I was looking for a lotion or something for the underside of my dogs ears. His ears are rough,like dry hands kind of. I ask a clerk. He kept wanting to give me drops for dogs ears. Not what I need I told him. Ask if I could talk to someone from grooming?? You would think someone who grooms dogs would know what to use. Right? NOT! She told me since she was not a vet, she could not recommend any products for the ears. WHAT!Well turns out, on my own I found a great location for the underside of my dogs ears. The roughness was gone literally in a days time.I am not a vet, but if your dog has dry skin on the underside of it's ears. This is the product I used. And it worked in a day.I know it says nose and paw balm. But a little dab will do ya. A little goes a long way. I love it.

I like shopping at petco they always have what I'm looking for. The employees are always polite and welcoming and helpful. We have quite a few pets. I took my daughters cat in for his annual rabies vaccine, and the mobile was quick, very sweet to my cat, and made sure he was in good health before we left. The only thing I wasn't happy with was that we went to the petco where they were doing the shots, when I asked the young cashier where they were doing it, she didn't know and sent us to another petco. When we got there, they said the shot clinic was at a different petco. Each petco is about 13 miles apart. My appointment was at 4:45 pm by the time we got to the 3rd petco, it was 5:15 pm. The vet called asking if we were going to keep our appointment, and we explained what happened. It turned out we went to the right petco the first time, and the employee didn't even know they were doing it their. Long story short, all the employees need to know what's happening at their store. Other than that, I do recommend shopping at petco for your pets needs.

Great place staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly and helpful prices were great selection was good also everyone 9f the staff was super helpful and took their time to help out they special ordered us a sun conure and they kept us updated on the status even knowing we were 3 hrs away and the bird came in earlier then expected Sarah and Steven were super helpful as was everyone else

I made an appointment fir my 2 dogs to get groomed. I told them my senior dog doesn't like being kennel so they made appointment for later. When arrived Kelly told me that will be an extra $15 . I then went to supervisor he said he would take the $15 off. But Kelly said no and started being very rude. I will not be coming to this store again

I went here to buy my parakeets, twice and the staff were wonderful! They know what’s good for the pets and always warn you which is a good thing! I love it there

I have purchased lots of things here over the years, but last week my fish just got too big for a 10 gallon tank and had to surrender them. Never knew you could do that with fish. Called Petsmart first and they didn’t do this and were not very nice either. I then called Petco and they immediately explained their policy that they would take the fish, wouldn’t even sell them but rather take a contribution for animal rescues if someone took them. They got a tank already for them at the appointed time.As soon as I got there with my six little fish and a snail they were helping me out, looking in the Tupperware and taking pictures and sizing them up for who might like these guys. They put them in their tank gently and I was able to say my goodbyes. I was thrilled to have the peace of mind that they were happy and hopefully going to good home with bigger tanks and I could provide. We to go Petco for providing the service!

Bought a saltwater fish for $150. Didn't even last 6 hours and you wouldn't even do anything about it. Have spent thousands on supplies, food and saltwater fish from your store. Guess I'll be taking all my pet needs elsewhere. Very disappointed.

Repeat delivery was processed twice. Over $500 charged to be card 😡 Customer service has yet to keep their word and call me back after being put on hold multiple time and being told a supervisor would contact me and then proceeded too say they were busy and will call me back. I'm on day 3 of trying to get in contact with someone.

Petco has made big improvements in the way that petstores operate in the area! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. E mason st petco has the best selection in the area for HEALTHY critters and supplies for them. I travel 45min to go this this location because its literally the best option for me and all my pets. Ps thanks for keeping the bettas in a tank and keeping the water clean ❤

I went to Petco and made this dog tag for a friend who lost her pet recently and attached it to a memorial wind chime that I gave her for a late Christmas present. The clerk who helped me was very nice and helpful with assisting me with making the dog tag. Great Store!!!

I have taking my dachshund to Petco for years for his nail clipping with no issues. Took him today and when I checked him in I thought it was odd that the groomer said “I hope he behaves today”. I left the grooming area to pay and before I could pay the groomer came out and told the cashier not to charge me because they couldn’t trim his nails. When I asked why she said he nipped at her and I could never bring him back again. No worries I will never visit another Petco.

We took our pup Yennefer here for her first grooming appointment in mid June, and the staff members were wonderful!! Our little lady looked adorable and we could not be happier!

Made an appointment online, my daughter drove almost and hour to get to the store only for the groomer to tell her that our dog doesn't sit still (behavior), this is the first time we've been told by someone that he wasn't a "good boy" in the 4 years we've been having him groomed at places. We have anxiety medication for him for when he flies on airplanes with us and my daughter offered to give him thise, the employee said that wasn't okay. I understand he's an animal, therefore unpredictable, but it would've been better to tell us the last time he was there so we wouldn't have tried to bring him back there. Instead they let us get all the way there and then blindside us with this lousy excuse.

I love this store. The pet rewards program more than pays for itself. I have one for my reptile, fish, and small animal and use them all regularly! The tank sales themselves are well worth every penny!!

They did a good job on our shelties nails. Nice store..lots of inventory. My only gripe is charging us 10 cents for a plastic bag for our purchases.It's the principle, not the cost.

This store always smells as soon as you hit the door. When it is smells super bad I don't even go in it. Also stock is all over. The front of the store is so cluttered of clearence stuff. It is like it is better than it was but not where it should be.

Grooming personal are the best -- always cheerful and caring. They take the best care of my golden retriever and she loves seeing them. They carefully wash and groom her and at 85# and very hairy -- that is something!

Quite the price difference between Petco and Petsmart. Paid $19.99 for the same toy at Petco only find it $5 less within walking distance at Petsmart. Two major chain stores and Petco isn't giving me much incentive to stay loyal. Petsmart is definitely the nicer of the two stores. I've worked retail in the past and the team always tried to stay one step ahead of the competition. The experience could be better at Petco in comparison with its neighbor.

I shop here a lot and love the store.Unfortunately I purchased 2 tanks during the Black Friday sale, picked them up and took them home, noticed one was completely scratched up. Called and asked if I could exchange it, they said yes. I went in to exchange it, out of stock which I totally understand. Only unfortunate part is now they did a return and if I want to get that same tank I have to pay double the price.
