I recently had the pleasure of visiting il Bar Coffeehouse & Bistro, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish.As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the warm ambiance of the bistro. I visited the coffeehouse a few days ago, it was an absolute great experience! The owners were there greeting everyone and making sure everyone was doing well and enjoying their food. All the staff was so friendly and seemed to genuinely love working there and they even offered to help me with my items to the car since I had my daughter with me. And as far as food goes I got a breakfast burrito, one for me and my fiancé and we both loved it! I will definitely be visiting again. I unfortunately forgot to take a picture of my burrito, for being too busy eating but the presentation of it was great as well. We also both had a mocha coffee which was good as well.Kid-friendliness: I saw plenty of families with kids of all ages.

Cute coffeehouse with brunch menu! Visited on a busy Sunday morning, staff and owner were a delight to interact with, clearly a great work environment. Festive decorations and low-key holiday music topped off this 5⭐ experience. I will be back and bringing friends to try the seasonal hot chocolate flights.Pictured is the Verde Ovo Toast and a large brown sugar cinnamon latte, both were delicious!

These people know coffee! We decided to drive about an hour out of our way to check this place out, and we were SO glad we did! The service was wonderful and so friendly, the atmosphere was aesthetic and inviting, and the food was great! Our barista was knowledgeable about the different coffee choices, and gave wonderful recommendations.We decided to try their coffee flight and we were in love with the thoughtful mix of flavor profiles presented. They chose flavor combinations that were unique, well-balanced, and really excentuated the notes of the coffee. We really enjoyed it! It was one of our favorite coffee experiences!! Definitely worth visiting!Kid-friendliness: They have a cute kids table with a play coffee maker and cups, coloring books, and some games! My toddler loved it!

I love this coffee house. I live in Appleton, and there's a lot of options there...but I drive out of my way to come here because the coffee is delicious. The pastries are also phenomenal. I have not had their other food yet. I really enjoy that there is such a big coffee menu with seasonal drinks, as well as a rotating coffee flight. (I loooovveee the coffee flights. That is what originally enticed me to come in). The atmosphere is cute and my boyfriend also enjoys the vibes that this place offers compared to other shops. The additional seating is nice and I am constantly coming here every Sunday I am not in indiana. I'll definitely be sharing this coffee house with others. Also, the owner and the staff is always super nice every time I've come in.Edit: to put it in another way, my boyfriend and I planned to come here another Sunday not realizing they weren't open, and when we got there we went "now what?! Our day is ruined!" (Jokingly) We knew there were like 6 other coffee shop options but we REALLY wanted that il Coffee ;)

The food is amazing! The owners are really great people.One complaint I would make is they are not accommodating when it comes to ordering for pick up. Online or via their app. Do not call in your order. Both ordering options are clunky.

The owners and their staff are very friendly. I LOVE how unique the sweet treats are! They are not super sweet which is excellent and they make me feel very classy. The atmosphere is delightful.They have a cute little kid courner. It's not big but it is a little something to hopefully engage the Littles so one can enjoy a beverage in peace.Kid-friendliness: They have a little area for kiddos to color and pretend play as well as a little activity box for infants.

EVER.Stop whatever you are doing right now, and run here!What really sets this place apart was the flights of coffee they offer.We got the fall flight, which is perfect if you want a taste of everything. Amazingly good flavors!We also got panini for lunch which was incredible, so I have no doubt the rest of the food would be phenomenal as well.Such a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.They have board games, table games, and cards which is really fun!The wait for coffee was not long, considering the craft and masterful skills they put into each and every customers order.The owner Cal and his wife were around bussing tables, handing out menus, working in the kitchen etc, which is refreshing to see such hard work and dedication into their business. Spoke with Cal, for a brief moment and he was very appreciative of our business and such a nice guy!Highly recommend making this place your new go-to for coffee, brunch, lunch or just to hang out! We will absolutely be back!

Im a very picky person to start off with. I love coffee but not the strong coffee taste. All of them remember it and when it comes to new signature drinks ill ask about the drinks and they will let me know. And picky on my food and they have that down to a T. And now for the staff... They are beyond amazing. Friendly,knowledgeable, and very helpful.We are in as much as we can. And when my son started in the military both Kell & Monica were right there to help me get through the toughest times and still asks about him. The staff even asks you how you are doing and truly care.Vegetarian options: They have options. I needed gf and they have it.Dietary restrictions: Very happy to make sure they serve all dietary needs as they can.Parking: Parking on street and parking lot. If you park in parking lot you can use the door on side of building and follow the signs to coffeehouse.Kid-friendliness: They have an area for kids to play n have drinks for children alsoWheelchair accessibility: Easy access in doors and plenty of space to move around with a walker,wheelchair, stroller. They also have a button by the outside door if you need help.

Between my 6yr old & I, I ended up spending about $40 including $2 tip. The food & drinks were amazing, I’d love to come back again, but being a first time customer I felt lost & unwelcomed. The 4 girls that were working didn’t seem very friendly nor welcoming, two of them actually came off annoyed with me being a new customer & the couple questions that I had. I feel like I could’ve had a way better experience if the staff were more friendly, smiling, welcoming, & shared a bit about the cafe such as self serve water, salt pepper, plastic ware, and so on. Next time I return I hope to have a better atmosphere when I walk in, because like I said, I really did enjoy the food/drinks. The customer service just needs a little push! Owner of establishment is an entitled brat who feels that saying sorry twice for horrible service (which doesn’t mean annything) and lousy wait staff that can’t even keep track of a slip for 2 bagels. She feels that’s it’s okay to harass and demean PAYING customers for simply giving feedback. Not once did the owner state she would give a refund. She said and I quote “I will give you a store credit” a store credit of 5 dollars that does not even make up for the 7 dollar bagel that took apparently an hour to make, but had time to sit down at the counter and eat food herself but couldn’t allow paying customers to eat. Shame on the owner for ever thinking that talking to customers like that is okay and yes I did leave the lousy 5 dollar store credit because if I want a mediocre bagel and coffee I’ll go anywhere else and likely get way better service than what I witnessed today. Do better. And learn to take criticism with honor and dignity not judgement and hatefulness. Bad reviews will come your way especially if you feel this is the way to treat customers. Have the day you deserve. And don’t bother responding. You already sent out one disappointing but not surprising response today, that one was enough.

Owners are the best humans. The coffee is excellent, they put a TON of effort into finding good beans!!! The staff is friendly and the vibe is great!!! They have a lot of seating in the coffee shop and extra seating. The extra seating room is so cute and always quiet!!! There is always vibey music and warm lighting!!! So overall, great place, great people, GREAT COFFEE!!!
