Love their high quality products! Mushroom Swiss brats are awesome! I went in today with my 3 month old in a car seat and the staff was so so kind. I only bought 5 or 6 packages so not too too much and the check out lady asked if I needed help out with my son and stuff and I declined. Then as I was walking out with my carseat and bag of brats, another staff member came running and asked if I wanted help out and held the door. This was after wonderful customer service while I was in there. A+ Staff, highly recommend! Our family will always support this great business! Thank you!

Every time I walked in I am greeted by a smile and the delicious smell of cured meats.The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was helped by the butcher to cut down bones for my dogs, and I also got great recommendations for pork seasoning. I always enjoy shopping here. This is one of Greenville’s best business!

I went there to pick up some tri tip steak. The prices seemed very competitive and the staff was really helpful.I was directed to a cooler in the back of the store where they had vacuum sealed tri tip and picanha! I got both and they were both amazing steaks prepared suos vide 135degreed F. and finished on the charcoal grill. I prefer the tri tip but both are excellent imo.All I keep thinking about is going back. I would love to try a wagyu steak! They have them but prepare to pay for it. Thanks for being such an amazing part of the community!

My rating is specific to their ground beef. I would not recommend purchasing that particular meat item here. The ground beef is very greasy. 1 lb rendered 2/3 cup of fat. I felt like I had much less actual meat when cooked. At $6.59 per lb, I don't feel I got the best value of beef with so much grease.

Was in from KY visiting family last week and stopped by to pick up brats and chicken sticklers for a cookout based on recommendations. First off, the staff was super welcoming, very friendly and very knowledgeable. Second, the brats were incredible and the chicken was amazing too. Liked it so much we stopped back in before we left to pickup a bunch to take home. Great spot!

Meat Block receives the highest recommendation from me.The people who work at the Meat Block are top shelf. The product offerings are all exceptional. The meet they sell is superb. I prefer a thicker NY Strip or Sirloin and Jim, AJ or Shawn always go out of their way to give me exactly what I asked for. The folks behind the counters are very attentive and quite knowledgeable. Janna does a great job and want to make sure your expectations are exceeded.They also sell the Fireboard remote meat thermometer, which works very well. I told him I had a Weber iGrill3, which is junk. They turned me on to the Fireboard and could not be more pleased with the accuracy and reliability.

I visited over the weekend for a steak cooking competition and came away more than a little impressed with this Meat-BBQ-Grilling emporium.First and most importantly, they have awesome meat. Lots of high-quality cuts, showcased beautifully and handled by a knowledgable staff.The 1855 branded top-choice ribeyes we picked up were VERY nice. Talking to the owner, it was clear how quality-focused he is, and that he really knows his stuff.They also have a ridiculous seasonings section. Probably the best I've seen in Wisconsin. Oh, and it's a grill and smoker store, too. Drums, pellet grills, charcoal cookers ... you name it. Several top brands represented.

One of favorite stores. Meat is slightly more expensive, but for the most part, worth it. Grilling products are unmatched anywhere locally, and I have no idea how the staff is trained so well. Each one of them is extremely knowledgeable and kind, they always succeed at helping out- I walked in one day looking for two steaks and walked out with a new Yoder 640s.This is the only place to go in the area for grilling needs.

It's not every day that you call a store 2 minutes before closing, place an order, and they keep the doors open just for you after standard business hours. This experience happened for me today at the Meat Block. I am taking time to write this as exceptional customer experience and service deserves to be recognized. Between Andy who took my call and facilitated my order through execution with the team, and the incredibly positive attitudes and professionalism of Jana and Megan, this is what a successful business is built on. After most certainly shortening my life with some of the best meat and meat products Wisconsin butcher shops have to offer, I have come to the conclusion that the Meat Block is one of the best butcher shops in the state, if not the best. Everything they offer is of such a high quality. If you don't believe me, check it out for yourself! I also had my deer processed there last year and the results were incredible.Their vast selection of meats, pre-made meals, and a huge array of seasonings and sauces make this the ultimate grilling headquarters - not to mention they also sell some of the best grill brands as well! It's a 40 minute drive for me, but I come and go with a smile on my face knowing I am getting my favorite products from my favorite place!

We got a gift box with steaks from a customer of ours last year as a Christmas gift, and they were fantastic. Our whole family really enjoyed them!! This year we decided to send them out to our customers as our gift to show our appreciation. Meghan at the Meat Block was great to work with. We are out of town and she made the whole process very easy. I hope our customers enjoy the steaks as much as we did!!!

We had ordered some steak and chicken kabobs for the Father's day cook out before the Wednesday night storms hit and took out power in Greenville. Even with this happening and all of there meat products being moved to the Heans store MEGAN made sure to contact the Mrs. And met us at the Greenville store and brought us the kabobs, she also allowed us to pick up a bag of lump charcol and lighters for the new grill..Awesome job Megan!!! Too they also delivered our new primo grill Friday afternoon while the power was still out at the store.

We stopped here the other day on a whim after driving past and we were not disappointed! This place is incredible. The service alone was worth stopping in for, but the selection of meats and fish and seasonings and accessories was amazing. The staff was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Wonderful selection of protiens. Fish, seafood, veal, lamb, chicken, beef, ham, bacon, sausages, brats (beef, pork chicken ) multi flavored/seasoned burgers, hot sticks and venison/elk. Everything is prepared in the shop. Phil and his staff will bend over backward to help and cut, tenderize, create what ever you are looking for. They are very knowledgeable and have an excellent understanding of their products. Good selection of wild, organic, gluten free products. Nice little grocery store with the staples for dinner, good deli, wines, sauces and seasonings. Well stocked freezer with ready to eat foods from soup to dinners. Seasonal specials for the holidays as well.

This places is the best around! They have Waygu cuts of beef. They have a lot of specialty smoking and grilling supplies as well. They also sell the top tier Weber gas grills, the Yoder Smokers, and world class ceramic grills like the Egg, but even some even better. At least check this place out! You'll be back every week if you do. They deliver and set up any grill or smoker you get from them and treat you like family there. I won't go anywhere else in the Fox Valley. Support these guys they are so good and have such high quality cuts and equipment you'll be happy you went. Im a foodie and spend thousands on food each month. I know what good steak is and have had the best all over the world including the Kobe steaks from Japan for thousands. The Meat Block will make anyone used to eating very high standards happy and the common person will be in heaven as well!

Very good taste of meat's & salad they make up. Can't wait until it gets warmer to start grilling out. We just moved here in October and wanted to find a good butcher shop because in Waterford our other house we had a GREAT butcher on 27th Layton in Milwaukee named "RAY'S Butcher Shop" and meat block is very close for what we have had already.

Was sick of the flavorless grocery store meat. Had heard good things about the block and gave it a try today. Bought 4 Ribeye's for the grill and was not disappointed. Also tried some new seasoning and coal. Butcher BBQ Grilling Addiction and Jealous Devil Coal, really good! Staff was excellent, I will be back to fill my freezer!!Also noticed a couple folks upset by the fact that employees don't act like Nazis and enforce mask rules. To those I say, if this is such a deadly serious "pandemic" why are you in a public place with lots of people? Get the curbside pick up if you have extreme health conditions, its that simple.P.S. a face shield, bandana, surgical mask were not developed to stop the spread of disease. Just remember the recovery rate from covid is 99.99997You will be just fine :)Thanks guys keep up the good work!

Stopped in to purchase meat to make Beef Bulgogi, a recipe by Joanna Gaines. The clerk cut it super thin for the recipe, which I very much appreciated. I also purchased marinated chicken breasts that I add to a crock pot with a jar of salsa and taco seasoning. Six hours later, it’s super delicious. Great meat selection; looking forward to eating beer cheese dip stuffed chicken breasts. Also bought fun things like orange jello, salt water taffy and cookies.
