It's not very often that I go to Dollar General in Ladysmith anymore (if I do I usually need a few small items). The reason I choose not to go in there anymore is because every time I go in there for just a few items I stand at the cash register waiting for someone to ring up my items. Not only has this happened to me but I have also went in there and stood in a line of up to six people and the cashier is no where to be found! Today was the last time I will ever step foot in there being I stood at the register so long that I finally decided to leave what I "was" going to purchase and walk out the door. Not only is there poor customer service but have you tried to walk in the doorway at the Ladysmith store? There's so many items piled right in front when you walk in the door that it's overwhelming and it looks messy.

Filthy cluttered store. Hard to go up an down aisles as there are boxes piled and stuff falling off over stuffed shelfs laying on the floors. Aisles are so narrow. Trying to put so much stuff in such a small store. The outside of store looks like a junk shop with all the racks and bins of old stuff for sale. Mark the stuff down more then a few cents and maybe people will buy it.

Prices are not $1.00. You have to go to the original Dollar Tree on 63N. You can get cheaper smokes here. I mostly stop for smokes, snacks, and cleaning supplies. Clean store, nice people. Kinda off the main drag, 27 N. Its buy the cinema in Rock Creek area.

They need to hire more cashiers. Felt sorry for the girl that was checking everyone out. She was the only one up there while the other one stocked the shelves. If you ask me stocking could have waited until there was not that my people in the store and she could have been helping the other cashier.

It's a dollar general. I prefer the one in bruce, but if your in the area, it meets your needs.

The ladies that work at this location have worked their tails off organizing everything . I had a very easy shopping experience I found everything I needed and more. Great job ladies !!!🤘🤘🤘

Could not get down the aisles. Even where they weren't stocking. The girl at checkout would not say thank you, or anything else. Won't be back.

So crowded with merchandise. No carts available, most were filled with merchandise the employees were doing something with. There are always large carts of merchandise in every aisle. Such a mess :(

So happy to have them here all we had was a gas station to get milk bread with DG it nice to have a choice good prices thank you

Was fairly impressed in the layout of the front of the store where I pretty much only shopped. The clerk was friendly and looking around looked like a decent effort of cleanliness.

It was not too busy when I shopped. Lots of selection. Lower prices. Very crowded isles though. That was my only negative.

Friendly staff. This store is packed to the max. No empty space on the shelfs and it's a DG you know what it's like. Awesome!

Nice store to get last minute items but this store is cluttered in the aisle with carts of products . Walmart is still cheaper on some things.

Lots of stuff in the aisles. Very messy shelves made it hard to find what I was looking for and when asked for assistance the cashier got upset because i asked her to help.

cheapest toilet paper in town place is worn down but I used to work at a family dollar and the corporations are to blame for lack of employees etc.
