Paid well over 4 dollars per pound for grapes. When i went to serve some the same day i bought them they were rotton. All of them. Also this store is over priced. Great broasted chicken and potatoes though.

I love the grade of meat in the meat department otherwise the produce department is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. What kind of fool individually wraps everything? All that does is makes it rot faster and waste time.

Being a former employee of the grocery business. You guys are wasting thousands of dollars in the over production of meat after seeing your meat case.Your cutters are over producing product and then you try to sell it. The product sits in the case and begins to turn gray due to the long hrs of sitting in cases due to air and light exposure.You may want to try and keep track of production and compare it to sales and adjust production to only produce what is being sold.I helped save the corporation I use to work for thousands of dollars at each store I was responsible for.I like your store and shop there and send this suggestion to help. Plus it looks bad when you have grey looking meat jammed in a small case.Best of luck!!

I was just in this store on Wednesday. There was a horrible smell by the potatoes. Had to be rotten bags. Knats flying around everywhere by them. It was disgusting. The hot dog buns in the bakery were all expiring the next day. I feel like I always have to check the dates in everything. And watch all the fresh produce for mold. I don’t know if it was just the day, but, it was such a turn off. If I’m going to pay the high prices for items in that store, I expect the store to be clean and item to be not expired or close to expiring.Three employees standing at one checkout and no one in line.Very disappointing!

I absolutely love this store! Their sales are always so good and employees are always so very nice and helpful. I’d rather make the trip to Hortonville and shop there than spend my money at festival here in new London.

Gross..the meat counter is a mess.I was shocked to find gray meat.....And something smelling very off..Their prices were very high for the area. I shop all over the place but I was super shocked to see $11+for a small box of K-Cups? I feel bad for the people of Hortonville, as that is the only grocery store. I decided to run in there quick as I was passing through on the way home from work, I will keep going next time to Festival Foods in New London.

Love this store! Everything is always clean and produce looks fresh. They have a great selection for a smaller store. Their prices are as reasonable as can be expected during inflation times. Still better than Festival or Wal-Mart.

For a town the size of hortonville, there is an amazing selection here. Full deli and quality meat department. I only buy my meat here since the new, bigger store opened. Awesome weekly sales. Regular prices on some items are of course slightly higher than other locations, but everything is top quality. You get what you pay for! And the many high school kids employed after school were trained right. Very, very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable about the products.

Great little small town grocery, stopped in on our way through to grab a few things for home, the staff was very friendly and helpful.The store was very nice and clean. Had a great over all selection. I wish there were more of these stores still around. Much better then the big box stores

Small selections of products and sometimes steep prices, but the convenience of being snug in a little town people from the area can get to a lot easier than Appleton!

Nice clean store good variety friendly employees. Prices are a little high but sale items are a good deal. I would stay away from buying meat there. The last two times I have bought meat when I went to cook it 1-2 days later it was spoiled when I opened it. The sell by dates on the label were still a couple of days away. I don't know if they are extending the sell by dates on the meats but I've wasted over $20 on meats that were ransid when opened and were supposed to still be good. O ther than the meat issue I like the store.

Great store, clean and well lit, with decent selection of items to choose from. The deli and bakery are wonderful, with fresh items daily. I like to support smaller, local places like this. It's so much more convenient than going all the way to the big, busy stores for the things I need.

Quick checkout process. No store card needed. Limited selections in some supplies. No live/cut flowers for sale in a regular basis. Often, red meat packages leak blood. Ew!

This is a small grocery store that has basic items it is more expensive than big box chains but it's very friendly service and it's nice to go somewhere where the catcher is know your name... lol.

I come here just for the meat department. Always great cuts and great prices. Best Italian Sausage around. The liquor department also has a surprisingly wide variety. Staff is incredibly helpful.

A good store to get weekly groceries. Their meat here is priced really well. So are their pantry foods. They have a basic selection of produce. Do not expect to buy any good seafood here, as there is a very slim selection.

Love the deli! I use to go the deli there once a week to order food from it! The deli has everything from breaded chicken to pasta and everything in between. The grocery store is good too. And for all you MTN dew lovers they have a cooler stocked with MTN dew game fuel 👍🏿

Normally, this is a cute place for essentials and a bit more. During COVID, they have a mask-required policy posted around, but there are many people walking around without masks. I look forward to stopping by again after our return to normal, but for now I’ll stay away.
