Just don’t… go to Menards. Bought appliances delivery was poor and went without a fridge for weeks. Also, i paid for the hook up kits and they were never installed or given to me. Bought carpet and information was incorrect. Returned a product was refunded incorrectly. Wanted to order a part was told that they couldn’t help me (Anderson window part). Don’t expect assistance.

Was helped by an employee named Timothy S.Had a great experience trying to assemble the necessary hardware and materials to make 2 side tables. Timothy/Tim went far out of his way to assist in determining the lumber required, and provided helpful suggestions regarding alternative ways I could have made the table legs (but not in a way that seemed like he was trying to sell me anything, just help).He offered to cut my lumber to length, load the wood onto my cart (even taking care to avoid the ever-warped HD lumber, putting one back that appeared to have waning), and also load into my Toyota.We were in-and-out, whereas normally I take forever in the store overthinking the quantity of wood I will actually need.

45 Minutes to pick one rack of lumber is absolutely ridiculous. In case you, forgot time is money, paying workers to sit at Home Depot is now how we do business in America now. Pro service is also the only cashier on duty.

Don’t go inside and try to buy appliances they tell don’t care if you’re standing around looking at appliances. When you need help they tell you that you should have been the one to go up to them. How is a person supposed to know if they’re busy or not. Management doesn’t care. They give an attitude then proceed to say they are trying to help when they tell you well agreeing with the team. I guess ordering online or going to a different retailer is what needs to happen.

We shop here here fairly regularly, but recently did the kids workshop and it was so much fun! Whenever we shop here the staff is always helpful, which is great because the store is huge and it can be a challenge to find what your looking for sometimes. That being said, this place has everything you need for home improvement!

Customer service not as good as Menards….I walked around for ages before I could find someone to help me, but once I finally did they were friendly and knowledgeable! Self check-out is a breeze, wish Menards had this option. Could use more natural light, it’s a little dim on the old eyes. Overall decent place to shop. I’m sure I’ll be back…

I had just an utterly terrible experience at Hone Depot today. All I needed was an entry door from an elevated rack. The (only) employee in millwork was BSing with a customer. When I asked for assistance, he tried to call for help but seemed inconvenienced to call. When nobody came to assist, I walked a few aisles down and asked for help. Here was his words, “we are like a fire engine but we don’t have any water, no hoses, and no tires and I don’t work in millwork”.I move to another aisle to ask for help. This employee said, “I am just about to leave for home”.The level of customer service was just terrible. I was in the store for 45 minutes to get a simple item on an elevated rack. The employee who finally assisted seemed terribly inconvenienced by having to locate a fork truck and go through 20 safety steps to get a door to floor level.The employee moral is terrible. Many employees were just sitting at desks talked by ri other employees. I will not go to Home Depot again. I had a terrible experience, one where it seemed employees just didn’t care.

The employee culture here is amazing. I can think of 3 times with 3 different employees where they went above any beyond. I picked up an online order with my daughter and they gave us free kits to make wooden napkin holders. Before I had a truck they would go out of their way to cut boards to a size I needed. It's not commone to get that from big businesses.

Another awful experience. Waited 20 minutes. After calling the front desk even to get someone to get locked up wire for me. Steve the managers excuse was well people take breaks. Apparently only one person in the store has a key to unlock it? Will never purchase from here again.

We just ordered a new vanity. We picked it up and discovered as soon as we got home that the counter top was busted. We immediately turned around to return it. Our mistake is that we only brought back the counter top. The fact that this was broken in the box was not the issue it was how we were treated when we tried to return it. We were told that he could not reorder the unit until he had the whole unit- makes sense. So I got out my credit card to order another one- not the replacement. Then get reimbursed when we returned the broken one. The gentleman told me to go home and order another one online. There was no I am so sorry about this, what can we do to help- nothing but rudeness.

Little disappointed in the online ordering. First the website told me the product was available for pickup. Then when I arrived I had already paid online, but the system showed I didn't. It didn't matter anyways because the product was at the warehouse. The workers were as helpful, At least they got me to the right aisle but nevertheless the shelves were bare of the product I was looking for. Overall just disappointed.After second thought after a week maybe I was a little Harsh. The order came in today, they alerted me with an email. I Go to pickup the order, they give you a locker and send you the code, that was pretty slick. Fast, easy,extremely convenient. To be honest a huge reason why I moved the star from a 2 to a 4 star when I picked up my order the manager put a note in there with some candy. I know it's a small gesture but that made my day. I appreciated that he appreciated my business so Thank you. 5 stars to the Manager

Good alternative to Menards. Fast free WiFi. They have special parking spots for combat wounded vets- a well deserved touch. Quality of stuff here is ok to good, Prices are ok to good (especially when they close out a particular model of something), lotsa employees but often they are unable to help in the department we need help in. Beware of accessory kits and add-ons when you buy an appliance. They add considerable $$$ to the price tag, and they say our warranty will be void if we do not purchase them.The other lost star is due to the fact that they don’t stock much stuff here (esp appliances) so yule have to wait 1 to 2 months for it to appear.

Picked up a lawnmower today.. the gal whom checked me in was extremely responsive & respectful (5 star for her)we waited for about 30 minutes and the gentleman whom assisted with getting the lawnmower was EXTREMELY rude, first time he came out he didn’t even bring anything to unlock the mower and asked the guys if they bought it (was a female, whom made the purchase me.. my name was on it) his keys fell I was politely grabbing them off the ground (clearly was NOT here to steal paid $4,000 for a zero turn as he was pushing the mower with the manager (Troy think the name was). I already had my hand to hand them to him and he was acting like I was going to steal some keys! I will drive all the way to Minnesota before I ever support a Home Depot again! The rudeness I can’t handle for supporting a business. Waiting I most definitely can as I understand they may be assisting other customers.

They left their poor staff high and dry on a Saturday morning. Understaffed, product crowding the aisles, inventory in stock but not accessible. I expect better from a multi-billion dollar company.They only get three stars because I can't leave a separate review just for the staff. Exemplary staff. Don't f it up, Home Depot. They deserve better than you.

Apparently they can deliver house packages on a semi before covid but now I can't even get a couple thousand dollar order delivered they shuffled me around and they give excuses and put me on hold I will go somewhere else because they can't service people or contractors in my opinion anyway 3years later I tried to order some material for small 8g job and they were out of most the items where a local competitor had it as a stock holder I will sell based on this and add to Lowes

BUYER BEWARE! HOME DEPOT DOESN'T MATCH MENARDS 11% REBATE LIKE THEY CLAIM. In August, I ordered 40 boxes of flooring and due to damage in shipping, the store automatically returned/refunded 3 boxes on my order. I received an email in September stating the 11% rebate I submitted was denied due to partially returning the order. I called and disputed this with customer support as I should still get the 11% on the 37 boxes but was still denied. I then went into the store and spoke with a customer service representative who stated it should still qualify but I have to call the number. While in the store, I asked to speak with a manager who was unable to come up but told the representative I have to call the number which I already did. I then called and spoke with the store manager who stated there is nothing they can do and I have to call the customer support number. If I would've known this information prior to purchasing, I would've driven the extra 500ft to Menards where they have a hassle-free 11% Rebate.

The people who work here are SO helpful! I came here to pick up an online order and the staff was very helpful bringing out my large box and when it wouldn't fit into my SUV, they opened the box and emptied it into the back of the SUV. So helpful and service oriented! Thanks Home Depot workers in Hudson WI!!!

Wanted to look at a portable dishwasher in still before purchasing but was told none of their stores have any to view, only online. I would like to view something before paying over $600 and it not being something I like/ quality product and having to worry with return shipping, exchange or refund.

I went on-line and saw they had more than enough of the patio bricks I was looking for. I went, reluctantly, to the Hudson store since they have shown me nothing but incompetence in the past. I was told they had enough and then sold the amount I wanted. In a regular store that's the end of the story, but at Home Depot, they don't give you your items when you pay for it; they then begin to look for the items they have assured you they have and took your money for. Told it would be about 1/2 an hour, I waited 2 hours in their parking lot before the man who allegedly was looking for the bricks called my cell phone and told me they in fact didn't have the brick they took my money for. So instead of picking them up the same day as promised by employees and website, I now have to wait 2 days for them to deliver. So what is the next step? Call the main customer care line, right? Well they conference call me with the store manager. Now we'll get something done! I get off that phone call with the knowledge that the customer care rep didn't care enough to understand the problem and a store manager who is going to look for the block that her employees were supposed to have looked for yesterday. But at least NOW we'll get something taken care of. 2 hours later, nothing. I call the customer care rep back and left a voicemail telling her I have not received a return phone call. A couple minutes later I get a call from the customer care member, and she is acting as if she just happened to call to check up on the situation. It's not in response to my voicemail it's just me calling to get an update on the situation. Again I am conference called. I am put on hold for a few minutes and then I am brought in on what sounds like the start of the call (as if they didn't have a debriefing prior to bringing me onto the call). The store manager states that they are "still actively looking for the item." The customer care rep then states, "So you do not have that item?" Then the store manager's story changes to no, we do not have that item. Actively looking straight to we don't have it. So end result is I don't get the bricks I was promised to be able to take home that day for 2+ days. Home Depot is not the store it once was. Do not go there unless you know EXACTLY what you want and are able to see it in the store and pick it up yourself. There are plenty of other home improvement stores out there that know what it is they are selling. Note the website STILL says they have enough brick to fill my order.

This is my first negative review I have ever written (hopefully my last) Awful experience buying our fridge. When we went there the gentleman who sold us our fridge was very nice and very helpful. That was the only good thing about our experience. They scheduled the delivery for Saturday between 10:30 and 2:30 and were supposed to give us a call a half hour in advance. 3 o'clock came around and we still hadn't heard anything. So I called to figure out what is going on. They then told me that it never made the truck and would call us on Monday (we canceled our weekend plans so we could be there when the fridge arrived). They never called us on Monday. I ended up calling on Tuesday and they then said it was scheduled for delivery on Thursday...great (thanks for telling us though). When we bought the fridge we said we wanted our old fridge put in the garage so we could resell it. Thursday came and they delivered the fridge. They also took our fridge with them... I'm still not mad. we were only going to sell it for 50 to $75 anyways and now we didn't need to clean it all up. We noticed that the grill on the bottom of the fridge was warped and wasn't clicking into place. we had a 48 hour window to report anything that was wrong with it. That night I called them to let them know that we needed a new one and that we never received our money they had told us that we would get after the delivery. They said they would have a new one shipped. I called a couple days later to speak to the gentleman who sold us our fridge and he was a totally different person than he was when we bought the fridge (thinking commission might be involved here) He proceeded to tell me that it was our fault for not telling them to put it in the garage. I was not there but my wife was with our 2 young daughters. He said there was nothing he could do to help me and I would have to speak with his manager, who he completely bad mouth when we bought the fridge from him. The 5 times I had been in contact with Home Depot I stayed very friendly and understanding. Now I got mad... The manager called me and told me I would need to call the company directly to have the part ordered instead of them ordering it. We spoke with two other friends that had terrible experiences ordering appliances from Home Depot. I would highly recommend not ordering appliances from here unless you are home all the time and time isn't a factor because you will be listening to a lot of elevator music while you are on hold trying to speak to somone. Sad thing is there is much more to the story. Rant over

In late August we purchased some custom window treatments which went well. Once they arrived the install went great on 4 out of 5 windows. The fifth one the valance nor mounting track was not included. We immediately called and they ordered up a replacement that was shipped out to us. Upon arrival it was missing the same items. We have made multiple calls and spoke with multiple staff and the issue is still not resolved. We have been told they will call back later before the end of day and did not get our calls returned. Very disappointed in the customer service we have received.
