As a contractor, I spend tens of thousands of dollars at Home Depot every year. I had some flooring to return from a job. After the 90 day return policy it needs to be returned for store credit. I had no problem with that! They could see the receipt for my purchase in their system, but we’re unable to use it to return. They tried doing the return with no receipt, and they said that they have a third-party system that was blocking the return. I spoke with the manager, and he said that he “attempted to override it, but there was nothing he could do.” This seems like a really easy way to not have to take returns when you don’t want to. I returned an item to Menards on the same day, and was given no issue and was refunded store credited immediately. I guess customer service isn’t very important to Home Depot. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Fun place to shop, but once you actually do business with them on big items, everything about the experience sucks. I waited months for them to deliver my washer/dryer and then they show up on a random unscheduled day when I am gone.

I was at the store on Eaton Road and had the pleasure of working with Harry in the lighting department as I tried to problem solve an issue with a fan and light. He was so helpful and kind and didn’t make me feel like an idiot!! What a gift!! 🤗 He truly went up and above today! Thank you, Harry!!!

Susan at the service desk was exceptionally rude and was pretty much ignoring things I was saying. Another person couldn’t help me find wheels for a $2k storage system I ordered from Home Depot and that I had to call the storage system people myself to figure it out. You’ll find me at Menards in the future.

We ordered a snow blower at this location and they were so great!! We had our snow blower in 4 days …customer service was so helpful and we couldn’t believe how quickly we received the order and how helpful they were . Thank you Home Depot !!!!

Ok, so them giving me candy at my curbside pickup didn't influence me at all....but it was sweet! I ordered my pickup order about an hour ago, and randomly checked my email. Lo and behold(!) it was ready ALREADY!! The speed of it was very unexpected but super pleasing. The girl who brought out my order followed the correct procedures, was super friendly, and the parking area for pickup wasn't crowded like at the Memphis stores I've visited. It was an all around speedy and efficient process. 10 stars from me!!! Thank you!

Good home depot well layed out. Only problem I had was service. No one asked me if I needed anything at any point or if I was looking for anything in particular. Other then that it has everything you need just like any other home depot.

Terrible spent 2500.00 on blinds and told the sales lady 5 times at least I want you to pick up at home depot and deliver it to my home to install, called them up asking about my order oh its been here, huh no one called me, and you guessed it sales lady never charged me for home install, and it was a special order I didn't want it shipped to my address, ship to home depot,install people grab it from home dep,and install it, I didn't want the problems I'd would have paid for delivery charged and install charge would have been under 200.00 it wasn't a money issue if it was I wouldn't have spent 2500 in the first place never going back never 😀

Went there looking for some lvt tiles. They didn't make them any more, but the two guys that helped me searched their inventory and went in their personal cell phone online and tried to find them. They went above and beyond for me. Especially considering the fact that they were 15 minutes from closing, and they still showed enthusiasm. You go guys.

Excellent service tonight by Kenzie and Steve. Close to closing time, and I needed a couple specialty parts to complete my project. Kenzie was thorough and promptly located the items I needed. Steve very kindly cut the pipes I needed to length. Very grateful for the wonderful service, and customer-oriented attitudes of the employees. Outstanding management at this Home Depot--the reason I've been coming here for years, and will continue to do so. Thank you very much!

Nice store but very poor customer service. I was calling today to see if they had a dryer in stock for purchase. Three times I was transferred to appliances and all three times, someone picked up and immediately hung up. I called back a fourth time and was immediately put on hold without speaking to anyone. Decided to buy my washer at BestBuy. I paid a bit more but they had the decency to speak with me on the phone.

These stores need to come up with timely curb side pickup for home materials, and for special order pickup. I have ordered many times and it's always an issue and time consuming. Example one of my orders arrived to the store. I received a notice and selected a pickup for the next day. I received an order ready message and when I got to the store the item was still in the back and stuck because when they unloaded it they packed it behind other stuff.

It's not a bad store at all! But the issue that I had was the store set-up. I went to look for a new bathroom vanity. They have more than enough to choose from! But only 2 out if the 15-20 vanity's they had on ground level that you could actually look at. The rest of them were about 5 feet off the ground. So you could look at the front of them. You could not look inside the drawers or doors...

She helped me choose my new carpet, explained how the warranty works, very well detailed, but Marie up in costumer service is unhelpful, so rude, and thinks shes always right she try saying my coupon wouldn’t work and laughed, and I went to Ginger and it worked’ screw you Marie shame on you

This used to be my store. Until tonight. I needed one thing. A toilet seat. I had just under five minutes and the aisle was closed. I asked the man if I could quickly grab a seat and check out. To which he sighed in a very annoyed manner and was incredibly rude the entire time. I put it down and won’t step foot in this location again. I didn’t deserve to be treated this way. We spend THOUSANDS at this store. Menards it is for all of our shopping needs from now on. Customer service is horrendous.

A very special shout out to, two very special people!!!Kenzie and Amber. ♡As we were checking out we were trying to figure out how to get our military discount and Kenzie was glad to serve us.She stuck around and made sure that our transaction would run smoothly.At the end of our transaction waiting for payment our register froze! This is Kenzie's first week and she did everything she knew before calling for her manger Amber.We all worked together trying to figure out the situation before moving to the next register.Kenzie insisted on scanning and helping move over our things (we had a full cart!) To make it easier for us. At the end of our transaction going to the payment once again our screen froze..Amber came over and helped us get back to the first register and we scanned everything there once more.Surprise, surprise our register froze once again.Kenzie helped for the 3rd time move everything back to the second register.After about 5 times of moving things back and forth we finally called for help from another employee who took us to check out at a totally different register.The biggest thing about this visit was that they had been closed way past by the time we finished.The whole time they were nothing but delightful and helpful.They were devoted to helping us even though it mean Kenzie got an arm workout and Amber was stuck dealing with our temperamental registers.They made us laugh the whole time and we got to know them personally and we knew that we would eventually get out of there either with our order or we'd definitely come back to get it another time.But even if we didn't have our order we would have left knowing that we had the time of our lives and I have never seen such impeccable costumer service.Thank you for your guys patience and genuine hospitality.Continue your hard work Kenzie, they're very lucky to have you and you're going to go far!!Continue training people amazingly Amber you were such a bright light, you personality was impeccable!

I did give them 2 stars cause I did receive "some" assistance. I went in there to get a fuse for my centrifuge machine. I even brought the one that was blown so I could get in and out. I found it rather quickly, but I couldn't reach them because I'm all but 5'3, and they're up high. I managed to get one but wasn't completely sure if it was the one I needed. No one was around, so I went to check out. There was an associate leaning on the check-out and I asked him if he could help me and I told him I just needed to know if this could be the fuse I needed, I couldn't reach the others cause they were too high up. He didn't budge. Looked at my item with a smuge look on his face and said, "You need help, for that? So another associate came over and managed to help as much as she could and checked me out smh At least she was more polite than he was. You don't want to work punch out and go home buddy! No need to be rude! Needless to say when I got the fuse home, IT STILL WAS THE WRONG ONE! As soon as I put it in and plugged it up, the fuse blew.

Thank you to a young man named Avery for helping us with some Halloween decorations today that I haven't been able to get anywhere else. After being to 2 other stores and being told I couldn't purchase them yet and my online order being on back order since July 15th, I walked out with the 2 things I really wanted today. You all rock. They now have a sign that says they will not cut wood for “projects”. That was a great service that we loved when we wanted to buy a piece of wood to hang as decor, and not purchase a $400 power tool to do it.Disappointing.

THE GOOD: Great tool selection for pros and DIY. Honors military by close parking and a discount. Self-checkout. No hassle returns. Good staff.THE BAD: Straight-in style parking horrible for bigger vehicles. Low selection. Often bizarre locations for material (store setup). I prefer the outdoor, drive up lumber yard for the bigger and heavier items (handle it once into my truck).THE UGLY: They shut down aisles for awhile to access stock higher on shelves, so if you need something quick you run that risk. Seems they don't stock large quantities and run out of essentials.

My boyfriend, Kevin, specifically asked me to post a five star review for a young man, "Kyle" who works at the Home Depot (Eaton Road location). Kevin was there at 1:12pm today to purchase garden soil and was given and charged for potting soil instead. Kyle came to the checkout to help and was extremely friendly and acommodating! Had Kevin pull right up to where the lawn mowers are and took care of the exchange rather than make him wait . For some of us these small gestures make all the difference! Great job Kyle! Hold on to him Home Depot!
