I ordered a 686 jacket but it just didn't look great, so I called 88 Gear and talked to Jeff and he sent me a return label and we arranged an exchange for a Volcom jacket, straight swap, and I received it before NYE skiing! Jeff was great in talking about my options of jackets and what I wanted and I took his recommendation.

I ordered a wakeboard and then found it just a little cheaper on another site. I emailed asking if they could price match and they did! Refunded my card the next day the difference. The board came quick and I will definitely order from them again!

They shipped my vest quicker than expected. I am impatient when it comes to receiving items I buy online. Like literally checking status multiple times a day. Not an attractive quality I know :) My experience with their shipping system brought me more patience than I have had with other companies, including Amazon, and I am a Prime member. Their system sent me an appropriate amount of updates through email. Even when my item was out for delivery I received an email from 88 letting my know. If a company is this caring and thoughtful during the shipping process, it shows they care everywhere. You have a repeat customer!

The 88 Gear staff went above and beyond for me. I purchased a new old inventory wakeboard here and absolutely loved it. The board unfortunately started to de laminate after abt 6 months of use and failed. I honestly did not immediately contact anyone because I figured it is what it is, I bought an older deck and it failed. I didn’t believe that It was anyone’s fault and didn’t expect to warranty a 3 year old model that I picked up on a discount. I’m not one to ever expect of look for a handout. To my surprise, I called them up and they immediately took care of me. They contacted the manufacturer, kept me in the loop, and eventually sent me a brand new board of equal or better value. Super gracious to see that there’s companies out there willing to listen, trust, and help. Even if it wouldn’t have been replaced - I was super happy w their effort and communication.Thnx guys!

Amazing ordering experience! I live in Idaho and searched everywhere for a specific jacket that I wanted, and happened to find it online with 88 Gear. I ordered my jacket on Dec 30th (before the holiday) and my jacket was shipped and delivered by the following Tuesday! I also received a personalized email thanking me for my business which is so rare these days, but this kind of personalization makes a big impact and shows how much they truly value their customers. Ordered a wakeboard rope from another (big name) supplier and after 2.5 weeks, they still hadn't even processed the order, even with 2 phone calls asking where it was. Second phone call was with a very snotty customer service rep.So we started looking for another supplier. Found 88 Gear by a Google search and they had the rope, processed the order right away, and had the rope in our hands in less than a week. Just bought a new wakesurf board online and had it delivered to Austin, TX. Not only did 88 gear have the best price, but they also had phenomenal customer service.
