Not going to lie, at first we were a little skeptical of a drone recovery. We always did tracking/ recovery the old fashioned way with lanterns and flashlights. However that soon changed after we saw how professional and ethical this was. Not only did Zac find the deer in less than 10 minutes but did so with such clear and effective techniques and methods. He explained every step, making sure we knew what he was doing and looking for. To say I was pleased with our experience would be an understatement. I will definitely recommend Wiscopter to anyone struggling to recover their deer, what a great business and even greater guy!

Call him out because we had lost blood on a big buck. Found it within 40 minutes got the deer the next morning. Would recommend him to find your deer

We had our 13 year dog Astro escape from our yard and our buried fence system. Zac volunteered his time for a day and a half. On the second day the drones infrared system found a heat source under a tree. It was Astro sleeping and hiding under a tree. After zooming in it was confirmed to be Astro. We had a large group of searchers that were notified of his location and Astro was recovered after a short chase. I believe the technology Wiscopter used was the only way Astro would have been found. Words can not describe how grateful I am for what Wiscopter and Zac did to return a tired, scared, cold dog to us. Me and my family will be forever grateful!

I'll recommend Zac over and over to anyone that needs help finding their deer. He did an amazing job both finding my mom's deer and mine. Both still living and doing good. With getting Zac out it gave us closure knowing we get another crack at our bucks. I highly recommend Zac for deer recovery. A neighbor was tracking a wounded deer that went onto our property. He used a dog on the blood trail with no success. Zac was on our property within an hour of calling him and he searched over 500 acres, located many alive deer and confirmed there was no dead deer on our property. Beyond the utility of knowing if the deer is dead or not (also if it is a buck or doe), Zac makes the experience engaging and interesting for all to watch explaining the technology he uses and its capabilities. As a land owner, we allow neighbors to track a blood trail on our land. This no doubt disturbs the deer herd on the property especially the reserve area that we never use. The advantage of the drone is you can clear those areas without disturbing the deer herd. It would have taken days by many participants to search for the wounded deer vs 1 hour of drone time. We (and our neighbors) will definitely be using Zac again in the future should the need arise.

Zach did a great job explaining to us how things work and made sure everything was done in a legal manner. He records the entire flight, including the audio from anything said near the drone controller while in use. I found it very advantageous to use the drone because you can search a very large area, in a short period of time, without disturbing your hunt area. With the drone and its great cameras, you are also able to search for a wounded animal with very little risk of bumping it. I would not hesitate to use this drone service in the future.

Zac is a great guy. He has went to great lengths to help establish a foundation for operating standards and a professional outlook on this industry. He truly cares about setting a standard and working to improve all aspects of drone service work. I am a local drone operator about 40 miles west of Zac and I will refer him to any of my clients that he may be able to service quicker. I recently had the opportunity to have Wiscopter assist in finding my daughter's buck. What an awesome experience. The operator was very friendly and knowledgeable with the equipment. He asked a lot of questions about the shot and the lay of the surrounding land before he took flight. It didn't take long, and he found the buck for us. It made my daughter's day. The reply below from the Owner/Operator of the drone is completely false. After more than an hour of watching a drone fly around and over our property with lights flashing, including a spot light, we contacted local law enforcement. We were told they were not sure what action they could take because the drone was in the air and they recommended asking the operator to stop operating the drone over us. I then went to try to find the source of the drone to ask them to stop operating it over our home. We had no idea what they were doing or why they were doing it. When I arrived at their location, there were 5 trucks parked on a public road, with a table set up with computer equipment on the side of the road with a number of people holding open intoxicants or open intoxicants sitting on their vehicles. Which we have photos of. All of them were dressed in hunting clothing.I never got out of my vehicle and simply asked what they were doing. I was trying to talk with the actual hunter, who was polite, respectful and I credit for going to any length to try to recover a wounded animal. The operator kept approaching my vehicle and was rude, condescending and argumentative. He kept interrupting me when I was trying to express my concerns. At which point I inquired if he wasn't going to stop operating over us, if I could or simply shoot it down. Which seemed like a fair question, based on his purported infinite knowledge of all things drone related. To which he told me I would be interfering with an FAA approved flight and I would face serious consequences if I did so to which I simply replied "ok". He then kept repeating he had the DNR's permission to do what he was doing or go get a Sheriff if I didn't like it. Ironically, he also kept indicating he wasn't over our home or land but didn't know until the end of the discussion where our home, or land was even located.I then left and did contact the DNR. I was told they do not give drone operators authorization to do anything and that the most they do is give them guidance and regulations around drone use and hunting.Lastly, notice that there are no reviews of anyone who indicates this person or company actually recovered a deer for them. Or a dog, or a person, or anything else for that matter.Again, I have a lot of respect for a hunter willing to go the extra mile to recover a wounded animal. This company and this operator are not they way I, as a hunter, would go about doing it however, based on my experience.
