My husband and I had our wedding at Dillman's on September 18, 2021, and it was the most perfect weekend. We worked with Dillman's staff (mainly Stephanie) the whole summer leading up to our day and she was always professional and kind.We had the majority of our guests coming in from out of town, so almost the entire resort was from our party during the weekend; everyone raved about how gorgeous the resort was and how fun it was to stay all in one spot close to all the wedding festivities. There is the most beautiful spot to have the ceremony right by the water, and the weather turned out perfectly for us. Dillman's was amazing at helping to set up the chairs and give us recommendations about how to do everything. There is also an amazing spot up top where the tent went (we got a 40 by 100 tent for around 200 guests), and Dillman's was also so helpful about giving the tent company directions when we weren't sure.We chose to host a welcome dinner the night before where over a hundred people attended that went amazing, and the day of the wedding went without a hitch! A member of staff was always around to help us when we needed anything, and the bartenders were amazing, efficient, and fun.We will definitely be coming back for our anniversary year after year; they even allows dogs, so our 10 week old puppy got to be apart of the celebration! Highly recommend Dillman's as a wedding venue; our guests who were from the area kept going on and on about how they didn't know there was such a beautiful place for a wedding hidden up here!

We have been customers for many years and just had another wonderful 4 night stay. The cabins have most everything you need and our dogs love the easy access to the water. Fishing can be very good on the quiet yet large lake. The resort is well kept and peaceful and the owners are lovely people. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular!

We had to change the dates of our visit so did not know what our accommodations would be. We found out that we were in an upstairs room, which wouldn’t work for us because of our advanced ages and physical abilities. They were extremely helpful and gave us a lovely cabin which really could have housed a family of 5. We were only two. We were very pleased with the first night cocktail hour and dinner that went with our group of artists attending.

Fantastic up north resort. Many different cabin layouts that can accommodate small to large groups. There are great views all around the peninsula. Don't miss sunset each night on the sunset pier. Great place to relax, swim, kayak, canoe.Really a great place for a family vacation. Highly recommend getting away up north.

Our family holds a reunion here every year and we all love it. The cabins have everything you need to make family meals and if you ever need anything the front desk staff really good or of their way to help. They have a good selection of lake toys (kayaks, paddkeboats, pontoon boats, sail boats and more). Their shore front is always pristine and there's always a due to make admitted in the evening. Highly recommend!

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Dillman’s and it was an absolute dream! All of our guests had a great time at the resort and had nothing but great things to say about their stay. The resort is absolutely stunning and the cabins were clean and in great condition. Stephanie, Todd, Scott and James went above and beyond to make our visit and wedding day special. We can’t wait to return, as we will definitely be making future trips back to Dillman’s!

I did not stay at Dillman's Bay Resort as they were all booked for the dates my party needed, but I felt compelled to leave a review after speaking to (who I believe) was the owner on the phone. She was so kind and polite and did her best to try to accommodate my needs. From my experience, the customer service often plays a significant role in the type of experience you will have. I would recommend checking this place out solely over the pleasant experience I had on the phone.

So my wife, I, her parents and her sister stayed here this past weekend. Let me start with if you’re expecting a hotel this will NOT be the place for you. If you plan to cook out or eat in, bring most grocery items or you will pay extra for them at or near the resort. Other cons about the resort I would say at least when we went, it was $40 extra just to bring my sis in law with (per day), area set up for landscaping but many things left undone I.e bags of mulch everywhere none opened and used, many, many possible mayfly hatchlings we could not seem to get away from, smell of manure near the boat landing on the peninsula. Which brings me to my next point, I had planned this trip for months one of their biggest selling points was a boat landing you could drive to and off of at the peninsula. Not until I checked in did we find out that the boat landing was “under construction.” So going for a walk one afternoon and smelling the manure we walked to the boat landing where things were roped off and sprinklers were set out, but no real construction. They did however offer 1 bottle of wine for my father in law and I having to drive to the public boat landing (no signage). Also no beaches and no fish cleaning shack/area. The other big selling point was the chalet built in 2003 nice, newer. Going inside this wasn’t the case see included pics. We also encountered a few smaller issues that luckily they or we resolved quickly. Pros: pretty friendly staff, beautiful views, beautiful water, ok covered marina, lodges are definitely rustic, good signage when getting close to resort, pet friendly but be warned many including the owners just have their dogs roaming free.

Family oriented cabin resort on White Sand Lake. Plenty of activities and watersports for all-day fun! Excellent quiet areas for the artist with watercolor courses for beginners and advanced. Clean, quiet, well maintained, and super friendly on-site owners.

Check in time is 3pm and we arrived at about 5 after 3. We were told that our rooms weren't ready yet and ended up waiting almost an hour for our cabin to be done getting cleaned. Also, tons of dogs around and most weren't leashed which led to piles of dog poop everywhere. The owners of the resort have an old golden retriever that pooped on the lawn in front of our cabin three times while we were there and we were forced to clean it up so none of the little kids in our group stepped in it.Finally, some of our family left a day earlier than the rest of the group and we ended up having to share our cabin with a different family. This wouldn't have been a problem but there was only one kitchen for all to share so it was incredibly awkward to try and share a stove and fridge with some random family. Would think twice before I ever came back here.

This is a great place with an absolutely perfect location on the lake. Many vacation spots in this area have only have one pier or one area to walk into the water. Dillman's on the other hand is located on a small peninsula so you have the choice of three or more areas. They have several fire pits (and free firewood) so evenings were fun. There's lots of space. You can get to know other guest or enjoy your privacy. If you're looking for something brand new and absolutely flawless (i.e., much more expensive), you may want to go elsewhere. However, if you're looking for a place with lots of charm, character, and a friendly atmosphere – not to mention great prices – this is it.

Semi rustic lake accommodations were great for us staying with multiple generations. It place had a kitchen and laundry which is great with a little one. No restaurant on site so be sure to prepare. Also cell phones are spotty in the area and wifi is limited.

Dillman's is a great, dog-friendly, old-school resort. The rooms weren't exactly up to date but if you're staying for lake activities and have your expectations set for a cabin experience, it's a great vacation spot.

Picturesque. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room worked very well for my group of friends, but we spent most of the time enjoying the great outdoors. I would definitely stay here again.

I was married at Dillman’s resort on September 15th 2018 and could not have imagined a more beautiful day or weekend. The staff at Dillman’s, especially Steph, were the reason our weekend and day were so perfect. From all the pre planning to the weekend of execution everyone was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond what we could have imagined. The resort itself and having all our guests stay on site in cabins was the best decision we could have made in the planning of our wedding. I absolutely could not recommend Dillmans’s resort more highly for a wedding, family reunion or just a quick getaway. My husband and I intend to make many trips back throughout our years together!!Anna and Ben Foley

No restaurant or any food available, have to drive into town... Why not at least rolls or breads for breakfast, or simple sandwiches available? No wifi essentially, and no cell signal... The annex was super old and smelled really old. Even though they cleaned it in front of us essentially, it still was really dingy and looked grimey. Do not recommend. Trash was overflowing for 2 days until someone finally took it out. Pretty area... The woods and water, and docks. Unfortunately no trails, but they have boats available which is nice to go in water.

Our family adores Dillman's Bay Resort! The gorgeous Northwoods setting, the gracious hospitality of the hosts, the playful resort dogs, the haunting call of the loons, the heavenly sunsets, and so much more than I can detail here all combine to make Dillman's a little slice of paradise on earth! We started coming here as a family in 2010, and our daughter was just married here, so it's been a part of our family for a long time. We heartily recommend Dillman's as a vacation retreat, a wedding setting, and a respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Thank you, Dillman's, for being something we look forward to every year!

Very nice resort. Beautiful lake. Only negative is that the resort staff had know knowledge of fishing conditions on the lake. No help at all. Otherwise a great place to chill.

My sister and I went to the last Powwow in Lac Da Flambeau and had the pleasure of staying at Dillman's and oh what a wonderful time we had. It was a fun and beautiful place and we will continue to vacation here on our sister weekend vacations and family vacations. I will recommend Dillman's to everyone!

Desk staff is difficult to get a hold of if you arrive late. The beds in our unit were universally uncomfortable. Everyone complained about the mattresses the first morning. The condo-style unit is fairly nice though.
