Great place to stay and very relaxing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. It's an older hotel but is very well kept up and clean. Very nice continental breakfast selection with some hot choices. Wo I ld highly recommend!Rooms: Super clean and well-appointed rooms with cable TV, coffee maker, fridge and microwave.Safety: Well lit parking lot with key card entry access.Food & drinks: Limited food and drink menu available upon request. Menu in room and at front desk.

The review below is from my 2022 experience which was lovely. My 2023 experience was quite different. When we arrived to the hotel it smelled strongly of cigarettes. Terribly strong. Someone had clearly smoked in our room prior to our stay, the bathroom smelled like an ash tray. It was so strong we had to ask for a new shower curtain. Our second night, the hallway smelled so strongly of weed and cigarettes that we alerted the front desk. A nice man came and walked the hallway and agreed that the smell was overwhelming. The entire first floor needs a deep cleaning to get the smell of cigarettes out. The smell was awful.From 2022: Great little hotel! Rooms were spotless, pool area super clean too. Would definitely stay again. Impressed with how clean the rooms were.

Check in was easy and quick; individuals at the front desk were friendly.Room was large enough to accommodate our dog’s travel crate; room was clean. Had an indoor pool which we did not use. We stayed here twice. The rooms were very clean and the staff were all pleasant. The pool looked wonderful although we didn't take advantage of it. The only negative was the bathroom was very tiny with the sink/vanity in the bedroom area. Hotel is situated not far from downtown Hurley with restaurants easily available. Also they allow pets which was a huge bonus for us.

I have visited this location a few times as I manage my parents estate over the last year. The location is great with a grocery store across the street and near Ironwood, MI with a cute downtown.Rooms are always clean, staff nice and helpful, and a quiet location. Amenities are good and they allow dogs with an extra fee.

Actually a pretty chill spot. Front desk man was really nice when we checked in late at night. He made a grassy knoll JFK joke that my wife didn't get.Had a pool, ice machines were solid and was able to bring our dogs in.

Can't use the pool because they use it for other events going on. That was not told about before reservation was made. Booking a hotel with a pool for my kids to swim while we are on our vacation is kinda the whole point. Especially when the weather is rainy out an our outdoor adventures are on hold. Then get told can't use it put still charge me for full price of the room when pool is supposed to be included.

Very good for a 2-star motel. It was mostly clean (shower drain was "OK" but not great). Pool and hot tub were very nice. You can tell the manager cares. They have laundry.Complementary breakfast was "OK." Only 1 hot item you have to ask for at the desk (microwave breakfast sandwich). Otherwise, cereal, yogurt, toast, oatmeal packets, bagels, etc.The only thing that disappointed a bit was our kids wanted to swim in the AM, but a community water aerobics class was using the pool. It seems like paying guests should have rights to the pool at all open hours.

What a beautiful stay! I cannot speak highly enough for a budget friendly stay. It was clean and accommodating.Also the clerk at the front desk (Saturday 9/18 PM) is beyond fantastic not only was he welcoming at the check in he continued to be welcoming to my entire family. Making sure my girls were equipped with goggles, serving a beverage to my husband and I and just making friendly conversation. I mentioned how great he was at his job and he said "I just to the best I can with the power I have." He truly is someone who deserves to be moved up in a company and beyond the cleanliness and general comforts of the stay he proves to be a huge asset.Awesome stay! Comfortable and clean.

Very nice facility, excellent customer service. Rooms were very clean, large, beds were incredibly comfortable. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The continental breakfast was somewhat limited but quite good, and the pool and hot tub were comfortable and clean. The sauna was out of order, which was a little disappointing, and we had a touch of difficulty with the TV (you had to be practically on top of the remote sensor to change channels), which is why we gave them 4 stars, but otherwise we had one of our best upper peninsula hotel experiences with them. Highly recommend them.

Stayed here for 3 nights, room was clean staff was friendly. Layout of the room was different. Pool and hot tub was nice. Larry at the front desk in the evenings was very friendly and informative of the area. Stay on the top floor to avoid kids stomping and running around.

This has to be the nicest, most clean, and friendly hotel in the area. Everyone on staff including Rudie, Taylor, Sue, Larry, Linda, & Loretta made me feel like family and welcomed me home every day after my work day while I was here on business for 3 weeks. The rooms are nice, beds are comfortable, showers are hot. Breakfast is nice with a selection of Cereal, Hot Waffles, oatmeal, etc. The pool area is very spacious. The pool is sparkling clean and the hot tub is nice and hot. I look forward to my next stay here.

Loved the sauna, hot tub, and pool. The rooms were clean and neat. The bed -- OMG! It was the absolute softest and most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Pillows were exceptional also. I usually can't sleep, but I slept great. Staff was very helpful. Shared knowledge of the area and attractions.

Took family there for swimming, kids had a great time. Pool area was clean, staff was extremely friendly, and made sure we had clean towels, floaties for the kids, and supplyed face macks for swimming. We were not guests at the inn, but had just paid to use the pool space for the afternoon. 8.00 per head, really good deal.

Beds are comfortable, but the toilet is very low to the floor in all the regular rooms. We were underwhelmed with the brown bag breakfast to go. An 8 oz bottle of warm water, a warm cup of mandarin oranges and a dry chocolate chip cookie. No effort or creativity was put into the bagged breakfast.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean and beds were comfy. However the toilet was so low it must be for little people. For the price that was charged, breakfast was very skimpy on choices. How about offering some microwave breakfast sandwiches or cereal packets.
