Great little record shop just off the main drag at Lake Geneva. Lots of gems throughout, I ended up walking out with three records in amazing condition all priced very fairly. Owner is a really nice guy too. Definitely swing by!

I’ve had great conversations with the owner for the past 9 years. I always frequent this location whenever I visit Geneva Lake and even though it’s smaller in size compared to what I’m used to in Chicago, he has the best knowledge and resources to turn you onto new music I never knew about. Thanks for the positive experience every time, keeping it real and being a guide to understand what I really enjoy by introducing and exploring new avenues. I look forward to my next visit.

Went in to check out some records as I just got into vinyl collecting. The guys up front were super helpful and were fun to talk to. I got some really nifty vinyls out of the gigantic dollar bin section. Overall, it's a cool little shop that I'll definitely be back to

Whenever you stop buy, Tim, the owner will always be glad to talk about music and equipment. Tim is very peaceful and kind to anyone who walks through his door. Record selection is great, every record I have gotten from Black Circle Rcords has never been disappointing. Even in the used section of records, he makes sure to have records with almost no scratches and new sleeves. Black Circle Records is also at many music events in the area and even has it's own, Feed Your Head Fest. If you haven't been to Feed Your Head Fest, you have absolutely no idea what you are doing. Tim is a godsend to any music lovers out there.

As a former record store owner and radio DJ, I always try to find record stores to check out when travelling. Stopped here on the way home from a vacation in the U.P. It was a Monday and a holiday, so this was one of the few stores open on our route that day. The store was smaller than I thought it would be, with a limited-but-good selection of vinyl. The owner was fantastic--very friendly and excited to talk about music. He turned me on to a couple of new bands, which resulted in me purchasing three albums and two t-shirts! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Just moved to the area and stopped in and found a bunch of vinyl I've been looking for. Great selection of new and used, as well as some audio equipment. Owner is very friendly and knowledgable on all genres of music. Store mascot is a very adorable dog! Prices are more than reasonable. Owner grades all vinyl on the outer sleeve with sticker, and the records I purchased played pretty flawlessly. Great location for parking and other stops...coffee, eateries, etc.

I’ve been to local record stores since the mid 60’s growing up in Chicago and since mid 90’s living in Wisconsin and have never met such an outstanding person to converse about music and life than the owner Tim. He is a kind and caring gentlemen who made the trip very special. His knowledge of music is far greater than mine,And I thought I knew a lot about music history. I highly recommend visiting this record store as he has a great selection of used and new vinyl. It’s really worth the trip just to meet Tim!! 5+++++ stars!!!

I've been to Black Circle Records a few times over the past couple of years (visiting from out of town.) The selection is always nice and in great shape and you can always find some good albums. You're also lucky if Lola the bulldog comes out to sniff you and get some head rubs. Thank you! We'll be back next time we visit Wisconsin.

This is the best shop in the rural northern il southern Wisconsin area. By a lot. The guy is the most friendly and personable owner in the area. His taste in music is fantastic, and is always on the lookout for records he thinks people will be fascinated by. So you're going to see classics you've seen everywhere, some stuff you might be looking for, and some stuff you never knew you wanted. All in a small shop. Before Covid it was a great place for live music and local bands too. Also, the only bad review of this place is literally just about the guy not wearing a mask. That person gets a 1 star review as a human being. I'd give this place 10 stars if I could just because the guy has some brain cells and thinks for himself. Love this store.

Smaller selection, but quality over quantity is apparent. Vinyls are organized extremely well. Expect to find vinyls in at least VG+ condition through the store.

This is a very hip store friendly owner wide selection of quality LPS and music related accessories. The only negative about the store is that it is not wheelchair accessible due to it being an old building.
