Friendly and helpful people! Just established in 2022, so they are in the middle of construction. Shop sells unique gifts, treats, typical gas station snacks and drinks, and very good ice cream! We talked with the owners and it was a pleasure. Great place to stop. I encourage to stop, unique and welcoming! Bar will be available by Labor Day, I believe owner said. They will be shut down through the winter but open up again In Spring, 2023 fully remodeled.

A very family friendly place walking distance from the town owned campground. The store has a large selection of ice cream, drinks, beer and unique gifts and candies. There's clothing and collectibles in case you forgot to pack a sweatshirt! Because it gets cold up on the lake even in the summer.You'll feel very welcome in the bar, whether you're having a beer at the bar, or sitting with your family having a pizza special ordered from the pizza parlor in iron river! What they have they do well and treat everyone great!On a cloudy gloomy day, ask to use the cribbage board behind the bar, play with your friends or catch a game on the TV. It's nice to have a place that doesn't have the gambling machines, pulltabs or any of the dice games like all the other bars in the area, but they do have shake a day! Take a chance, roll the dice and maybe win a drink or half the pot!Stop on in to Elsie Blue or the Timberrr bar, you're guaranteed to have a great time!

Herbster is alive again! Brandon and Scooter have worked so hard to bring retail back to this jewel on the south shore, and now it's a must-see stop! I guarantee you'll get a friendly smile and quick service at the bar. Drinks are heavy, prices are light, just the way we like them in WI!

Great new store in Herbster! They have the essential food and beverage you need if camping or in a pinch. Great selection of Herbster and Elsie Blue t-shirts and sweatshirts! The new bar setup is very nice! Love the antique chainsaw collection in the bar! Great addition to Herbster and can't wait to try the ice cream next time!

Such a great place to stop if you need a last minute item, a cute sweatshirt or to grab some ice cream. The lady at the counter was soooo nice! Will definitely be back the next time we're in the area.
