Always a great stock of product. I appreciate not having to wait in line for extended periods of time. Staff is usually friendly as well as knowledgeable. I would like immediate savings as opposed to, Mail in rebates however!!

Great Menards and is what you would expect. Well stocked with all hardware needs, with some grocery needs and the like.The staff is good at this location with friendly cashiers that get you in and out quick. Highly recommend!

My "go-to" store for home improvements. I really like that they recently added exact product location to their app, including the aisle number and the section of the aisle. It makes it so much easier to find specific items.

2 weeks ago I bought 10 bags cedar mulch. I was unable to use it until today. I ran out of mulch went back and bought five more bags and I got them home and they were a different brand whole different color whole different texture. When I called and told them the brand I needed they told me to call Onalaska and check to see if they had it. I asked if they could call and ask them and then I will load my car and take it back and they refused. What kind of customer service isThat? I would like to add that I purchased a lot of landscaping scalloped edging almost $300 of material. I really expect better service when we get all of our material at Menards and they can't be accommodating. Again customer service is lacking. Can I get any help here so my mulch matches what I previously bought?

They are always very helpful. I was overcharged when there last time. I sent them an email and the overcharge was credited to my credit card without me having to make a trip back to the store. Well done!!

The worst store. I will NEVER set foot in a Menards again. God forbid a single associate knows where anything is or even is remotely helpful. Awful!!! Why can't there be a Home Depot in La Crosse??? Not a single associate knows where anything is. Not one. Good job store management. Horrible.

Stopped by to look for some self-adhesive carpet shield and older guy in paint department pointed me to carpet drops. Nope, not what I was looking for. He pointed me to Matt in the CARPET department and he told me those do not exist and he’s never heard of it. I described to him it comes in a roll and is a thin film like cling wrap with adhesive on one side. Dude looked at me like I was nuts. He pointed me to the “moving” in furniture department 🤦🏻‍♂️.Called my brother and cousin who’s more familiar with this product and have bought it numerous times. They were 120% sure it was in the Carpet department. Searched a little more and found it in the CARPET department. Where Matt works. Super helpful Matt in Carpet.

I don't feel that the store is very welcoming to customers. From the odd turn-style entrance to the exit at the other end of the store it feels a bit like being herded. Selection is good but prices tend to be a bit high. I do like their holiday stuff though!

It's absolutely amazing. Great products for cheep. Like the little as seen on TV things they have as well. They got a lot of helpful people who know where things are. I go there all the time and almost always find what I need on my own but when I can't someone is always there to help. Great store.

I took my grandmother to Menards to shop for some furniture. She looked online beforehand and picked out what she liked, just wanted to test it. We headed to the furniture section and looked around, when she found what she wanted I went and looked for an associate. It took a bit of walking around but I did find someone and she said she would send someone over. The boy that came over had no idea what he was doing and he eventually called someone else over. They kept giving us the run around about whether or not they were in stock. We mentioned that the website said they had multiples in stock and then suddenly they found some. We asked about delivery and they directed us to the corner of the store, which was fine. All of that was tolerable until it came time for the rugs. The sale included a 5x7 rug for every piece of furniture you bought, we got three. The rugs were piled on the floor, we flipped through them and found what we wanted. At first the associate was there to help but when I turned out he was gone. We waited for a while for him to come back and he never did. I looked around for an associate and eventually got tired of waiting and went through it myself. I was struggling to flip rugs over to get to the ones I want and there were two workers that passed by me and never offered to help. Everything from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out was terrible, unprofessional and not at all what we expected. I understand staffing shortages but we had someone to help and he walked away while we were picking out rugs. I did find someone to help me with the last rug and he was angry, rude and making passive aggressive comments to me about it. I tried explaining that there was no one to help me, we couldn’t find anyone and we couldn’t just sit around until someone showed up. Even when checking out the girl was nice but when we had a question she said “I’m only 16, I don’t know anything.” It was a very bad experience and needless to say we won’t be back.

Has to be the worst organized store I've been to. Nobody know where anything is not even the employees. Ended up just going someplace else after an hour.Edit: bought some lumber from them and it's not straight, turns out I am SOL because of the fine print.

Today a 3 star review. Asked for help and a very sharped toned clerk tursly answered my question. Asked someone else and was told it's by the service desk. Finally found it myself. The cashier was very nice and polite which kinda saved my attitude.

Update 6/22: The staff they have really will go above and beyond to help you get what you need.Whatever project you are tackling, they have the tools and material you need. The staff is fairly knowledgeable and always helpful. I have found then to have a better selection than the Depot for most of my projects.

Sick of the bad service at lang drivw store today. Came to return 2 items left receipt with cashier & went to get items out of car. When I returned the clerk was gone to lunch & my receipt was gone as well. Now MY TIME is being wasted looking for the receipt & customer service Lydia was being all mouthy yet she is clueless as to why I am becoming more agitated by her mouth.

Went and bought a dishwasher the part about buying the dishwasher was easy but I needed to rent a truck and that my friends is quite time consuming, all for 25 minutes of work. I felt sorry for the woman at the desk as she was alone and that paperwork took long as people were waiting behind me. The bad on my part was it was New Year's Day so maybe they had a skeleton crew.

I was there trying to buy lattice for my deck. Walked the store looking around for almost 45 minutes. I stopped and asked a gentleman for help. He was very wonderful and helpful! We were in the back of the store as he was ringing me up when a woman by the name of REBECCA walked up and asked me where my mask was. I explained I did not have one. She said it is the store policy and I would have to go to the front of the store and buy one in order to buy my items. I was unaware of this policy. I explained to her that I was paying and would be on my way. She said they would not sell me anything without a mask. I am appalled!! So she wanted me to walk all the way across the store to the front, buy a mask, and then she would allow me to buy my items!! I had to give it 1 star to leave a review otherwise it would be 0 STARS! Will never go there ever again.

Good prices, friendly people. And they have lots of stuff. It's bad though, I go in for a couple of things and leave with a full cart usually. Now bigger and although they have more stuff it's harder to find things. Still the best of the big box home improvement stores.

Found everything I needed, although I should of went back in to get help to put my shelves etc into my van. I did not.An employee outside seen me struggling and came to help me. My only concern was he smelled of alcohol, but he did successfully help me get my merchandise loaded into my van.

Staff is usually very helpful. Large selection of just about anything you could ever need to complete a project at your home - even up to building a new one! We installed our own hardwood hickory floor using materials and tools from this store and it turned out beautifully.

So I was at Menards today on North side, trying to find something that would cut a pipe. While in the isle I was testing to see if any of their tools might do the job. It was while I was seeing if any of their poor quality tools (Tool Shop) would do the trick when some store employee named KYLE came up asking me what I was doing. I explained to him I was testing to see if the tools might do the job.It was at that point he started harassing me and told me that I had to buy the tool he caught me testing.I told him no it didn't work and I refused to buy it. So menacing and taunting was he, I decided to leave the store.He literally followed me out of the store as he continued to yell at me and tell me I had to buy his company's worthless tool.Given what I've just experienced today I will never be going to a Menards again.I know I'm not some contractor who spends thousands, but I am a customer just the same and feel I too deserve the same dignity as anyone who walks through the doors of a Menards. But I guess you have to be an elite contractor receive quality service anymore.

I needed 2 new under-the-kitchen-sink plumbing parts. The attendant went with me to get them & he explained WHY to use the 'extra- exchange' washers. Very helpful -- only took about 3 MINUTES to get everything!!!

It had been awhile since I was in Menards so when I went in right away I was confused and I asked the two employees where to find a hose for my shower head and the one gentleman said he would show me, but I said just point me in the right direction and I'll go find it and he gave me good directions so off I went on a new adventure!!! Since I also needed a few other things I got to plumbing and another employee showed me right what I needed!!!! Then it was off to the races, picked up some cleaning supplies and from there it really was an adventure!! Just checking out the rest of the store and added things to my list that I probably didn't need right away!! But I was impressed with the new things that were available, like I thought I would have to stop at another store for orange juice, but they carry an abundance of grocery item's now!! Too much to talk about now, you'll have to see for yourself!!! Everything was moved around since I had been there but everything was convenient to find!! Plus they were having a 11% off everything in the store!! I definitely had a great time and everyone was very helpful!!! I would recommend Menards to anyone wanting a one stop kind of store!! Oh they still carry all the good things that were available before!!!

The people that work in the paint department (in La Crosse) act as if the customers are only a problem to them. They don’t ask if they can help you, or even acknowledge your presence. Even when there is no other customers. If they see someone they literally go hide in some dark isle. It’s terrible customer service. They just don’t want to help customers.
