Love the folks here, always friendly and super helpful!Where to start...?This past Saturday we picked up a 5lbs fresh cut port butt to make carnitas for Sunday dinner... It was delicious! Perfect fat cap and cut really nicely.Their sticks are MONEY. The retail flavors are to die for, especially the Jalapeno and Cheddar. BBQ and Peppered at extremely tatsy too!I also have my deer processed here at the Ixonia location. Processing is spot on and the venison sticks they make with our deer are absolutely perfect.If you are looking for a fresh cut butcher and anything else, this is your stop!

We used to live in Ixonia and went often.We were there driving through and had to stop.If in the area stop in.Buy some meat or snacks. Lots of home made beef snacks.

It’s funny, how often you hear such negativity, sometimes it’s accurate sometimes it’s unfortunate. I just spoke with a man named Riley, he was kind, patient, clear, everything you would want on the side of customer service. I will review once my meat is done, but so far I am thoroughly impressed with customer service.

I have been shopping here for years and now won't be back. Can't find any groceries anymore and today, needed American cheese, I didn't see any in the case and got totally ignored when I waited to ask if they had any. Service, availability of groceries and quality of meat has really gone down hill. They used to be an excellent asset to the community, but if you don't want to serve the community with what it needs and only want to sell high priced Smokers then you shouldn't be in Ixonia. When you opened you had essentials for the community that were close and we needed that, but you took that away. And if you neednto speak to one of the owners, they are never there. Sad, took a great business and ruined it.

Great local butcher! Their meat quality is very good. They are a classic small town Wisconsin meat market. You can find a pleasant assortment of meats cheeses cold salads and spreads.You have to go here for their beef sticks. They are out of this world! The price is very good if you buy their sticks at one of their markets. If you buy them anywhere else in the area they’re marked up a fair amount.They have a small grocery here with a lot of essentials. Surprisingly, they also have some grilling and smoking supplies. This was a lifesaver on a holiday weekend once when I ran out of charcoal.

Great selection of meats and cheeses. I love getting a roll of Amish butter and the cheese curds (pretty sure they get them on Tuesdays and Thursdays). The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have some interesting local pickled products and jams as well. A great place to get some specialty items, alcohol, and grilling supplies.

The rudeness of the staff will have us steering clear of this place! We have repeatedly had poor customer service. The staff expects the customer to know how to fill out their forms. We don’t look at these forms all day like they do. Instead of guiding us they had to remind us 4 times that we did it wrong! We also struggled to carry items out of the store while the staff just stood and watched. I guess they have forgotten what basic customer service is all about!! Maybe they should have set down their personal phones and stopped watching funny videos! We won’t be back even though it’s right by our house. We will drive for better customer service than what the Ixonia location can offer!!

Lady working there on Sat very rude , I asked for bacon she said all we have is the 4 pcs ones out there really 4 pcs what about a pound she had a attuide and walked away . Also to say very unsanitary to bring have a dog in a butcher shop. Wow lost me as a customer of 5 years

Great homemade sausage. Seriously one of the best around. Great lunch specials. They have a little bit of everything for a quick stop after work without driving to Oconomowoc or Watertown.I would rate 5 stars but the one time I had a deer processed here it was not trimmed or wrapped well. There was hair on the meat. They were fast to turn around the fresh cuts but took 3 months to return the ground (deer was shot during early bow season)..

A great place to shop for fresh meats. The staff is very helpful and always friendly. It's not just a meat market though. They also have various convenience items such as a small selection of produce, milk, deli meats and salads, etc, at reasonable prices. I absolutely love shopping here!

Never disappointed. Ordered fresh a Turkey, enjoyed several dry aged cuts beef, hot sticks galore. Wish they had a Watertown location, but worth the drive. Just ordered a prime cut of beef, i know I won't be disappointed in their sources.

Dropped off my deer and called in my order of trim meat with an estimated completion of March. When picking up my Fresh cuts, they couldn't find my deer card. Called in March and they said I never placed an order. Asked for a discount and was denied, packed up my trim and headed elsewhere. We have been taking deer here for years.

Been shopping here the last twenty years. Quality went south years ago. Thought I would give it a try again today, the jalapeño cheddar hotsticks are missing the jalapeños and cheese. They got cheap and just use cayenne. This is not the first time I have noticed this. Maybe snowmobiling or truck pulling season got the best of the owner!

I loved this place. There were these chocolate mint cookies that we saw and we just had to get them. They were soooooo good. I wish they shipped cookies because I would definitely order some. I wish I didn't live a half hour away.

I will never go there for lunch again. Ordered the sandwich they had for special, turkey, bacon, cheddar. It was microwaved, not just the meat, but the bread slices as well. The cheese was crunchy, and the bread was a rock. SO disappointed.

I always have a good experience at Pernat's no matter what location I go to. The employees are very helpful & happy to answer any questions that I have. They have great meat, lunch meat, cheese, pasta salads, etc. My dogs love the bones there also. 😉 Fantastic local store to go to every time.

Completely unprofessional. My 15yo son brought in a deer last year with a friend of mine. Unbeknownst to him, he was supposed to pick up the trimmings. He informed me he was screamed and sworn at after he told them he had picked everything up. After reviewing his phone records, I could see that he was repeatedly called. He was called 5 times in 1 day. I called to inform them their behavior was completely out of line but of course, the manager denied it. My son had no reason to lie and neither do the phone records. Given that this was his first ever experience bringing in a deer, it will be his last. My friend went in there shortly after my call and my son's name was still on some stupid wall of shame still after the manager said she was taking it off. Never again & I will be notifying anyone we know.

I always take my deer to Pernats for processing and to get sausage made. There sausage has beenAAA+++ for years. This last year I had double smoked summer sausage made out of my venison and I was not happy with it due to lots of fat chunks in the sausage. My hunting buddy also has a lot of fat in his too. Someone did a lousy job of trimming out the fat. I will no longer get double smoked made here.Their jalapeño and cheese hot sticks were excellent!

Amazing venison processing. Best venison sticks around. Excellent venison bacon as well. Take a little bit longer than advertised, but it's worth it.
