Good vibes and staff was very fast and friendly. The food however was only okay. The fries were overcooked and the burger (bacon cheeseburger) tasted like it was boiled with black pepper. The shake was pretty good (very small cup). Was unable to finish the buger due to taste. Food prices were very good. Overall experience was decent. Would definitely not be going back.

Fantastic little place. Traditional style drive in, food is pretty good, nothing to write home about but definitely worthy of coming back and the price they ask. Kianna was an absolutely fantastic waitress, helped our table of about 8 as well as other guests flawlessly! Impeccable service, atmosphere is very laid and decently family oriented. Would come again if I was staying around! Thank you!!

Just found this place. Love it.Awesome Food. Freind said burgers are the best they've ever had. I can't get away from the fish basket. Not a lot of fish, but great fish. And between the fish and the frys, it fills me up. And it's only $7.39 or something close to that. My wife loves the shrimp basket, and it is the same price.Root beer is out of this world. Great atmosphere, car hop are fast and freindly. We've been hitting it once a week. It's awesome to see the old cars on Tuesday nights.

Pull your vehicle into a space, and you’ll immediately feel like you’ve entered a time warp, going back to 1955 or so. Sure, the prices aren’t from 1955, but for the current day they’re quite reasonable. The carhops are friendly. Worth the trip. There aren’t many places like this around anymore, which is sad. So you should go asap! Tip: The chocolate malts are excellent!Wheelchair accessibility: It’s a drive-in, so you just pull into a space and the carhop takes your order and brings the food to your car. You can eat in car or at a picnic table a few feet away. All ground is level and no stairs.

Love this drive in Holley n I stopped for lunch it was Elvis week. Fun. Girls were dressed as Marilyn Monroe. Burger for $3.50 cheap n good.. If your passing by on hwy 15/ old 45 stop in Hortonville Wis car hops or you can sit at a picnic table let your kids play outback on the toy cars.

If you want fast food is the great place, you can eat on the car o by the table in the middle. Have great service, and the Shakes are amazing. I order pineapple Shakes, was really good. Ypu can find the root beer.Kid-friendliness: It is great place for kids

Charlie's has the greatest chili dogs. Good car hop service, and a taste of old time culture. Very good, always! A&W Style fresh made root beer, tops!Kid-friendliness: Carl did some free face painting on my Grandaughter. She was thrilled, almost 4yr old. Nice tiger job!

Absolutely amazing, I highly highly recommend the black cows. I just love the root beer taste with the ice cream. And the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the Inside.Parking: Everytime I went there was always available parking. Never hard to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: Saw many kids in their parents cars happily waiting for their food.

Cute little drive in that has frosty mugs for root beer floats and glass for sundaes. We happened to stop by on our way home from watching the sturgeon spawn. Looks like a lot of other people had the same idea. Staff was killing it! Can’t wait to come back this summer

Foods always delicious, and the wait staff and owner are a pure joy to be around. Can't beat the prices. Ample parking for all. Even on lawn seating with surper sized chess and checkers to play a game while you eat. This is a MUST stop and experience if you're ever in Hortonville, WI.Kid-friendliness: Games, super-sized checkers and chess, ride on toys for little ones. Pay horse ride machine. Picnic tables and lawn tables to seat yourself if you'd like to dine outside instead of from your car.Wheelchair accessibility: Can dine right from the comfort of your vehicle.

Charlie's is the place where one can travel back in time to the 50's, when going to the drive in burger joint meant fresh wholesome food served by friendly car hops. Whether cruising or heading out specifically to meet friends for a fun outdoor meal, this is the place. Very unique nowadays, Charlie's has the best burgers and other offerings, with excellent ice cream and ice cream shakes, malts and black cows/ floats. Great root beer by itself or with the ice cream. Tables under the spacious overhang give one the option of stretching out with more room for dining with friends outside of the car regardless of hot sun or rain. Not open in winter, but if they were, I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one sitting there bundled up and still having a malt. Good old fashioned, family run restaurant that allows for some car/ outdoor dining in beautiful Wisconsin!

They have the best fish sandwich i've ever had, friendly staff and make me feel like when I was a kid going to an outside order from your car place love it!Parking: Plenty of parking. It's a place where you park your vehicle and eat in your vehicle or outside your vehicle. ❤️Kid-friendliness: You can either eat in your car or they have tables you can eat at. And off to the side, there's a grassy area that you can also sit and eat 😋

This place is always booming! My family enjoys the burgs and loves the ice cream! Also they have a lot on the menu. Pretty cool place to drive right up to or walk up to and sit down. Good food in town!

The service here was great, the staff are very friendly and work quite quickly even though the place was packed at the time. They only accept cash or checks rather than cards, so we had to use their ATM. Kinda killed the mood of a drive in. The food is rather inexpensive so expectations were low - its passable though would certainly pay more for better quality as many items obviously come from frozen. Definitely would love to see some improvements here as they're doing certain things quite well.

Definitely worth a stop for the shakes alone. I had raspberry and it was delicious. The fish sandwich was good. The cheese curds were not my favorite- but it was more than enough to fill me up. The wait was a little long, but for the small amount of staff they do a great job and are very friendly.
