Got the cowboy from hell burger. The cowboy candy was an awesome surprise. One of the best tasting burgers I have ever had eating.out. My friend got the mushrooms burger. She loved it. Fresh shrooms, no canned garbage. We also got the fried pickled. Best I've ever had. Plus a nice surprise with the homemade chips. You will just have to find out for yourselves. Tried a brandy peach old fashioned. It was nothing short of excellent. The staff are 1st rate. Can't wait to drive 40 minutes again for lunch. We'll worth it.

This is one of those times where I absolutely have to give a fantastic review but I really don't want to because I want this place all to myself. The food is all excellent. You can't find a better menu anywhere. The service is phenomenal. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. You really can't find a better bar in the northwoods.

Service was awesome with it being so busy and only having a bartender and 1 cook! They where so friendly! The food was amazing! The chili cheese curds appetizer and the pickles for the sandwich was amazing 🤩! It's right on the snowmobile trail with plenty of parking! Can't wait to go again! We also bought drinks and they didn't have monster which I prefer but they did have red bull, it actually tasted really good!

Food is amazing! Grilled chicken sandwich is huge and juicy, chicken thigh sandwich is definitely for the hungry man with tons of flavor, Reuben made from smoked corn beef brisket right out back is amazing, pulled pork with homemade brandy old fashioned bbq sauce, chicken strips are juicy and delicious, made to order cheese curds and pickle chips, homemade dipping sauces available, can't forget the 1/2# mushroom swiss is to die for with homemade cut and seasoned fries. Bartender does an amazing job remembering drinks and is quick to refresh an empty glass or can. Love these guys, music, food and atmosphere!! Prices are based on the excellent scratch made food you would get anywhere. Must visit! Ignore the review from Mike Raub looks like there's one in every crowd, ha ha ha!

Great literally little, really it's pretty typical in the Northwoods, to have a drink and get some excellent food. We will be back for sure!We've gone on two occasions now. Both for dinner.First time was to try their burgers. Phenomenal! Also had the smoked Ruben. Fantastic! We also had an appetizer of cheese curds with spicy ranch. Great stuff!Second time was for the fish fry. Honestly, one of the best I've had up here. Excellent value.The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly and hospitable. Everyone gets greeted when they come in the door. Easy to eat at the bar or wait for one of the few tables in the dining area.

Best up north bar ive been too! Owners are from the Milwaukee area so it feels at home for me visiting for 1st time last weekend, on a snowmobiling trip with a friend who has a cabin down the road from Pickles! The younger female bartender made us feel at home in the first few seconds of meeting her, she was great and an amazing bartender! The other bartenders were also very nice and I heard many compliments from other patrons that the fish fry and food was amazing. I will definitely try it next time I'm in! Also a huge highlight for me is the owners are heavy metal fans, with a burger even named after a Pantera song, the "Cowboy From Hell" burger!Features: No social distancing required, come in if you feel safe like everyone else. If not that is others decisions that's why we all respect each other.

I would rate this higher but we traveled over an hour to get there. The web site sais open. We got there and it says closed for mud season!!! We had 4 truck loads of people that traveled over an hour!

Excellent food, drinks, and service. Most of the food is made in house and is amazing. Their bloodies are made with a house made mix and it's definitely a different take on just the plain old bloodies you find most places. Highly recommend.

Was hesitant to even post anything about this place… we wanted to keep this place for ourselves. Food is amazing(best fish fry I’ve had not to mention everything else we’ve had on the menu) Bartenders/staff are busting it every time we come in and are some of the best around. Started out ok until a big group of bikers came in and the cook left the kitchen to wait on them. Two groups of bikers never got their order ours came out an hour after the couple who ordered right before us. Burgers were good but the chips were hard and cold. Thought it was a fluke until we got talked about it at our next stop and 2 people had similar stories. Take care of your locals first or it will be a long winter!

There was nothing special about this place and over-rated on Google. We had burgers, Cod fish fry and chicken sandwich. We do not plan on returning here in the future, since there are a lot of better places to go for a fish fry in the area. Lots of ATVers and road dust in the parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Nothing useful.

In town visiting family and we stopped into this local joint they have been meaning to try since moving to the area full time last year. The logo is catchy and we couldn’t help suggest to our awesome waitress that t-shirts that say “We got brined at Pickles” would sell like crazy (and we totally want to cash in on a round of drinks if they make these and sell them). Their food is also pretty amazing. We had great cheese curds and fried pickles (of course) for apps and they were delish. The burgers were amazing and my future mother in law said that the cuban was the best! We see now we need to come back for the fish fry. We will definitely be back (hopefully there will also be shirts) because Pickles is the real dill!

Pickles is awesome!! We went during Friday Fish Fry and although we did not order the special, tables around us were raving about the large pieces of crispy haddock! My burger was cooked and seasoned perfectly and my husbands brisket dip was to die for. Patrons smiled and laughed with Mo, the general manager, as she balanced the whole restaurant alone - awesome! The owner was out on medical and the whole place still ran seamlessly! Worth the 4 hour drive. Great work!
