Stayed for the weekend with our pop up. It was such a fun time. There is so much to do. We rented a golf cart and spent a lot of time just exploring. We saw so much wildlife too and the little pond had some turtles and frogs. We enjoyed grabbing a drink at the bar and even won a little money on the machines. They have a cute little parade of golf carts that are all lit up and decorated. There is a very nice swimming pond and many other fun activities especially for kids. We will for sure be back and next time we will bring our pups because they are animal friendly!!!

This little getaway turned into a sensational weekend! I cannot stress enough, this is a perfect campground, for adults and kids! I have seen so many smiles on the kids faces as I did at this campground! There is a beautiful pond with a sandy beach, beach, chairs, floaty, toys, and the water is even blue! You can use the paddle boats or a paddle bike, the arcade is amazing, and let’s not forget the bouncy pillow! The restrooms were very clean along with the showers! 👍The owners/staff are so family oriented! We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was perfect! We were so comfortable! We met a lot of great people and will most definitely-100% be going back to On the Rocks Campground!♥️

We are avid campers and have been everywhere. With it being under new ownership, there will be hiccups. All the staff is super friendly and willing to lend a hand. My cousins slide wouldn't open and Cos (maybe spelling wrong) came over and assisted and got it working with other employees. The bar is super fun too. We were worried that there wasn't a pool but we had a blast in the pond and the other pond with the paddle boats.Only two downfalls were the restrooms need updating but I'm sure that will come with time. Specifically the showers. Also, minimal activities. We will be back.

This was the first time we have been to this campground. With everything on the news, we thought we would let the dust settle and try it out at a later date. So we did and we will not be coming back anytime soon.Upon check in, we were not given a map of the campground. We had no idea where our site was so we had to find an online map to figure it out. The inflatable jumping pad has a hole, the inflatable jumping playhouse has a hole, and all the swimming inflatables have holes so none of them stay inflated. The inflatable swim toys are not anchored down either which is dangerous, but "swim at your own risk". Also, two of the games in the arcade room do not work properly, so that was a waste of money. (Basketball and the Fireball Fury).Friday night they had a movie playing for people to come and watch, which is great. The bass was so loud at 10 PM you could hear it over our camper fans set on high. Then the music at the bar was so loud, we could also hear that at midnight, with the camper fans on high. Quiet time is 11 PM, which was stated in the campground rules. Obviously this rule is not followed. We understand this is under new management as of September 2022, so we may reconsider coming back in a few years, but not anytime soon.

This camping park seems to be filled mostly of regulars or people that live there for a season. They act as if everyone drives around go-karts all the time and will scream at you if they feel you are going over 5mph, even though the go-karts the park offers for rent don't have any speedometers. After I got yelled at it was hard to relax without the worry of getting yelled at. The owners of the park also don't verify the vaccination records of every dog that enters the park until it may be too late. Our dog bit our friends daughter, which is a regular occurrence. The owner and his posse was quick to roll up in both of their go-karts to verify vaccination records. It's a little late now isn't it? And despite letting them know that this is a regular occurrence between our friends daughter and my dog we were asked to keep the dog at our cabin. What's the whole point of bringing him along then? The bar doesn't serve beer on tap and the beer in the cans they do sell are of the national non-craft variety. It's a shame since there is a decent Craft Brewery 20 minutes away. Maybe this place just isn't for my family and I but it's hard for me to recommend and we probably won't be going back.

We stayed over Memorial Day weekend in a cabin and really enjoyed our stay. We are planning on coming back later this summer. Our cabin was back in the woods away from the noise, so it was nice to get away when we wanted to. There are lots of activities and games for kids and adults. It was great sitting over a fire and bonding as a family in the woods. The swimming pond was a lot of fun, and the kids there over the weekend were kind and helpful toward one another- always great to see that. We appreciated staying a couple days after the weekend because it was quieter with less people.Pros: Nice swimming pond, plenty of chairs, nice size beach for kids to dig in, friendly campers throughout park, bounce houses, jumping pillow (could be better inflated), plenty of walking trails, easy 5-10 min drive to convenience store if needed, golf carts available if needed, fishing pond, front desk staff was friendly and helpful, our cabin was clean upon entry and all the amenities inside were as described and what we needed to bring was correctly listed, clean port-a-potties and bathrooms/showers.Things to Consider: It can get loud on the weekend- if you don' t like noise, don't book a pull through spot in the middle of the campground. Stay away from the pond area if you prefer a quieter setting. One concern we noticed, only on our first night there- there were lots of unsupervised YOUNG kids (3-5 years old) running around. Myself and a couple of other parents were concerned because no one was watching them and there's water everywhere. One child, probably 3 years old, peed in the bounce house and her parents were nowhere to be found- other families came up trying to find her parents- really odd. Another child was out walking around crying, probably just 5 years old- older siblings had left him alone. There seemed to be a lack of supervision, but we didn't notice this after the first night. I'm assuming these families were seasonal and felt their kids knew the lay of the campground, but still, there's strangers and unfamiliar people everywhere- please watch your kids! Some of the music during the cornhole tournament was definitely NOT family friendly- we stayed away from it, but just something to note. All in all, we will be back and loved our stay!

It was the first time we stayed at this campground and we loved it! The owners were super friendly and everyone else we met were too! The sites were a good size and the restrooms were clean. The bar was fun and the food was good as well! We definitely will be back!

This is a beautiful campground. It has a lot to offer from mini golf to renting golf carts to swimming in the pond to be able to fish in the lake with a license down the road lots of walking paths to go through fresh open country air a general store or registration area and a new upgrade to the bar is coming. This has a lot of great activities for kids to do. The new owners are really working hard to update this and expand it. I've seen the hard work they're put into this It's wonderful.

In my opinion, this isn't the type of campground we were looking for. I think it will fit the mold for many, just not us. The campground was clean. The swim pond and toy ponds were clean. The equipment in them is not well kept. Handlebars were missing from the "Hydrow bike" and all of the inflatables had serious leaks. I have to be understanding that they just bout the place about 11 months ago. But the equipment issues caused some safety concerns for some people. There were a lot of unattended children swimming in the swim pond (not the campgrounds fault). The movie played for the campground is a great idea, but it was SO LOUD! If you booked anywhere near the middle area you were forced to hear it inside or outside the camper. When the movie was done, the DJ started in the bar. They placed till after 1 am. That was loud enough to be heard inside the camper with the AC going. If your kids stay up late and/or you like to head to the bar and party, this could be an excellent fit for you. It doesn't seem to be for the quieter campers.

Our family just camped here last week and none of us will go back. While this place has potential it hasnt been kept up. Very poorly ran. It appears there is mostly regulars who stay here and they could careless about additional guest staying. The office is never open when needed or it says store closed and it's dark in there. The bar is a waste. Cheap drinks but the bar tender if your not a regular is just cold. The pond has inflatable that are not attached to the bottom of the pond. Liability if you ask me. And the golf carts..... the regulars must just get annoyed when people ride around in them. Dont forget to ask for your $100 deposit because they won't offer it.

While we were thankful for a place to stop, our site was flooded, and the power didn't work. Also, the bathrooms near our site were porta-potties. Should we come back by this route, we will definitely put in for a site by the brick and mortar bathrooms. They do have a lot for kids, and it was kept clean from what we experienced. The staff were very friendly as well.

If you're looking for a great place to bring your kids, you won't regret it. I went on Father's Day weekend and they had activities every day/night so you won't go bored. Had a blast thereDog-friendliness: I brought my dog on her first camping trip here and she absolutely loved it. She would love to come back again. Lots of friendly dogs around.

THIS IS NOT A FAMILY CAMPGROUND! Very disappointed, never coming back. Management is horrible, no one knows what is going on. Office is open but no one in authority is there. Bathrooms are disgusting. We were almost hit by small children driving golf carts, and office people said they don’t enforce rules - WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

Haven't camped there yet but many of my friends have and they loved it, I think all the negative reviews are from the friends of the previous owner.

Sites at this place are terrible. I booked a site at least a month in advance with plenty of spots and we got put in a little corner our small camper could barely fit. No privacy at all; we were almost touching out neighbor. Avoid this money hungry owner campground.
