I originally thought this was from him being in a kennel and rubbing his nose but I had our vet look at this and it is clipper burn from them using the clipper on his nose. It bubbles up day of and falls off and last time it was raw and bleeding. I will not be coming back here as this has happened 3 times now. Disappointing as this should not be happening and is either someone inexperienced or just doesn’t care.

I can't say enough good things about Big Sweeties! Very nice people, extremely efficient, wonderful with my dog and did a perfect job!! She really was not in good condition and needed grooming desperately, they made her look fabulous! Already scheduled my next appointment and will be a forever customer!! Ive been to many groomers in the area and some are off putting with the cleanliness and atmosphere. Big Sweeties is always clean and welcoming, that alone is a plus!I love how these ladies treat my Pom Yoshi, he always looks great when their done with him! I always tip them because I believe the price is reasonable. They listen to what I want and make it happen, I would definitely reccomend them!

Took my dog here for the 1st time today to get her nails trimmed. Told them that I have been told she has long quicks and I felt they really listened to me about that. They were VERY friendly and my dog’s toenails are great now!! Will definitely be taking her there for future nail trims!!

Shirley and her staff always do an amazing job! If your fur baby doesn't like getting his nails trimmed visit here. I have a 160+ pound St Bernard that is a big baby and Shirley has never disappointed. She is the best!

The staff is so friendly, the prices are competitive, and they do a great job. They are very good with my senior dogs and my dogs leave happy. I've tried taking them to All Paws twice and both are good groomers but Big Sweeties blows All Paws out of the water with friendliness and happy dogs post-grooming.

Took my friend to have her dog groomed. The people were SUPER FRIENDLY. Her dog is a purebred & weighs about 3-4 pounds. She wanted a specific cut that bred usually has. Groomer said no problem.Groomer said the dog behaved well. Charge for grooming was $50.00 which I guess is standard.However, I was surprised since groomer said the dog behaved that the cut was so choppy and uneven. There were even some patches that were shaved to the skin and some that were totally missed that we cut with scissors later.Not a professional job. If you are just looking for a good clean up for your pet, I guess ok because they are SUPER FRIENDLY and seem to love animals.

Amazing first professional groom for our mini schnauzer. She looks amazing, no more mats, and was very happy! Great service!**Update**We returned several times with the mini and our schnauzer mix and had great experiences. Dogs came home happy and looking great.It seems that they’ve expanded and taken over another groomer. I made an appointment 3-weeks in advance. Arrived for the appointment and was told I was at the wrong location. “Didn’t you get a phone call?” Nope, no call. I’m told to go to the new location, given a card and ushered out. The card had the address of the original location not the new one. I called for the address and headed over. Once arriving, hard to find as it’s not properly signed, I was “greeted” by two of the rudest humans in Janesville. I explained the situation and was told “you didn’t get a call because your appointment is tomorrow, we don’t have time for you today. If you have a problem with that then call Shirley.” So I left and called and was told that my appointment was written incorrectly and I was put on the schedule for Wed and Thurs. Instead of calling to verify she just assumed it was Thursday and erased us from our planned Wednesday appointment. The employees at the new location are so rude I would NEVER leave my dogs with them. All in all I drove around for almost an hour, putting the dogs in and out of the car repeatedly and accomplished nothing other than to upset them both. She offered “free grooms” but honestly I don’t want free service I want to feel confident that when I call and make an appointment it will be recorded properly.

Melissa did a great job with our old dog, Sam. He went in scared and came out happy and wagging his tail! I appreciated the quick service and the great haircut -- Sam looks like a million bucks. We will return!!

My pups look and smell great. I wasn't sure of the cut I wanted but it wasn't an issue. Even my nervous dog went right in without issue. Both dogs were done quickly and price is very reasonable. Staff was super friendly.

Our dog was overdue for a grooming and every place I called was booking out 3 or more weeks. I happened to call Big Sweeties and they were able to get him in within a week. Bubba was a bit unsure at first but made fast friends with everyone and was so excited to stay for his appointment. When I picked him up, he was so happy and looked great! She also gave me some advice on his health issue from her experience. We are looking forward to his next appointment! Thank you to everyone at Big Sweeties!

Brought 2 dogs in for nail trimming and was done in under 20 minutes. The pit bull is always difficult at the vet but they didn’t even bat an eye. Really impressed with the work!

Great place, quick appointment. My brother in law had been sick and unable to care for his dog properly and poor Romeo was quite matted. Romeo also had a bad experience with a previous groomer, so he was quite snappy. But god bless Shirley she stuck with it and did a amazing job with a very difficult boy. And she is willing to see him again! Can't thank big sweties enough.

Google says open until 5. We showed up last week for nail trims and they were closed. Called yesterday to be sure and were told they leave at 4:30. Arrived today at 4:15 and they were closed again. They do nail trims as walk in only. Our favorite groomers are here but these hours are unreliable and impossible with our work schedules.

I brought my chihuhua in for a nail trim and was not impressed. Some of her nails were left curled into her paw or jagged. Got to the car and realized she nicked her toe pad and my dog was bleeding. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid for my dog in a grooming experience.
