We bring our two dogs here for daycare and boarding and we LOVE it! We have a Great Dane and a small mixed breed. They are so compassionate towards all their dogs! I also love the adorable pictures they take of them!

We take our Esther and Ellie here and have been for over 2 years now. Dee and Heather are some of the nicest people and males sure their staff takes car of our babies.

My buddy Raves about this place. Doesn't smell. Wonderful crew & they post pix every day on Facebook. Tightly run ship! It's awesome!

My 3 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels love going to doggy daycare here! They have went a few times, we have also brought them for grooming with excellent results! The staff is friendly, they regularly post pictures on Facebook and they also give report cards for what your dog did all day and who it hung around most. The groomers are faster than anywhere I have went before but the quality is much better, I feel that my dogs are safe here and this is the only place I would take them.

We have been here.many times for day care to run off some energy from our Labradoodle. They also give excellent haircuts for doodles and we have done boarding a few times as well. No complaints! Great atmosphere and workers are always happy and helpful!

I took my two doodles here last week for their assessments and both of them are very nervous dogs. The staff didn’t hesitate to give them a chance and see how they do. They are slowly warming up to daycare! Definitely recommend bringing your dog here!

Our dog Skye was very well cared for while we took a cruise. She had an infected toe and they took her to our vet for care. Skye loved playing with the other dogs and the hose. This was the first time we boarded her and we’re very pleasantly surprised. It was so good to know she was having fun while we were away.

Wish we would have done more research before choosing this boarder. We were new to town so picked the first place that popped up on google. It is run essentially like a dog park that requires vaccinations. They split dogs based on size but not by any other criteria as far as i’m aware (temperament, play style, etc). The play yard isn’t tiny but when you have 20-30 dogs in this confined space there’s bound to be an issue from time to time. I do not think the staff has had any formal training (they don’t mention anything on their website that I can find). This was evident when my dog had an unexpected seizure once and the owner called me expressing concern because his seizure scared the staff. I explained he had one years ago but never has once since and wasn’t on medicine for them so it was not determined to be a chronic condition for him by my vet. They wouldn’t allow him to come back until my vet called them to say he was healthy to be there (as well as tell them how to handle seizures in dogs). Once we were cleared to return we were greeted with “oh it’s seizure dog!” a few times which I thought was rude and unprofessional.Aside from the seizure incident, we were cancelled as customers because my dog did not get along with a particular dog there. They warned us the first time it happened and we understood because our dog can be annoying. However, our next visit the same dog was there and they allowed them to be in the same play yard (and didn’t inform us that this dog was booked same time so could make other arrangements). Needless to say my dog got worked up again (no dog or person was harmed) and we were told to come get him and to not bring this dog back (happy to accept our other more easy going dog though). We were on our way out of town, had to turn around to get the dogs, as well as were charged for the half day they were there. The amount of money wasn’t significant but their lack of empathy coupled with “that’ll be $46” after calling our dog a bully was completely tactless. If you have a very easy, healthy dog this might be the place for you. However, if your dog as any minor issues I would go somewhere with a more highly trained staff with structured playtime. My dog hasn’t had issues any other facility and I believe it’s due to the dog parkPlay model vs structured play times with trained staff that he’s used to.

We had been taking our dog to another groomer for the last few years and were convinced our dog was scared of getting a haircut, to the point where he didn’t want to go into the building much less go back with the groomer. This made sense as he’s terrified of anything that makes a buzzing noise at home so we thought nothing of it. After seeing a very concerning review of the place we took him, we decided to take him elsewhere and found wags and whiskers! The first time, as usual he was nervous and didn’t want to go back with the groomer, which once again we considered normal as that was just how he acted when he was nervous. Today was his second time at wags and whiskers for grooming. He didn’t think twice when the lady at the desk took him back. He looked excited to get back there! It’s very clear the experience for him at the old place was completely different. I wish we made the switch sooner!

We love Wags and Whiskers and so does our dog! We mostly enjoy being able to buy daycare packages and just dropping off our dog whenever. Grooming is great too! Just have to book in advance because they're busy!

Extremely dissatisfied, and disappointed in this business. We have been taking our Staffordshire terrier here for two years to be groomed. Never once had any issues. Tried to schedule an appointment recently and they told us they do not accept “pit bull breeds” due to insurance and we’re “unsure” who has been taking him for the last TWO YEARS… hm interesting because everyone knew him when he walked in the door. I understand the insurance policy, but to blatantly lie and claim you do not know who has been allowing him to come is bs. Be transparent. I am sick of the discrimination against pit bull breeds. He is the kindest, smartest and loving dog I have ever owned. Shame on this business.

We recently adopted 2 rescue pets and after a month we decided to try out a daycare and grooming. The initial visit is an "Assessment Day" so they can be sure the dogs are right for their facility. We had no idea how the dogs would react to other dogs. We walked into Wags and Whiskers and the staff was great. They took Henry and Princess off to the play area and almost immediately they both started to run around and play with the other dogs. We were given a tour of the facility, which was extremely clean and well organized. They then sent us home and told us they would call when it was time to pick them up. A few hours later the groomer called to ask about the grooming and later in the afternoon they called to say the dogs were ready for pickup. Princess and Henry looked great, they were clean, well groomed and socialized great with the other dogs. We were very impressed with everyone! Now we can take them to daycare or boarding and not worry about them!

Great facility that actually takes great care in the well being of the dogs in their care, the cleanliness of the facility, the number of employees, and it shows. I won't go anywhere else!

We are thrilled with the high quality of care our Rusty gets at Wags and Whiskers !! He loves going and we love knowing that he will have a fun day! The facility is very clean, and the staff does a great job of watching the pups and caring for them. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. They do a beautiful job of grooming him too.

Absolutely in love with this place. I can watch my dog through a large window. VERY reassuring on his assessment day. The dog handler seemed to know and understand dogs. my dog who is slightly shy and easily scared was comfortable immediately. I thought his tail wold wag right off. Not overly rigid in areas of drop off etc., and yet healthy approaches in the areas important to me and my pet.

Dee and the rest of the staff at Wags and Whiskers Pet Resort are just awesome! Our puppies LOVE going to their facility, which is very clean (state of the art astro-turf outside), safe, and well staffed. They also have a cute boutique with lots of cute gifts, dog outfits, and LOTS of homemade healthy treats! My only wish is that they were open a little later than 6 pm, but a little birdie told me they are considering it!

I was recently extremely disappointed with my dog stay here. Long story short we boarded our bulldog there for 8 days recently. When I picked her up she had lost 6 pounds, had a UTI and got pneumonia. I will add that she is an 11 1/2-year-old bulldog and had never been boarded before so certainly I would imagine her lack of experience and her old age weighed into that result. However a few things that stick out: 1 this resort currently does not pick up and drop off on weekends so you’ll likely have to board your dog extra days. 2 my dog is on an allergy medicine that they thought was Benadryl because our dog was sleeping so much they decided to take her off the allergy medicine without asking. And finally when I brought all this up to the owner over the weekend (after I had incurred $400 in medical costs) she just got defensive at the insinuation that our dog got sick at her establishment, had absolute no empathy and didn’t even consider relieving us of some of the cost to stay there (although getting money back wasn't my goal, I did think it was fair to ask). My intention is not to be spiteful here and I rarely post Google reviews, I just think it’s important for others to know- particularly if you have an older dog. I’ve heard good things about this place from others but unfortunately for us we had an extremely bad experience.

We can’t say enough positive things about the love and care our Golden receives at Wags!! (That includes the groomers )Our dog LOVES going there, can’t control her when we pull up, she races in the door! They give you a cute “report card” at end of day. And they sell neat, useful dog items in the shop also. We highly recommend them!!

After miscommunication was resolved with knowing our Boxer was able to come to Wags and Whiskers, her stay today was great! She had a fun time socializing and playing all day. Thank you Heather for reaching out to me to clear things up, much appreciated! Ahsoka will definitely be back to play and stay!
