My husband and I stopped here on a whim while in the area and are so glad we did! The food is quality and the service made it outstanding! The guy at the counter was super helpful and so polite. 👏 The fries were outstanding and we Loved the Wisco brat. Yummm!And, I’m not normally one to impulse shop but the gift store even got me too and I came away with a cute crewneck. 😊 Overall, this is a high quality stop when you are enjoying Green Lake!

Totally gluten free option! The GF bun is sooo good! And they have like 50 toppings to choose from <3Candy shop, gift shop, cute souvenirs, shirts, toys and trinkets.Family owned! Food is high quality, service is excellent, and the shop is very welcoming and clean. Lots of cute, unique candies and the fancy fries with awesome sauce are addicting! Buns are soft and delicious. I used to think I didn’t like hot dogs, turned out I just hadn’t met the right one(s)…. until trying out Walk the Dog. Highly recommend the Hardy Dog and my kids love the Mac Dog. ❤️🌭

Great little dine-in establishment! Everyone in my party loved the food. You have to try the fries with their mysteriously-good dipping sauce. 😋 Friendly service, lots of fun things inside the store for sale (candy, t-shirts, soap, candles, jigsaw puzzles, etc.). Even treats for your dog! Oh... and the hot dogs, of course, are great! Lots of fun and creative names for the variety of yummy topping combinations. This is really a unique and creative addition to the area. Stop in and support it! You'll be glad you did.

Loved Walk the Dog when they were in Princeton and was excited when they opened up in Green Lake. There was no hesitation to drive the extra miles to have our favorite dogs at Walk the Dog as often as possible.

So glad this shop is in Green Lake! There are so many hot dog topping combos to choose from it would be hard to believe you couldn't find one that you like...my personal fav is the City Dog. The bun is always soft and fresh, too. And let's talk about the fancy fries...YUM! The fries alone are good but they come with an amazingly delicious dipping sauce. They have such attention to detail here that even each to-go container has a hand drawn special message! And, while you wait for your food to be freshly made, they have so many fun souvenirs and gifts to look at (and buy!) You get fast, friendly service, and a real bang for your buck here!!

For a hot dog place I would go again, but I am not a big Hot Dog fan. A very good variety of toppings a selection of styles of hot dogs. It was good and the toppings are plentiful and fresh. The fench fries were also fresh and tasty with a nice amount of seasoning. I would have preferred a little crispier, but that is my preference for fries.

Walk the Dog is a great addition to Green Lake. The food is amazing. The gourmet dog options are refreshing. The sweet messages on the packages are so cute.Added bonus...gluten free options! There are so few places in the area with GF options....it is a blessing they care about those of us with dietary limitations.I also love the boutique and its locally focused products as well.Seriously, this place is a must stop.

Customers are a real cast of characters.Staff seems unanimated by comparison, until you get your order and see the cool artwork n nice notes on your carryout containers.Good dogs. Neat storefront. Too much shaker cheese on the fries for my taste. That said, I still ate some.

Gourmet hot dogs in Green Lake? You bet there are! Each hot dog I’ve tried has been so delicious! And they have vegetarian options too!! Did I mention the delicious French fries and Awesome sauce? Walk The Dog is a must visit!

Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a "dog" affectionato and this place rocks. Serving quite a few varieties of gourmet hot dogs as well as taste sides, you're sure to find something that tickles your taste buds. BTW, my favorite is the Chicago dog and here it is quite authentic.Only gave a 4 star rating due to a lack of in door, sit down eating. Sorry folks, take out only. Still, have been the in the past and will continue to frequent this establishment in the future.
