We are putting our 8 year old chocolate lab down today after a battle with cancer and a rear leg amputation. We wanted to give him one last swim and the team was so catering to our situation and even got partially into the pool with him to make sure he could walk up the ramp when coming out of the pool. As a business owner myself, this is what customer service is all about. I will go out of my way to do business here in the future with our 3 other labs.

I’ve been bringing my dogs here for years but I will never go back after the last experience I had. My dog came back with a terrible groom-so I brought him in to get fixed…he looked wonderful! However, the next day my dog was acting very strange-acting sickly, weak, and falling asleep standing up. He was in pain lying down. Upon further review, I noticed 3 deep cuts on his privates! No one even informed me of this either! I can’t imagine it didn’t bleed. As if I wouldn’t notice? I of course contacted the owner who immediately copped an attitude. He did say he would refund me my money, however to me it’s not about the money… it’s about the well being of my dog-Adam needs to learn that a little bit of empathy goes a long way. But Adam was more interested in defending his horrible groomer than my dog who was suffering. I told him he can keep his money (which he did, I never did receive a refund) but I’ll never go back and I’d caution anyone else who went as well.

Nikky came home beautified and so soft and smelling wonderful. This was the best place for Nikky my 2 year old Pomeranian. I will definitely be back with him and will probably go into some training with him. I've taken him to a class where there were at least 10 dogs and with the yipping of the tiny puppy sitting next to me. I couldn't hear or understand the trainer. Then we went back as one on one and that wasn't the greatest experiment either.

This was our first visit and it was great! We brought our dog Kali to burn some energy in the pool. Everyone was very nice and accommodating and Kali left happy and tired. The facility was clean and well set-up. I am very excited for our next swim!

I drive quite a distance to go to Clever K9 for the quality of service and their respect that they give your animals, it’s well worth it. They have a great crew, and the dogs always seem to be happy when they get to go there.

Lots of brands of food. We were looking for a harness, and they no longer sell leads or harnesses. I used to get some very nice collars and leashes years back. Miss that.

I have been going to Clever for over 10 years. I have taken a variety of classes and done their agility ring rentals. I frequently recommend their training classes to friends as well. Very nice place, nice equipment and mats. Owner is great :)

We have used Clever K9s services in the past, but will never return do to some unfortunate circumstances we encountered.1. We boarded our black lab for a weekend. When we returned to pick her up one of the employees went back to get her, and forgot to bring up Jersey’s personal blanket we left with her for comfort. We asked the employee if she could go back to retrieve her blanket for us. The employee went to get the blanket that she had put inside a plastic bag. When I got home and took the blanket out of the bag it was soaked with urine. Not just a little urine… it was dripping in urine, so much urine you could actually ring it out. This makes me question if Jersey was ever let out of her cage at all??? Also, did the employee “forget “to bring Jersey’s blanket up because she was aware of this??? I believe this to be the case. After that I would never bring Jersey in to be boarded because I felt she was neglected and not being left out to potty or for exercise. 2. I did try to give there grooming services a try. Rio’s first grooming went smoothly… the second time NOT so much. He had a cut above his eye and his paws were bleeding. When I picked him up they never mentioned that he was injured and I did not realize he was injured until I got him home. I immediately called the owner. The owner took absolutely no responsibility whatsoever. He actually blamed me and told me it was because Rio should come in more frequently for grooming. This is absurd, seeing I bring Rio in every 8 weeks for grooming services… exactly what they recommended. My poor puppy has had grooming services at other establishments every 8 weeks and there has never an issue with injuries because we have always maintained a schedule of 8 weeks, even though some of the previous groomers said we could extend the time of services out 10 weeks. It was really disheartening to me that the owner flipped the situation and blamed us.I see that you responded back to me claiming I was not in your records, this is incorrect…I no longer go by my married name, but yes Rio and Jersey should definitely be in your system.

1st Day visiting Clever K9s and I was greeted very warmly upon entering. I had an appointment for my newly adopted cat, Ash, for his front and rear claws to be clipped. I met Rain who exuded such confidence and answered all my question while assuring me all would be well. A few minutes later, Ash was back out front and back claws clipped. Fears arrested and now we will be known as "regulars" thanks to the excellent care given today! I am thrilled I found an excellent group of care givers first time out of the box! You, guys, ROCK! l.

I’ve had my 10 month old puppy groomed there 3 times. After the last time I called to voice my unsatisfactory service. Instead of fixing the issue. They have refused to groom my puppy again. I called for an appointment and was told I was blocked for any appointments there. Perhaps they should take the customer input to resolve the issue. I will certainly let my friends and family that referred me there know.

Adam and the gang at Clever at K9s are absolutely amazing! Prices are reasonable and they do not breed discriminate (everyone else in this area does)! Our girl goes twice a week to daycare and we have also used their boarding facility. Highly, highly recommend! Bonus, I can buy her food there too at a great price 😁

We always take our two dogs there for grooming. Takes a while to get an appointment for grooming unless you book the next one while you are there. They do a nice job and I think treat the dogs well. It's not the cheapest but not the pricest either.

Top notch daycare and boarding. Staff seem educated on dog behavior. That they have an agility/exercise floor that one can rent by the half hour is PRICELESS (and they have hydrotherapy now as well). Always a positive experience going to Clever K9s

You can tell the staff loves animals & will treat your family member like their own. Everyone is very friendly! Clever K9 has awesome open hours - so convenient for working people! We highly recommend them for boarding, grooming, & classes.UPDATE 10/12/22 Adam has added a pool for dog therapy & exercising your dog. He's always making improvements to his building. He still has a wonderful staff. I always recommend Clever K9 to my friends & people I meet with dogs. Love them!!!

I called about 2 weeks ago to try and get my dog in for daycare, and they said she would have to do an assessment which is totally fine but they said they would call me back a couple days later, and they never did so I called and they said the same thing and it’s been 3 weeks now and I still have heard nothing from them. It honestly made me a little annoyed because I’ve been looking for a place for my dog to go to, and they’re closest to where I live. It would have been nice if they would have just said they were full, or something besides just ignoring me.

Had a great experience here! It's great to have a local dog center in town. I went in just to check it out and met the owner. He was more than willing to help and share his knowledge with me. They also offer classes and have a large indoor agility area. I haven't been in the Kaukauna area long, but every interaction here has been amazing!Thank you Clever K9!

We take our two Weimaraner girls swimming at Clever K9s and always have a GREAT time! The staff is wonderful! Everyone is happy, cheerful, and very helpful!!! Check in always goes well and the pool area is always pristinely clean and ready to go! Love that there is a rinse off area and dryer available especially with the cold weather. The matting on the ramp and main deck is wonderful and makes it super easy and safe for our girls to get in and out of the pool They also have a separate exit which makes leaving with two excited and tired Weims a breeze! The girls and I highly recommend Clever K9s!!!

The team at Clever K9s has been amazing to work with. Our puppy has been enjoying day trips, training, grooming and treats there for over a year now. Busy place though. May not always have a room at the Inn.

My dogs love going to spend time here!! We use them for grooming, daycare, boarding and training and have never experienced any issues. They have an outdoor play area and in the summer my lab loves hanging out in the pool! The trainers have been very patient and understanding every time I bring a new foster dog to class for confidence building.

I love dogs, okay? I love other people's dogs. So this is just a warning:My dog, Sandy, is a very hyperactive dog. He's also a loyal dog, who loves his peoples to death. He will do anything for me and my family.Including being very upset when we dropped him off.Now, granted we took him a few years ago, so this may have changed, but I don't know. All I know is that my family was in Minnesota for the weekend and we got a call from Clever K9's, telling us that our dog wouldn't calm down. He would whine, cry, bark...When my brother who wasn't with us stopped by, the guy apparently told him that our dog isn't welcome there anymore. He handed my brother a piece of paper with an "in-home doggy daycare center" thing on it.Oh, and another time, my dog came home with very bloody paws. This was before they kicked us out... i don't think they meant to harm him, but still...The food is expensive, the area is small, and it's not the greatest. Sorry to disappoint.

The staff is always so helpful here. If you're not from Kaukauna or nearby, it is a site worth a bit of a trip to have your animals cared for, groomed, or trained. Extremely happy to have them available as a retailer with quality products, but also as a resource for pet questions.

I love Clever K9s. The team is great and my dog loves it. Love doesn't quite cover his mad crush on this place.Clever K9s has a great selection of foods treats and toys at very competitive prices.Grooming services are top notch and in high demand so plan well in advance.They have a fantastic loyalty program that allows you to earn points on every dollar spent. These can be redeemed for just about any product or service. A great way to reward pet parents!
