Ace hardware always has the feel of the hardware stores of old, the shelves packed with useful tools, fasteners, chainsaws... pretty much every guy's dream. I stopped by this particular store to buy an 8 lb wood handle splitting maul with which I planed to reduce a pile of assorted hardwood. I found the implement I was searching for in their neatly organized wood chopping implement section. The maul worked beautifully. I was about 1.5 hours into the wood pile when I swung at a log, the head stuck, and the handle split lengthwise with a popping sound. I had not over-struck and hit the handle. The wood of the handle showed no blemishes. It was unwarranted and unexpected. I took it back to store and showed it to a knowledgeable gentleman and explained the situation. He glanced over it, noting that it had not been abused or misused in the two days since I made my purchase, and said that they would warranty it for me. I don't know if it is their policy to warranty stuff, but they did anyway. Chalked it up as a manufacturing defect. They were nice and professional and generous about it all.

I love this store!What I have found with the big-box stores over the last few years is there is a lack of help and "good" advice available.Tennis Ace Hardware has never steered me wrong and they always have what I need, and wow! They have stuff!Their prices might be (not always) slightly higher but the sheer convenience of small parking, and a short walk in, a quick find of what I'm looking for, and I'm out of the store saves me a great deal of time.

Drove 30 minutes to go get a part for my snow blower and the website and google business said they were open and I get there and they are closed early due to the packer game.. not shopping there again I’ll go somewhere else!

Normally I shop downtown Tennies. (West Bend) I was in Kewaskum and I needed a bag of pellets for my Weber Smoke Fire. I know the Weber Smoker is not as popular as the Traegers. I was pleasantly surprised to see this Tennies location actually carried my Weber pellets as well. The store was very clean and like all hardware stores. They carry lots of products for a smaller local hardware store. Associates were very happy to assist. We have a bonus of having a great Ace Hardware locations in the West Bend area.

Just left there and didn't spend very much, but the gentleman and young lady who helped me thanked me for shopping local, because he likes his job and knows I have many other choices. This is why you shop local. Good job!

Went in to grab a large basement broom and 1 other thing. I use a walking stick and being I was only going to grab 2 things I didn't take a cart 😒. The line was long but they called for more checkout people to come 😉 so it was all good! Place very organized if you read the signs. Nice and clean, even the bathrooms. Shopping locally.

If it wasn't for being convenient, I wouldn't go there. The cashier always sits on a stool & you feel that your bothering her by purchasing something. The Manager/Owner never says hello or smiles. If they do not know you personally, you feel as though you are not worth the work. Thank goodness the last associate helped me. That's a plus.

I go here for a few different reasons. First and foremost I support local as do my patrons. For the pennies more then most, a local business and all who work there. Why give it to a corporation when you can support those who support you. Great selection, great service, might have something to do with the other reason we go there. Traditions Pub supports local you should too.

Rented a lawn aerator for 4 hours for $40. The rental process was easy and the guy behind the desk was very helpful. The lawn service we use was going to charge $430 to aerate and seed the lawn.

Selection is just OK at this store. I have found they have gaps in some of the departments in what they carry. For basic things ive been ableto find what I need, but more than a few times ive had to keep driving south to either the West Bend Tennies or the big box stores. The owner, Todd, can be a bit standoffish at times, sometimes he seems slightly annoyed when you ask questions. This local store tends to not be my first stop, which is unfortunate. Ive been gravitating to the Campbellsport True Value, or like mentioned before, head to West Bend.

We reached out to tennis Ace Hardware due to my mother's garbage disposal giving up its ghost. The staff was very friendly and we're able to answer all of our questions and they were able to give us all product we needed to make that a successful operation. They were awesome.

When a employee tells you that he won't walk to the other side of the store to check for stock on something related to size, that your having a hard time finding; then when you ask for a manager and he says he is, your probably better going somewhere else. Small Town store, Metro City attitude.... Where have we gone wrong in the world? How are we supposed to support small business if they don't support us??

Mixed bag. Some odd inventory. You could buy some knobs for your sink that look nice and new, or you could also buy the yellowed ones that have clearly been there for 10+ years on the shelf. Quite odd. However, over all you can find what you need and some unique items. The owner is rather odd, but helpful. Ace over all needs a face lift as a brand. If you wanted to take a trip back in time, shop at Ace.

Got sick of Fleet always being out of stock on 3/4 of their inventory. Shelves are always stocked here and knowledgeable employees who always seem happy to help and answer questions.

Prices are slightly high but you can usually find a wacky gadget or item here. Indifference in the employees and management is my biggest complaint. It seems they hold a, "well, you're free to drive to Menards or Home Depot if you want" attitude about any question asked of them.Convenience of being in Kewaskum is their biggest strength.

The head person there is a Tennie. We tryed to get information from him about a quick shade type tent. He would not open the box so we could see the color of the top and maybe the instruction manual. I asked if we bought it and had it at home and did not like the color or the type of material it is could we return it. After all this is $169.00 item He said No. All he would do is refure to pictures on the box. He was very short with us and very confrontational. In my opinion this person has no business being in charge of this store.

I was alarmed when I walked in the door to see a half dozen folks crowded around the checkout desk not observing social distancing. And, there were two people at the checkout with our masks who were coughing and sniffling, wiping their noses, etc.. I hung back for a bit and then skirted the traffic toward the back of the store. Most alarming of all was that the store owner/manager, Todd Tennies was not wearing a mask. I would expect that he would set an example and also provide some support to his cashiers in managing social distancing. I will not be coming back unless I can do a curbside pick up.

What you can always count on from a small town hardware place, super helpful, knowledgeable (have walked in there with a random part from my husband countless times and they can always find it!) and friendly. Love this place!

Very dis-satisfied, the management falsely accused me of shoplifting.Very disappointed, especially considering I been a patron of this establishment for 10 years or more. I thought maybe I would've gotten an apology after the cop they called released me with no tickets or anything because I Had NOT Stolen a Thing, but it was not to be.

Terrible service young staff standing around talking about lunch , ask questions the main answer is I don't know, the owner is not very nice. Terrible customer service wish they had competition In town . There was a nice older guy never see him anymore??
