Great local grocery with one of my favorite fresh fruits, vegetable, and bakery sections. Always some great sales going on. Staff is very friendly. This is such an improvement over the County Market grocery previously in this location.

The problem I had was within this year, but it still bothers me enough to take time to review THIS location. We had received our weekly flyer. There was an amazing sale on a bacon. We ended up going together. I believe we went the first day this sale started. Knowing this was premium bacon at a great price. I had the picture of the sale ad with the bacon, sale price, start date. We went to Self check out. The bacon was not ringing up at sale price with pig card. Cashier came to assist. Long story trying to make it shorter. Manager got involved. He brought the add with the bacon sale crossed out with black marker. What a joke. I showed him the picture of the ad on my husbands phone. He said sale starts the next day and claimed he couldn’t honor the sale price. We don’t live close enough to the area to drive back the next day. I wouldn’t have normally accepted that, but I did. And I really regret it to this day. No doubt, this sale price should’ve been honored. And this is the picture.

Always love shopping here.Best store in town for produce.They have a nice meat department as well. Their deli has some of the best meats and salads.Wish the store had a place to make your own fresh salads.Michelle in the deli is always friendly with great recommendations 🙂.

I've been shopping at Piggly Wiggly for a lifetime now. I especially like the produce and meat departments because they are always fresh. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the prices. Times are tough for everyone. I wish they wouldn't pass that hardship on to their customers.

The staff in the bakery were awesome! I needed to order a large cake with only a few days notice. The staff were so helpful with placing the order. The cake decorator was tremendous! She did an amazing job. Thank you Hartford Piggly Wiggly for your help in making our party a success!

Piggy Wiggly always has a variety of different things that you can't get at places like Walmart. I always come here for my meats as they have excellent selection of meats and deli salads.

BRI in produce was so helpful. My leg was in a brace and she helped me with empathy and kindness, and a laugh. Whole store was clean and food presented well. Guy in deli was rude when I asked about fresh dog bones. Told me no those were in meat department waaay over there then turned away from me. Rude and not very helpful. I will definitely make this store my go to when I move here!

Always friendly casheirs. I was happy to see they still had as many check out lanes open that they did before the self checkouts were put in. Their new liquor department is beautiful. I was told if there's anything they don't have in there that you want you can request them to get it for you, but they have a large selection.

I absolutely love this Pig they are all very kind and helpful! They always have what we want and need. The Deli is top notch and so kind especially to my little guy! The guy doing carts today was sweet by taking my cart for me. Never have I had a bad experience. Keep up the great work.

I love the friendly service by the staff in the deli. They went out of their way to prepare their Yummy crispy chicken, tators, and coleslaw, for my brother and his family. It was an early Valentine's meal and it was devoured by all. Way to go to the Deli Team, this was only 1 of several special "Family Times" they helped create for me and my Family. They do the work, we do the FUN.

Very expensive. Very expensive. Very expensive. I realize we are in a time of inflation but dang. Not too mention the employees were more interested in their personal lives and cell phones than doing their jobs such as facing the store or making sure I am finding what I need. The selection is small because of the size of the store and it was quite dirty there as well. Dust on top of jello boxes and pickle jars and I found many outdated or close to outdated items on the shelves. I was not impressed as I was with the other Fox Brothers stores like Hartland or Oconomowoc.

Shopped one night with the family, didn't get to many items, totalling around $100. Get home, find that the main thing we bought was missing from the bags...called and asked about it, they found it at the register...asked if they could just refund it since I didn't want to make the 20 minute round trip. They said No, would need to go back for a refund anyways. No customer service at all. No other resolution than for me to spend the time and money to get back. Couldn't just get a $6 credit for what i paid? Dont want anything for free, just some common easy customer service. Got some BIG competition going in across the street soon. Thank God Festival Foods is coming into town for some competition. They desperately need it here. You can tell they are OK just being mediocre. Wont be shopping here anymore unfortunately. After picking up the item, just got insincere apology.

One of the best grocery stores in the Hartford area! The meat selection here is second to none with freshness and quality of the meats they have! Every employee I've encountered at Fox Brothers has always been beyond helpful if I needed help finding something or getting something in that they did not have I requested. There is a wide selection of most grocery items, they also have a hot case area near the deli with chicken wings, rotisserie chickens and other hot foods ready to eat! I will also say, I absolutely love that they have a new liquor store added onto the grocery store. They have a huge selection of beers as well as liquors for the conissuers of that! I definitely recommend doing your shopping at Fox Brothers Piggly Wiggly and trying out their brand name items as well! They give back too the community and have great prices on all of the items!

Clean store with good prices and fresh produce. Always well stocked. Only frustration is the layout is not in line with what you'd expect. Deli is near the frozen stuff and bread is in the middle. It always confuses me and results in some backtracking. I'm ok with that though, way better than other chains in the area.Update: even after shopping here once a week I still miss the bread aisle......every. single. Time. So weird.

Update February 23rd 2020 they have their annual Seafood sale today great price on salmon Lobster and shrimpThey sell premium quality products. They always have stock of the things that I shop for. Whenever that I have needed customer service in the store I have always had friendly people from the Piggly Wiggly Family help me.The deli has nice hot food options.This store also has one day meat sale specials. Recently they had a beef special and today is a seafood fresh special.They have floral delivery service and a nice selection arranged by their florist.

The store itself was ok. Didn't have what I was looking for but the tile floor with the carts was awful. The sounds of the cart driving along with the squeaky wheels was enough yo make me leave the store quicker than I normally would have.

Love the Slinger location. Prices are a lot higher than shopping at Meijer, Walmart or Aldi. I try not to do all my shopping here for that reason. Great for quick, short pick ups. Like their weekly specials and hot ham and rolls.

The 3 Fox Brothers stores are our favorites of all the pig stores. Their selection is second to.none and their customer service should be a model for others in the same industry. We would suggest you stop in anytime and check it out!!!

Disappointing to see many people with 2 and 3 gift bags in their carts. Bad distribution. Heard a lot of people complaining. Should have been better managed. Sample stations too close together causing difficulty getting in and around the store. Some stations completely unattended.
