Heritage Animal Hospital has the best veterinarians anyone could ever ask for. They pay attention to detail and have been amazing with my pets. My dogs and cats have needed very difficult surgeries that would have costed thousands more at a specialty clinic, and their vets performed them with fantastic results. This vet clinic was incredibly helpful! My cat had bloody urine and they were able to see him within 24 hours! Everybody from the receptionists to the vet was very friendly and helpful. The vet was very knowledgeable and patient while answering all of my questions. They explained everything to me very thoroughly, including the pricing. I live in the Fox Valley so it was a drive to get there, but it was well worth the drive! I am very thankful to everybody that works there and helped Bubba yesterday! Thank you. <3

We just moved to Appleton and when our Yorkerpoo, Maggie Mae, got sick they help us make the right choice of care for her. Even though we had to let her go, Heritage was supportive and caring. We recommend this clinic and when it it’s time to get a new puppy, they will be the veterinary care choice for us.

Over a decade ago I brought a cat I owned from high school. They treated him well until we moved out of the area. Tried the local vets in Oshkosh and was not impressed. I'm a customer of theirs again and it's worth every mile to get there and every penny you invest in your pets. They are extremely helpful. They are two locations which makes it convenient if one is booked.

It seems that service has deteriated substantially. I have typically had nothing but excellent service, which is why its a 3 star review. However, the last 2 appointments were EXTREMELY, subpar. In NO way did i feel like my animals received the level of care to justify an office charge! I absolutely have no issue paying, but when I go in for a routine exam expecting at least a basic level of care and experience less than a once over for the 1st appt w one pup. And 30 days later, the 2nd pup's care consisted of 'lets do shots first and THEN we'll do the exam'...knowing full well tht pup is reactive with trust issues. Mind you, they have seen these dogs since they were 8 weeks old. I believe they forgot basic animal husbandry 101. Disappointed 😞!

They treated my kitten like one of their own. She needed to be treated 4 days in a row and they were very accommodating with drop off and pick up times. They explained what they were doing at all times and made recommendations based on what was best for my kitten. I will be grateful for everything they have done for her.

Don't bring diabetic animals here. My cat was diagnosed with diabetes and with a feeding schedule I created to his needs, he is now in remission. I listened to this clinic and started insulin after a month of said diet change. Without them so much as testing his levels the day of his prescription. When asked why, they said it would be an extra charge, and they were sure his levels were the same. After 3 days of the prescribed dose at the times stated on the insulin, my first at home test on him showed SEVERELY low levels of 80 and lower. This was immediately after an already injected dose. I had to stay up all night getting his levels back up and fixing the mess they made out of negligence. Had I not done this, my boy could have died, and I'm lucky I caught it when I did. His diet change fixed all the issues he was having with consistent levels. I'm sure this is a good clinic in some areas, but not diabetic pets.

Doc was very helpful and knowledgeable. He offered multiple treatment options as well as thorough explinations of all options. He was not pushy or condescending with routine vaccines or procedures (which we have found in just about every other practice). We plan to stay with Heritage as long as they continue to be open/accepting of our alternative views on health.

I've only been a Heritage client for less than a year, but all I can say is "THEY ARE AWESOME!" Their customer service is unbeatable, they go above and beyond. And the vet I'm seeing for my cats, Dr. Klemp, is wonderful. So nice having a vet that listens to a new client explain a pet's history so that care can move forward positively. We've been coming here now for about 6 months and they have been absolutely great to us and our animals. We had to put down our 11 month old cat back in March and unfortunately just had to put down our 10 year old pup due to kidney failure and they were able to get us in right away when our girl was suffering. They were so respectful and compassionate before, during, and after saying goodbye to our girl. We are so happy that we found this vet for our little ones and recommend them to anyone who is looking.

We’ve been going for about 2 years since we moved out to the area. They’ve always done well getting us in when we needed. Recently our dog, Kira, had a cancerous mass grow on her leg. They helped us through the process. Unfortunately we had to put her down. We couldn’t have asked for better people through the process. They we extremely accommodating and generous. We still have our younger cats that we will continue to bring for their regular check ups

Recently we had to have a dog euthenized and they were very caring and understanding through the whole process. We brought our hunny cat in because something was wrong with her. The vet was extremely nice and listened to what I had to say. We have had her there a number of times and they were very caring. The vet did a thorough exam and we are happy to say she is happy and healthy now!! Thank you 😊

Heritage is great. I have always felt they show a tremendous amount of concern and care for my pet. They are very thorough, explain things well, treat the pet with great respect, and go out of their way to accomodate the owner. The doctors were great about listening to all of my concerns. They gave me their honest input and gave me different options for the issues. Instead of right away recommending our dog get lumps removed and go on prescription medication for allergies, they gave us alternative ways to treat it that wouldn't cost so much. If those don't work, they said come back and we'll take about another avenue. I really appreciated that they weren't so concerned with making money, but what was best for our dog and our finances.

Thankfully they were; Rufus was all checked out and on his way to recovery. They are so informative, educating owners of current conditions and offer preventative care. They custom treated my dog for out trip to do disaster relief in La. covering her for any diseases or parasites we may encounter. Also advised me on long term care for a long ng life !!

The veterinarians are very knowledgeable about the care of our animals. They also give us all the options available to us and at what cost. The staff has been extremely compassionate and understanding when we have had to make some difficult decisions. I would recommend them as an outstanding place to take your animals for care.
