we entered the store wearing masks. I totally agree with other visitor's comments (multiple others have commented online) about the rudeness of employees, the ignorance of people in this shop and the blemish this brings on the town of Lake Geneva. AVOID this place - they are discriminatory, unwelcoming and bad for this town's reputation.

Crazy high prices and over the past 5-6 years the inventory hasn’t changed at all. The cherry on top is that the staff behind the counter has a large reputation for being unfriendly. I don’t like giving my money to places like this and other people i’ve spoken to in Lake Geneva feel the same about this business. It’s a shame.

I've been a customer of Lake Geneva Antique Mall for over 15 years. My shopping experience there had always been pleasant, as the staff would always leave the customer alone to browse and take their time shopping.I went there again this past Wednesday. I wore my Covid mask in the store as I have done at that establishment for the past 3 years when I visited. This time things were different. As I walked in the door, I greeted the two women at the front counter with a nice "hi". One of them ignored me, and the other said "hi" back rather coldly and quietly. As I walked into the first aisle, a shorter older women approached me directly from a booth further in the store. She stood right in front of me and said "masks are not allowed in the store". I told her that I've been shopping there for years, and even offered to remove my mask momentarily so she could see my face. She said "no, masks are not allowed in the store". She then said that it would be best for me to do my antique shopping elsewhere if I didn't remove my mask.As I was leaving and walked past the front counter, both women there would not look me in the eyes. They were both gazing down, and one was shaking her head.An explanation for this behavior would have been nice, but none was given. The older, shorter woman (who I'm guessing was the owner) was abruptly rude. It also seems like the staff is a bit timid around her.I can only guess why they now have a rudely enforced no mask policy. Maybe they experienced retail theft, and this is part of their solution? Maybe they are retaliating against a Covid masking policy that they never agreed with? Regardless, I'll never be shopping there again. The Lake Geneva Chamber of Commerce tells me that they have no power/influence over Lake Geneva Antique Mall, as they are not Chamber of Commerce members.

We have purchased furniture and small antiques over the years. Today, we went into the store with a mask on, and she told us we couldn’t be in here with it on (no explanation). We were shocked and very disappointed! We felt discriminated against because I have a hidden illness.

Were told to leave since we were wearing masks, and they allegedly have a policy of not allowing masks to be worn in the store.Nice furniture pieces, but will not be heading back due to an asinine policy and rude staff.

Nice! Clean. Well organized. Antique stores typically, unfortunately, have some relics of the past we may not like..... but I appreciate the placement of the racist stuff in the back furthest corner of the store (mainly a few figures in a glass case). We purchased some cool art there, would recommend.

The owners would not let my children and I in to shop unless I left my small purse at the front of the store. I was the only person of color in the store and looking around. I saw several other Caucasian women with tote bags and backpacks. I politely called out the discrepancy, and they still insisted multiple times that my bag was larger and that I would need to leave it with them. If you are a person of color, you will not be welcomed here. It was a such a shame, and really tarnished my family’s experience in Lake Geneva.

I was discriminated against by a man at the counter because of my disability.

This antique mall is so full of treasures that my mind was occupied every single minute of our several hour visit. Treasures are organized beautifully, so as to not overwhelm the senses... just to keep one's interest moving from one booth to another. There were some booths that were offering price reductions for the holidays, and that encouraged several purchases that might not have otherwise been made. Further, there were a handful of people working who were kind enough to answer questions and fill in the blanks when we were stumped by an unfamiliar antique. Overall, I'd say it is one of the better antique malls in Wisconsin in terms of organization and the breadth and beauty of the items carried. Very nice...

We will spend at least $100 at every antique mall we go to. My wife carries a very small backpack rather than a purse and it's smaller than a purse and we were told we couldn't bring it in. Sign says no large bags this is far from a large bag.

Nice stuff, but the prices are really high on most things. Lots of 'smalls'. The inventory seems to turn over at a much higher clip during the busy summer season.

This place is okay. Last 3 times I've stopped, left empty handed. Some vendors are pricing items on the high end so nothing is selling or moving from their space. Looking to buy, not view their collection as a museum.

I was going to skip this place because of the bad reviews. It's an antique mall with many vendors so prices are all over the place. That's how it works, nothing unusual there. I found a few good items at good prices. The main reason I'm writing a review is because the two ladies working there were really nice and helpful. They were super friendly and help both my wife and I find things we were looking for.

Owner is rude. He profiles his customers. Has his employees follow customers he doesn’t like.

Items are nice, but bit high in price. I detected an old musty odor on the left side of store.Ladies at the register, be careful what you say as a Customers husband might be following her out shortly after she has left the building.

I am surprised at the number of negative reviews. I have shopped here since the 80's and have never had an unprofessional experience. As far as the "no children" , this used to be a usual and customary rule at many antique stores although it may no longer be PC. The owner has a responsibility to his vendors to protect their glass, porcelain, and delicate items that are everywhere from damage and shoplifting. Also antique prices are market driven. If people are buying, that's what it worth and the price is justified. Furniture prices are actually down quite a bit from 15-20 years ago. I am always looking for a deal and I buy from there regularly so I don't think most vendors are out of line. If you want a kid friendly "antique" store where you might find an something cheap between a pile of beanie babies and some 1970's hub caps, try Waterford or Benson's Corners.

Extremely rude!!! We went in at about 11:40 am and didn’t know that they didn’t open until noon. A older woman said we don’t open til noon, very cold and rude. Just walked away from us and we said we’re sorry. She basically dismissed us, never responded. VERY SNOTTY!! We will NEVER be back nor would I recommend this shop to anyone. Maybe you should keep the front door locked until you open. Also a hand written sign on the door said no one under 16 allowed. You would think especially during these times that you would appreciate business.

Worst antique shopping experience I've ever had! The staff was extremely rude to me, my wife and children. My kids wanted to buy something special with their birthday money and the owner was literally yelling at us telling us that we should have our children on Xanax because they were having fun and talking to eachother. We have been to hundreds of antique stores over the years and we teach our children to appreciate items of history and what they learned here is the world does have rude people that have lost sight of basic decency. Avoid this place at all costs!

The Lake Geneva Antique Mall has excellent selections and very diverse selections. I'm amazed at reading the negative reports. It appears the negative reports all involve children. Antique malls are not for children. Leave them at home. Children only disturb the serious antique shopping experience and are a potential source of items either missing or broken. Most likely the people who complain the most typically have issues/problems at any other venue they may visit! Consider their review to be nothing more than their inability to deal with life’s issues!
