Terribly ran store. Employees close whenever they want to for whatever reason. Boxes of products all over the store. Look through the reviews and you will see the trend. No response from manager or company. It seems to be a problem with all the stores on this side of town bad management. Will go to walgreens and pay the extra money atleast they will be open and clean. Unfortunately had to go back to have balloons blown up, out of helium. They are still out of helium.

This is the most poorly managed store in America. It is frequently closed, the floors are really dirty, there are boxes piled 10 feet high so as to make it hard to get at merchandise or pass another person and the shelves are often empty. The south side of Janesville is in dire need of a grocery store. If it were properly managed this place could be a gold mine.

It's always closed at times it should be open. Never know if it's closed until you show up and the aisles are always packed and you can hardly walk around. It's dirty and not a great place to shop.

There were cart full of boxes littering the store so I could not get to what I needed. Then there Wasn't anyone at the cashier's station when I walked up to pay. When the lady came up to cash me out she informed me that I could use the self checkout and that that would be better for her. I then asked to use the restroom when she took my bags away from me and purchases I bought from another store and told him that she would hold on to them.. I am dressed nicely I'm a 40 year old man I am not here to steal from these people at the dollar store peri'll restore. I feel that that is what she was saying was that I was pretty much a thief. I will never ever again shop at this store!!!!

Cashier was SUPER rude yesterday when I was there around noon. However I did meet a super nice employee who helped fill up balloons for our son's birthday. She was super nice and made up for it (thanks Marion)! Still three stars bc of the rude cashier - but this manager just needs to figure out how to clone Marion and there would be no issues 😆

It's a typical Dollar General but today when I went they left the stocking carts in the aisle and it was very difficult to get what I needed. They had to what I needed and it was obviously a good price but just rude to leave an entire aisle full of equipment.

I worked there. And loved my job. Most of the regulars are great. But a select few always seem to have an attitude. Going in there now. The workers aren't always friendly and don't need to be rude when someone asks where something is.

I love this store and since Pick n Save left the Southside it's been a go to for quick pick ups grocery wise. I just really wish the staff was friendlier and the store was cleaner. Not much room to move around in the aisles.

They charge a dollar to use your checkcard as a debit. Otherwise not too bad of prices. Terrible selection for toys. Cashiers are usually nice. It's hit and miss. The ownee needs to use concrete for the road and entrance!

Lots of products to choose from at awesome low prices. Manager is very friendly and helpful. You can usually find what you need here without having to run all the way across town to waste gas to go to walmart.

I like shopping here because they have friendly employees they remember your name they greet you when you go in and on the wzy out they help you find what you need i have seen some people be rude to the employees but they stay calm and still smile at them and say a have a nice day spme people need to get a job or keep thete problems at home and mot take it put on these nice employees keep up the good work. I onow its not easy for them putting up with some people i give them credit on how well they handel the situation

Got turned away during store hours because of a tornado warning. The warning actually stated to seek shelter. I think that's irresponsible. Won't be doing business there again. My son and I were both soaked after being denied entry.

Their supply chain needs to be fixed. They have so many products that half of the aisles are blocked with unstocked products.

Staff are all usually friendly. Easy to find things, store is laid out logically and kept up very well, and it gets busy. Worst thing is having to wait in line for half an hour sometimes.

I went here today to use the $5 off a $25 purchase as advertised and other digital coupons on my phone from dollar general app and was told they don't take coupons from the phone. When I pointed out the sign right on the,credit card machine yhat said to Teel cashier your using digital coupons she said they men the coupon that is printed on your receipt. This is so dumbIt's not the clerks fault and she showed me a flyer they had that said it. Supposedly the app is another company that is not authorized to give these coupons.i will shop where they are honored from now on

Very messy today. Many people were irritated walking through the aisles because there was so much stuff laying on the floor and stock sitting out on the floor to be put away blocking the aisles.

I just bought nutella at this location. It was expired by SIX months. I didnt look till after i bought it because when i opened the jar it looked really gross. I'm pretty disgusted by this.
