I take my dogs here to get their nails trimmed. It is affordable & they do a great job! Only complaint I have is that they don't stay open for the hours that are posted (via google or their front door). They will lock up the doors 15 minutes prior to their actual closing time. I got ready, packed up, & drove my 'car-anxiety-riddled dog' there to get a 7 minute nail trim only to discover that the doors were already closed - even though I had called 30 minutes prior to ask what time they closed & was told 'in 30 minutes'. So I had to drive my nervous dog back home & unpack him only to now have to try this again this coming weekend. YES I KNOW I can avoid this by coming at an earlier time but honestly, that's besides the point. Don't tell a customer that you close in 30 minutes when you really mean 15!! But again, other then that, they really do do great work & I will be returning - but at an EARLIER time!!!

We will never go to this place. I do not typically post bad reviews or good but in this case i must to make others aware of how their pets may be neglected and mistreated. We picked our dog up after a 11 night vacation. He reeked of old urine and his fur was soaked with urine ( under belly, legs, mouth, neck, and sides) his bottom had dried on stuck poop all in his hair....When we called the facility the manager did credit us 3 days but the excuse was young staff that should have known to give him a bath before sending him home. We had to give him 3 baths to really clean the stench off of him. I had to close our house window while he was receiving his first bath outside as the smell of old urine was entering our home. We have used this facility for many years but always paid for a bath and grooming before he came home...so was this the treatment he received all those years. We had a bad experience qith his eyes the last time he had a bath there so we planned for his new groomer a few days after our return so did not schedule a bath. He was also very agitated when we or the groomer he loves went near his mouth for a few days so unsure what happened that caused the agitation..barking. stress or something else. When i asked to speak with the owner the manager was hesitant to give me her number as she said the owner lives in Vegas. The manager said her hands were tied as all the owner said she can do was give 3 days credit back to our card and 2 days a credit for another stay. We stated we will not be coming back. I did call and leave a message for the owner to call me...she never returned my call yet the voicemal did say hi this is Jackie...name of owner. So juat to know that your pup may be sitting in urine or feces but prior to pick up they might give it a bath so you are unaware. Thankfully we found a new place for our pup for when we are gone. I waited on this post til after incase my pup was the issue...nope the new place loves him and sent us pics every day...he had pool time hugs petting etc. He ate all his food, no anxiety calm never barked. Thankful for this new place that loves pet and treats them with respect and exemplar care but unfortunately my pup had to be at cedarcreek in the past and go thru this aweful experience and treatment. I was shocked with the care he received at cedar creek or lack there of and again never had or knew he was having a bad experience there but then after this i read reviews and saw that another dog 6mths ago had the same thing with their dog soaked with urine. So the excuse of new and young staff that they will correct and talk to has been an issue much longer. So pet owners and customers new and longer history here be aware things are not good for your pet.

Boarded our 9 month old puppy here and had many issues on pick up.While we were gone I had called to check in and it was “he’s doing fine” and it seemed like whoever it was that answered both times tried to get off the phone as fast as possible. I tried to ask if he was eating well and I got cut off and the call ended with “he’s fine” again. On pick up one of his toys took over 20 minutes to find, which was confusing as it should’ve been in his private kennel. The worker complained that whoever checked us in “didn’t do a good job with the log because there Isn’t a good description of the toy which is why we can’t find it.” The bedding was returned soaking wet to us. When we asked why it was wet the worker said “we forgot to put it in the dryer.” His two stuffed toys were returned wet as well and stuffed into a bag. We had to rewash everything when we got home as they had a musty smell as if it had sat wet for awhile. There was zero apologies from the worker beside the statement that they forgot to dry it and it was the others girls fault for not doing a good enough log to find the toy easier. He had severe diarrhea for 3 days post kenneling. We are sure he had to have had the diarrhea there as it was pure explosive liquid when he got just outside the building in the grass but nothing was mentioned about it. When we got home with him he had to go straight to a bath as he smelled strongly urine. He also seemed really stressed for 3 days post kenneling and took a long time coming back to his normal behavior.I am sad because he really loves doggy daycare here and we’ve always had positive experiences with them with dogs daycare and their nail trimming.

This was my 1st experience with boarding my pet. Normally, she stays with a friend. She was definitely mad at me for leaving her, but she was well taken care of.

Seems like a decent place. Boarded my 2 dogs there for 3 days over new years. I have never boarded my dogs before. They were boarded together, one of my dogs did great, the other one not so great. She was very skinny like she didn’t eat much and slept more than normal when she got home. I’m thinking one of my dogs ate the other food as I did not tell them to feed separately, but I’m not sure. They both were relatively clean but didn’t necessarily smell good. Be very specific and ask lots of questions because they don’t tell you much or really anything if you don’t ask.

I boarded my cat Trudy there for two months. She was well taken care of from her bath to giving her medicine. I would definitely go back. Two thumbs up!

We have been taking our dog Brewer, a teddy bear, to Cedar Creek pet resort for the past 2 years since he was a puppy. Andrea always does an amazing job, making sure he is groomed to our expectations. He looks great every time we pick him up! The grooming room is visible from the lobby, and you can discuss what style you want for your dog with the staff. We are very happy with the service from Cedar Creek!

Always an easy drop off and pick up when we need to leave our dog for a few days. Love the inside and out privileges our dogs has with her space. As well as the option to add additional services such as grooming or exercise.

Boarded our dog for 4 days while vacationing, last day we had her groomed. As someone who used to show in conformation and groom, I'm super picky, as I know how a Pom should be groomed and many do a poor job. But with a new baby I decided to get them a shot as I havent had time since the day before delivered except for quick brushing. We went w a short, Boo cut, and they did a wonderful job! She was very healthy and happy when we picked her up.

My 11 month old German shepherd was there for 30 minutes before getting the call that he had to be removed from the doggy day care center. When I picked him up I was informed by a worker in the front that one of the other workers in the care center over stimulated and got my dog worked up making it a unsafe place for him and the other dogs around. He did great the first 2 times going but today he was scratching at the door to get out, was whining and pretty much dragged me out of there. I'm not sure what happened from the first 2 times but I would not trust them in the care of pets if their employees do not know how to work with all types of dogs. The girls at the front desk apologized to me and even stated it was not my dogs fault. Very Disappointed.UPDATE: I was harassed on Facebook on 4/26/22 by said owner of this facility saying my dog is "problematic, aggressive and untrained" when he was a puppy at the time of visits. I did nothing to provoke this besides said I had a bad experience there and Andrea continued to comment negative things about my pet who she hasn't seen in almost a year. This proved that we made the right decision to never go back. Watch out people she might harass you if you leave a bad review!

What a terrible experience. Picked up our dog yesterday and he STUNK. We were told he would be bathed and his bed would be bathed but that did not happen. We had to bathe him before he touched anything in our home. The bed we sent with him was saturated in urine. They apologized and said the two dogs in the kennel next to our dog were, “messy,” and they didn’t have time to clean it. We had to throw the bed away as it was too soaked to even wash. It took our dog 2 days to recover from the experience he had here. He was not himself and just slept all day and night like he wasn’t able to sleep at all while boarded. The owner offered us a $40 credit for the $60 bed we threw away and the terrible experience our dog had. We will never board here again. I am so sad we didn’t do more research before exposing our dog to this type of environment. Be careful and do your homework. There are far better places to board your dog.

This was my first time boarding my two dogs and the last time because of my experience. My dogs were boarded for 8 days. I called to check on them and was told they were fine. My husband picked them up and one of my dogs fell over twice while checking out. Staff said he must be tired and that he had been fine while there. Dogs just don’t fall over for no reason. I called and talked with his main caretaker per the receptionist. She told me my dog stopped eating 2 days after he was there. She also said he vomited, seemed lethargic, and reported this to the front desk and manager. I called and talked with the manager which she said nothing was documented or noted. The manager really didn’t seem to have much to say except pointing the problem at this staff person. The next day my dog had to be hospitalized for pancreatitis and is still there today. No one from Cedar Creek has followed up with me to confirm or deny what the caretaker had said about my dog’s symptoms. It is important for my vet to have the correct information in order to treat my dog. The lack of communication between staff is concerning. I am so upset that no one called me when he starting having problems so I could get him the care he needed. I WOULD NOT recommend you board your pets here.

They are an excellent, trained group of groomers. Also provide really great care of those who spend time in their Kennels. I used their doggy play-time and my dog, who spent a week in the kennel, came back to me with the brightest smile I've seen on her, and she was so different even at home. She misses being around other dogs, and this really perked her spirit! Thanks to the whole Cedar Creek Pet Resort providers!

We have used Cedar Creek Pet Resort for at least 10 years and with two of our dogs - an English bulldog and a pug. Both dogs were well cared for especially since the pug was diabetic and needed insulin twice a day. I also appreciated the fact that the kennel was able to take our two dogs at the last minute during winter break when our house sitter had to cancel. I'm not sure the business would have done that for everyone, but I felt since I had been using them, they made the extra effort to make it work.

I have been taking my dogs to cedar creek pet resort and have been charged $38 for each bath every single time, today they decided to charge me $67 for one of my dogs. They told me after looking through their system and seeing what I’ve been charged they realized it was incorrect all along but did not bother to contact me before grooming one of them them at the much higher rate. I asked them to honor the price this one time since I was told by their company the pricing is $38. They refused even after bringing up the fact that they were charging over $100 for both dogs and they were still damp. That was the second time I picked up my dogs with them not fully dry. I have spent hundreds of dollars between getting 2 dogs groomed and taking them there for daycare yet they refused to work with me. I do not recommend this place to anyone. I still have money on my account with cedar creek pet resort but I was so displeased with them I will never go back.

I took my collie here for a grooming yesterday after bouncing around the area a bit searching for a groomer that could work with my shy/skittish rescue collie. I understand he may not be the easiest to groom, but he's my best friend and just needs a little patience on the groomer's table. The good people at Cedar Creek Pet Resort did a fabulous job in a reasonable amount of time and at a fair price. When Katie brought him out to lobby to meet me, he was prancing.I'm very happy to have found a place that understands not all dogs are outgoing and excited to be in a strange situation. For me, this is extremely reassuring. He definitely looks and smells great, but I'm even happier to know that he's in such good hands there. Highly recommended to anyone with similar concerns for their dogs.

My dog Clifford loves it here! After receiving sub-par hair cuts from other businesses, we decided to give Cedar Creek a try, and they did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, Clifford's hair looked great, and he didn't seem as anxious as he had in the past at other places. If Clifford is happy then so am I!

Never! Ever! Ever! Again! I am in shock at the condition of my dog! This was my first (and last) time taking her there (emergency situation). She was left for two nights, 48 hours. When I picked her up I asked the women at the counter how she did. One said, "She did fine...I guess." When my eyebrows shot up, the other replied, "We didn't read her card. Neither of us were here yesterday." They got my dog from the supposed "TLC" area, which was supposed to have been downstairs - except that she was right behind the main door in the tiniest of kennels, not in the TLC area. The woman handed me her dog bed, saying they had to wash it because she was "messy." "What do you mean by messy?" I asked. "You know, sometimes they spill their food on their beds." No, no I don't. Her dog bed was one giant lump and utterly destroyed from whatever they did to it. Because they refuse to give back any unused dog food it is impossible to tell how well your dog ate. I can tell you that she was emaciated after only 2 days, and would not stop drinking water when we got her home. If it had been any longer, I think she would have died. She also is completely hoarse and cannot bark at all. (And this is a dog that never barks). If you love your animals, please stay away from this place (which BTW smells like holy hell).

Decent place to bring your animal, but dear lord they're slow. Only go here if you have literally no desire to have free time, because you'll spend the time waiting to pick up your animal watching three women help one customer, then be asked why you're there, then be asked to wait in line again. I've been here for 25 minutes and only now are they attempting to find where my animal even is. Get better service.

Grooming? Check. Boarding? Check. Help with conformation showing? Check. Recently boarded my 7-yr. old Welsh Terrier for a week here and she came home looking beautiful and wasn't particularly happy to see me: she had a marvelous time with Jackie, Andrea and the staff here! Highly recommended!

Nice people. I'm always greeted when I walk in the door. Groomers always do what I ask them. Custom cut or not. Always looks great when my pup comes home too. Went on vacation and left Boz here one time. Got a personal tour of the kennel and got to choose what I wanted for my dog. They have a special quieter area which is best for my boy. And they have daily playtime that you can sign up for too.

No longer a fan....we have 2 dogs...its like they butchered the tops of them and forgot their whole bottom halves. Very disappointed....manager did not call back for 4 days after I complained. I just wanted a credit, they wanted us to come back...older dogs ears were very sensitive and could barely pet her...she would try and bite you. Something happened but they wont say..

We have been using this boarding kennel for years! We have boarded our cats as well as our dogs and we have always had a positive experience. Staff is always helpful and curteous. Our dogs are always clean and groomed as we requested when we pick them up. You can request twice daily playtimes and I always bring their own food and sometimes a toy. My dogs are sometimes hoarse when I pick them up, but in this type of situation when they are boarded with other dogs, they are going to bark. It is what dogs do. If there has been any issues with my dogs, the staff is sure to let me know at pick up or by a phone call. I have used other kennels in the area and in the northwoods and this is by far the best. We now drive 4 hours (usually on the way to MKE airport) to drop them off!

Have boarded our cat here several times but will not return. She was clearly traumatized this last time. The place was filthy and smelled terrible and rates were increased beyond reason.

I went to pick up my dogs from boarding on a Friday night from CEDAR CREEK PET RESORT near Jackson, WI. I had asked that Benny be given a bath and nail trim prior to my picking him up. When I arrived, the receptionist checking me out was giggling and told me that "Benny did not like to have his nails trimmed and he did not like his feet brushed out". I asked her if she had used a muzzle on Benny - she said no. Tanner, my other dog, was still on the grooming table and the receptionist said it would be 15 minutes or so to finish brushing him out - she said he was matted and she had been working on him for 3 hours! (He was not at all matted when I brought him in). I paid the bill and took Benny to the car to wait for Tanner. Then I saw his eye -- it was hemorrhaged and the tissue was so inflamed it stuck out around his lids (first picture). I asked the receptionist what had happened when she brought Tanner out - she said it might have been due to soap getting in his eye. She had the girl who bathed Benny call me the next morning (she was not in that night) - she said that his eye was fine before and after the bath. Long story short - it was the weekend, I could not get my regular vet Friday night because they do not do emergencies. I took Benny in Saturday morning, saw a different vet (mine was not working that day). The hemorrhage had gone down during the night but there was blood all around the eye and a large bruise was starting to show around the eye (second picture). Benny's eye vet was at a conference in Chicago but he did contact me (I had paged him and sent him a picture) He prescribed antibiotics and eye meds over the phone. The eye dr vet asked that I take Benny to the emergency vet clinic to get a blood test - he was concerned about the large bruise around his eye. The blood test came out ok - no bleeding disorders - so this was definitely a bruise. I took Benny to see the Eye dr on Monday, luckily he will not lose his eye. At this point I have incurred about $400+ of veterinary bills. Monday afternoon I contacted JACKIE FOGEL, explained the story and asked for reimbursement for the vet bills, I also offered to bring Benny in to show her his eye. She said to bring him in - well things ramped up fairly fast after that. She refused to refund any money, and did not take any responsibility for Benny's injury. I never got an explanation as to what happened. I know this is long to read but my point is: BEWARE OF CEDAR CREEK PET RESORT for boarding or grooming!! (I have been trying to upload a picture of Benny's eye - not sure where it went but check under "photos")
