Had dinner here last night with 12 friends. This is a northwoods ambiance place. I had the salmon which was cooked exactly the way I like it…. Medium rare. The accompaniments (potato and salad) were also good. The wine was excellent and they have a wine selection on site. Jill our hostess was great and took good care of us. We’ll be back!

Stopped in this place to try dinner, we wanted a meal and not just burgers/fries. Ordered the pork chops and half rack of ribs. The pork chops was incredible, and they cooked it exactly as requested. The ribs were tasty and were fall off the bone tender, however my personal preference is more of a grilled/char rib (I still ordered them knowing they were oven baked, not grilled, because they sounded good.. however next time I will go for what I like and try something grilled). Service was quick and friendly, I believe it was maybe the owner/manager who shopped by as well to check on us. Don't let the little bit of a dive bar feel fool ya... the menu is top notch and not bar food!

If I am charged high end prices I don’t want my salad dressing in a packet thrown on top my salad. Chicken Alfredo was not made to order sauce and tasted like old gravy leftover from Sunday dinner. The chicken was from frozen and appeared to have been boiled not grilled. I did let them know and they offered something else . They did disagree with me and reminded me the y get five star reviews! When the gal said she tasted the sauce yesterday she totally gave it away! You don’t make 5 star Alfred sauce the day before! I know because I was taught by a chef how to make it and he was 5star!!! Invite me in your kitchen and I will gladly make some for you! My husbands steak was ok but not worth the$

Don't expect fine dining ambience but you won't be disappointed in the food, service and overall experience.I had the filet and it was done to order and delicious as was my wife's walleye and daughter's salmon.Not sure why we didn't come here before but will definitely go back

Absolutely incredible sandwiches! I got the pesto chicken panini and the chicken was the some of most fresh, moist chicken I’ve ever had on a sandwich at a restaurant. There was no fat or toughness; it melted in my mouth! Very friendly customer service as well. We will be back!

We had previously eaten here and found food and service to be outstanding. A few weeks ago we stopped but the cook didn’t show up. (Not their fault), Owners apologized several times and so we had some wonderful tasting drinks and left a little disappointed. Good news is we love their meat entrees and hope to return soon.

We met the friendly owners Bob and his wife. The restaurant was very clean and had a large screen TV. We stopped by while taking in fall colors. We ordered the spinach artichoke appetizer and had a beer. The dip was very good, we look forward to our next visit for dinner!

I'm up in a friend's cabin just for the weekend. Didn't want to cook for just 1 person. Call the boulevard told them. I wanted to do a to go order.. when I told them It was for just one person, he said. Hang on a second, came back and said. I'm sorry, it'll be 45 minutes to an hour for to go order. And I said is that just because of what I ordered? Or because it was for one person, and he said. Because it's for one person, we have a ton of tickets, how rude!!!!! Didnt want to drive into hayward as thos place is LITERALLY down the road. Def wont be trying them EVER if that is how they treat people

As a fellow Iowan I could go on forever, but I'll keep it short and simple. This is a hidden gem! Very welcoming, clean put together space. Great service, Great food, and not to mention the owner is as genuine as it gets. Simple food choice.... GET THE CRUSTED WALLEYE! Never not had fish fried in my life and that meal blew past my expectations! Bout as short as I could make this!

My husband and I had a few questionable meals in the area before we ended up at the Boulivard for lunch. We loved the food so much we had to come back for dinner, which was just as amazing. Great owners and atmosphere. The Chef is outstanding! We will definitely come back on our next fishing trip. Thank you! Ps... We love Doug!

In town for a short assignment for work and was searching for somewhere to grab a good, somewhat healthy breakfast... When my wife and I arrived there was a very large group that had just ordered prior.Our bartenders (who I am assuming are the owners) let us know there may be a little wait. We had waited less than 30 minutes to get our food, and yet, they were still very apologetic it took that long. So much so, that they gave us our second drink for free.Blown away by the customer service we received. It is awesome to see that despite difficulties with staffing, they were still so attentive and friendly and held their establishment to a very high standard. You can tell they have established a record of good service as they were greeting customers by name, dishing out hugs, and creating a welcoming environment.Will 100% be back!

They now have a chef and a dinner menu that is amazing. Had the (fall off the bone) ribs which were excellent. Also have had the Nut Crusted Walleye twice. All dinners are served with a salad, veggies and a roll, so worth it.Also have had their coffee, breakfast and lunch. It’s a great spot to stop and grab a quick breakfast or relax and have some lunch. Just keep in mind the new Dinner menu is served Thurs-Monday’s. First time we went for their new dinner menu it was on a Wednesday. So bummed but we still enjoyed a Pesto Chicken Panini. Great atmosphere. Owner Bob and his staff are very welcoming and attentive. This place is a must.

First time at the Boulevard Restaurant in Hayward. Exemplary service and follow-up. Food was excellent, we had the Ribeye and Ribs. Will be back!

Nice place, the staff was all super friendly and communicated with us an apologized for our wait ( party of 10 coming in right after dinner rush)Several in our party ordered the ribs and enjoyed them. Salmon was good, as well as the Parmesan shrimp pasta.

Great place! Good fresh food! Tortilla Soup fantastic! Nice people all over the bar and seated! Panini's are crispy upon request, cause thats the way I like them "hot and crispy and cheesy) go and enjoy! Nice ownersOh and meet Doug the bar Dog!
