Dr. Koeppen and the entire staff are very caring, helpful and professional. The front desk staff was great to work with and made sure all of our questions were answered. Dr. Koeppen even called a few days after treating Baylee for an injury to check up on her and provide advice. Jefferson Veterinary Clinic is by far the best vet clinic in the area.

I really like the vet, the techs and the receptionists here. Never had a negative experience. They are different from the other vet clinics I've been to in my area because they put my pets' health first, and I don't get the impression that they look at my animals and just see dollar signs. I really appreciate that. They also were able to see my dog a couple of hours after I called this morning with concerns which was amazing. Thanks for all you do!

We have been using Jefferson Vet Clinic for over 25 years. Must be a good place if we continue to use their services.Most recently we had our dog in to check on a torn acl. Dr. Griffith and Jess took care of us. Our dog liked the doc, we know because he didnt snarl at him. They explained all of our options for surgical and non surgical alternatives. Jess was great at dealing with our dog and explained the surgery estimates in detail.Pricing for visits and medications have always seemed very reasonable.Would recommend Jefferson Vet Clinic for your pets needs.

Took my cat Mocha here after taking her to another vet that couldn’t tell me what was wrong with her. Took them 15 minutes to diagnose her and get her the proper food to help her. Mocha is happier than ever, loves her prescription food and I’m happy knowing my cat feels better!Thank you to the whole team!

Recently relocated to Jefferson. Our healthy, papered, male pure bred lab studded with our families healthy, papered, female pure bred lab. Puppy 10 weeks old, needs vet. Our vet is 50 minutes away. Thinking this was an ideal time to change vets to our community vet, and where he was born and had been seen and now turned away.CAUTION: Office is no longer accepting new animals, told to call previous vet 50 minutes away.As a professional, in a director role in health care, this is the poorest customer service I could imagine. Revisiting your quality of care and customer experience for you future would be critical. The office has shown no empathy or compassion, and it is apparent you do not want to continue to build your practice.

I called about getting a month dose of Frontline flea protection but they said I would have to see the vet to get any. Ins/ead of being a $15 venture they wanted to make it a $120 venture. No Thanks I purchased 3 months worth on Ebay for $21.

Jefferson Vet clinic is great, I have grown up with them. From Dairy farm to my fur babies, they are so respectful. They truly care about our fur babies. Both the vet tech and doctor were wonderful with my 9 year old cat, easily diagnosed any issues we were having with understandable explanations for someone outside their field. Clean and sanitary appointment rooms, quick and painless service, and extremely affordable. Overall wonderful visit and I hope to be back for our check up next year!

I just want everyone to know that this vet clinic is the most compassionate, caring, awesome place. We have had to put down two of our unconditional loving family members, our dogs, in the last 6 months. This place was simply put, Awesome! Very patient and kind. Came to the house on both occasions and took there time as we said it good byes. I don't know how many times they told us "we are very sorry for your loss". Great people and great place.

My dog has his first ever good visit to the vet today. He's very apprehensive and gets aggressive when he goes to see the vet, and they did an amazing job with him. They were so gentle and loving to my pup he hardly noticed the check up. He's a sweet dog that is so scared, and it actually went so well that we didn't have to muzzle him. I haven't been able to take him in without a muzzle since he was just a puppy! (He's nearly 5) I hope we can continue to make his visits less traumatic and easier. I'm super thrilled to be with JVC.

I take my 5 cats and 2 dogs here. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I love that they offer grooming for cats otherwise I would have to drive my cat to Madison. Also, they are always conscientious of my oldest dog having bad hips and take extra care to be gentle on his hips.

Very caring staff. They get a little busy but that can't be helped when they have a fantastic and caring staff. The prices are considerably lower than many other vet services. They accept carecredit too, so if you are in a pinch and need to get some care for your furry friends and family, there are options to care for the animals that you love.

I just went to bring my cat in for a nail trim (who just had her nails trimmed 2 months ago by them) and the vet tech comes out to tell me she cannot do the trim because they don’t have proof of rabies vaccine! My cats have a different vet (Tyranena, which I highly recommend) but I have gone to Jefferson Vet Clinic for the nail trim. Instead of telling me weeks ago when I made this appointment they needed my proof of vaccination they told me at the time of the visit & then refused to trim my cats nails! I am VERY frustrated as they have never mentioned this any other time I’ve taken my cats there!

Nice vet with caring doctors and nurses. Only issue I have is with a certain receptionist at the front desk. She answers the phone in a a monotone voice and likes to put people on hold for long periods of time. Makes me want to stop coming here altogether and go elsewhere. I understand you get busy but not all the time.

No matter what, It should not take three pokes of a sedative, then two pokes of euthanasia, plus a final shot of euthanasia to the liver to put your cat to rest. She was just laying there calm on the table because she was old, weak, and hadn't been doing well. I really don't want to place blame, but this has to be said. All that I can find on euthanasia within the liver is that it has not been sufficiently studied and can't be recommended by the Humane Society of the United States as an acceptable route because questions remain on accuracy of injection, organ sensitivity to pain, and smooth induction to unconsciousness. Seriously?! My cat should have had a more fast and peaceful passing than what was given to her. It was not like what was explained beforehand by the Veterinarian or what I had ever heard/read about. It was horrible, and I was not entirely prepared for what she had to go through during her passing. At this point, I'm not sure if it would have been better or worse to let her pass on her own instead of trying to make it as swift and peaceful as possible taking her here. My cat did not have a peaceful and swift passing with Dr. Griffith. I would take your pet elsewhere for end of life treatment. I really don't want anyone to go through this, because I have even further pain than just the pain of losing my best friend, and it is unbearable. She didn't deserve this. This just wasn't right..
