Love the animal house staff and the helpfulness they provide. They offer options in treatment and recommend their best opinion. Not easy when pets can’t talk. Clean, easy in/out and they offer grooming in the building next door. They were recommended by a friend and now all my friends take their pets there.

I rescued my female Great Dane Riley in May of 2020 as a Foster with the intention of adopting. The rescue I got her from uses Animal House so that is where I began taking her. I continued to go to Animal House after I adopted her even though it's on the opposite side of town from where I live. The care and attention I've received there has been very attentive, compassionate and professional. I haven't seen just one vet but I believe I could if I wanted to. Unfortunately it was during Covid that we began going there so I wasn't able to develop a relationship with anyone at that time. Contact was very limited. So now I've been satisfied with whoever I see and whoever treats Riley. Contacting them for questions is very easy. I can leave a message with the online message option and I get a quick reply. I don't always have to bring her in which is wonderful. It saves time and money because they will sometimes recommend treatment without needing to see her. A previous clinic I went to didn't do things that way because they were more concerned with money. I give Animal House 5 Stars because of the experiences I have had with them. I'm very satisfied and when I do need to bring Riley in it's worth the drive. I tell people I use Animal House as my Veterinarian and Groomer because they're great! I would recommend them.

SAD!!! For the past few years Animal House was the best place and then they were bought out which I did not find out until today!!! I could bring my dog in. They would check her out when there was an issue now I have to wait 3 to 4 weeks before they will see her November I took her in. They said oh this is what’s wrong with her put her medication paid the bill December I took her in. Oh this is what’s wrong with her put her on medication paid the bill January I had to actually finally research myself and tell them that was wrong with her and then they put her on medication and I paid the bill!!! While I was there. There was a lump on our dog side. They took a biopsy, said it was a cancerous tumor. They took it out!! I’m thinking great nope two days before I took her to get her stitches out. She started limping on her back leg and wouldn’t even walk on it when I took her in to get her stitches out they wouldn’t even take five minutes to look at her back paw they said I had to make another appointment, are you kidding me I pay my bill all the time. All I want is a true diagnosis without has any to waste money and have somebody care about my dog as much as I do not taking her back. I wouldn’t even rate one star, but I had to rate it.

We have been to a lot of veterinary clinics in the area and have found a diamond in the rough! Great Doctors and the staff there are great also! Hard to find good staff these days but they have! Our family dog goes here, they are very caring with the animals. Last week Monday I brought my 12 year old cat there, just thought it was a tooth issue......but it was cancer under her tongue and it was too far spread, so I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put her to sleep. Dr. Brad was great and very sympathetic. I highly recommend The Animal House.

I was there with a new foster for vaccines and a check for kennel cough. My foster was very anxious. The vet talk to me like I had never had a dog before. We had the foster for 10 days. She was telling me that the dog needs exercise. No kidding! She gets exercise, she had had it that day, she was anxious at the vet. They finally got done with the vaccines and I had to wait almost 30 minutes to get the medicine and get checked out. That took longer than the entire time they were in the room doing the exam. Not overly impressed.

After 8 years of care at Animal House, recent experiences have made me feel that I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Ever since Dr. Pat left and sold to a big corporation, not only do they lack compassion, profit seems to be their only motive in treating animals. They seem to be farming out care and not taking the whole animal into perspective which is evident when you sit in their waiting room listening to them list off prices instead of what is actually best for the animal to not only yourself but other clients. They are looking to get the animal in and out rather than actually prescribing a treatment that actually works or taking their history into account. They lack care and compassion. I have been treated with disrespect from staff on multiple occasions. On multiple occasions over/unconsented treatment has been given to my dogs, without my consent. One of the times I brought my dog in for ear concerns, I was charged for a veterinary exam and I didn’t even get to speak with the vet.When I brought my concerns to the attention of the manager, she basically said that it was a “one off” experience. And honestly the first time it happened I did too, however, after multiple examples of concerns at different visits and from reading some of these reviews, this seems to be a common theme for which the manager didn’t have a resolution and basically made it seem like they are busy enough that they don’t need to care about my business or the treatment of my animals.We had an issue with our dogs a few days later after I brought my concerns to the manager- probably because of lack of proper treatment the first time. Our only option was to bring them to animal house because they were not yet established at another vet. I was treated again with disrespect and charged for care that didn’t even help my dog get better. I finally was able to get into another vet, who provided prompt, respectful treatment, and actually listened to my concerns- not to mention at a fraction of the cost of what animal house would have charged me.In conclusion, if you are going for routine care, this place is probably fine. However, once you have an isssue, expect to spend tons of money on treatments that don’t even necessarily work and don’t expect any respect or compassion from the staff or veterinarians alike- if you even get to speak with a veterinarian. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. It really is a shame what this clinic once was when Dr. Pat was there and what it has turned into.

Our Dog had surgery the Dr. who did it did not talk to us before or after the surgery. Our Dog can't even begin to reach his bowels to eat or drink because the cone is way to long for him. He has barely ate and just drank a little water, of course we had to hold the dish inside the cone for him to do that and he does not want his pain pills. It seems to be more about quantity not quality of care. It is very hard to get appointments and if you want training hang up on that one.We just feel like a problem and with our last dog we never felt that way

Great staff, safe & clean appearance and environment, vets are very straight to the point and don’t upsell you on anything and give lots of options for treatments. My dogs & small exotics have always had a very positive experience here and have had long healthy lives. My dogs even get super excited when I say we’re going to the vet because they love the staff so much! Definitely a vet practice I’d recommend to anyone with pets

We used to go to Pulaski when Dr Brad was there He then moved to Animal House which is further from us. We stayed at Pulaski Vet but had a bad experience so we now see Dr Brad at Animal House. He is fantastic. I would definitley recommend him and Animal House. Thank you.Corie Denow

Jessica is an incredible vet and has been amazing to my chihuahua and my family as he nears the rainbow bridge. They squeezed me in for a "quality of life" visit and she correctly diagnosed my chihuahua with a stroke instead of a previously thought back injury. I am thankful for her care and support. You can tell she truly loves her career and is in it for the right reasons... she loves loves loves animals.

i brought in my senior Bugsy who i adopted earlier this year who needed a ton of work- and it ended up being even more than anticipated. we were in and out of the clinic probably 15 times, if not more, over two months. the entire reception staff along with Dr. Heidi was amazing in helping to manage his eye and tooth pain and got us in every time he needed to get in. he had 2 surgeries and had to stay multiple over nights and Cole took such amazing care of him i can’t say enough how thankful i am for the animal house, i owe them everything. we finally got through it and now bugsy is a very happy toothless, one eyed old man.

We board our dog here. The team here is great. They welcome her by name with smiles which calms her anxiety. At the end of her stay she always receives a report card letting us know how she did during her time there. I appreciate they take the time to hand write a report. The staff is professional and always addresses any concerns I might have. Animal House is always clean. You can feel good leaving your “best friend “ here.

Absolutely horrible place to take your dog. Never was I able to go in the room with my dog and doctor. I was told to wait in the waiting room. They then came out and gave me updates in front of other people. There was no privacy. I had them check something on my pups ears and they told me it was a cyst and would go away on its own. Fast forward 6 months and it was still there. I took her into a different vet. They did a scrapping of the site to find out my pup has cancer. This could have been caught 6 months earlier at the animal house when I had them look at it. But they do the bare minimum there and what they do is piss poor job. I will never be going back to the animal house and I will never recommend them to friends or family

Took my dog in to get his ear checked and was told it would heal on its own, but recommended surgery for cosmetic reasons. I asked if the hematoma could be lanced and drained while it was small, but they said no. It ended up getting much worse, and while on the phone with them, they told me to bring him in so they could lance it. They then called later that day and told me he needed surgery. I used some forbidon words to express my anger and was then banned for life (as if I'd ever go back again).
