The woman at check in seemed bothered she had to put her cellphone down and check in customers. We rented the deluxe family room for $152 +tax. Great price if it had been clean. Our room smelled like an old damp basement is and the carpet felt damp. The room had 4 queen beds one complete with unwashed bedding that had dried cum all over it. I have pictures, but u can't upload them on here. Word of advice.... strip the bedding to make sure it is clean before staying.

Service was great and accommodating. I arrived late from another city. I received a courtesy call to check on me. My room was clean, comfortable and very affordable. I stayed in other hotels in the area which were much more expensive but not near as nice. Manager told me of all the places to eat, shop and things to see in the area. Since my stay was extended I was moved to a larger room which is more like a 1 bed room apartment minus the kitchen. I was also surprised to find out the hotel has a few extra large rooms with 4 queen beds. Great stay. I will be back to stay an extended period next week.

This place is awesome. Just what I was looking for. Peace and quiet. The room was spacious. Bathroom was a little small but so what. Loved the no carpet in my room. The fridge and microwave was a bonus. After I got checked in, I headed to the grocery store. Picked up a few things and headed back. Got most of my training done.When I was checking out my truck would not start. Wilma was wonderful. She found someone to jump my vehicle. She had a phone number handy but said they were expensive. This cute elderly man was pleased he could help me. He wouldn't take anything for it either. I was raised the same way. Help out your fellow man with no strings attached.I will definitely stay here again. Had a great stay here.Room was clean and cute.Staff was friendly and helpful. Even offered us clean towels to clean our dog's cut feet (this happened before we got to the hotel).Easy to find, convenient carwash and laundromat. Easy to get to downtown area with a good coffee shop.Bonus is the cute bulldog that helps at the counter.

We stayed here just one night. Perfectly adequate, staff were friendly and communicative, we were able to get a pet friendly room, and the hotel is set far back enough from the road that you don't get any noise. Each room has its own entry. The rooms were very clean, nice linens, small refrigerator, flat screen TV and wifi. I took off a star because the deadbolt for our room didn't work, but we felt safe enough in this little inn. It's also just a short drive into town and the grocery store. Everything you need for a short stay is super close.

2 stars, because of the price and the owner being very nice at check in. Otherwise, the mixed reviews are hard to determine if it’s worth taking the cheap route.. it’s not. The tub was extremely dirty, and when showering it felt like I was gonna well through. The room when we got in it was full of flies, by the time we got back that night all the flies had died, but still just felt uncomfortable. Obviously didn’t think it would be a holiday inn but when you have to have drinks to try and sleep it’s not worth it. If I needed to I would stay if I couldn’t afford a different hotel, but really I would try to avoid it 🤷🏻‍♀️

We stayed in the motel this last weekend and found it very nice, convenient, and clean. The young gentleman at check-in was very pleasant, and the Young lady at check-out was just as nice. Rooms were nice sized, beds were comfortable. Also on check-out chatted with the cleaning crew and they were also very pleasant. We shall return for another weekend escape

The place was ok for the price. The staff was friendly. It was clean, althow the sink drained slowly and it was not as fancy as most places are. It does has a microwave and a fridge. You had to go into the lobby for coffee, which was really good coffee. There was no continental breakfast, but there were several restaurants nearby, within a few miles.Rooms: There was no carpet but the bed was very comfortable.

I didn't have a reservation and I checked in late after 11:00 p.m. with a cat. The woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and very pleasant. She personally walked me to my room asked if everything was okay and I was able to get a good night's rest. The rooms were exceptionally clean and seemed to be recently updated. The water pressure was great everything in the room worked as it should and overall I had just a pleasant stay and definitely would recommend it if you're in the Grantsburg area.She even allowed me to check out late the next day would no hassle. They also have a laundromat and the car wash which I used and it was very reasonably priced. Kudos to the Grantsburg Inn.

Grantsburg is a very small town, and a very popular place for hunting, fishing, and low intensity hiking, it really is a beautiful place. This hotel is right in town, and it's very close to a couple of eating options. It is mostly a family run business, with only a few employees that work hard to try to accommodate you. There are a few pet rooms available and it's a non smoking hotel (and despite that, you'll always have that guy who does it, anyway). They do their best to keep the rooms clean, and provide fresh towels and toiletries. Additional appliances (like blow dryers) are available at the front and you can buy a pass to a quaint fitness center. I was treated like family when I came in, and provided a clean two bed room with a refrigerator and microwave, at a decent price. In my experience, the staff was professional and nice. My heater/ac worked and kept the room nice and toasty (I'm not good in the cold). Check in is at 3pm so they can clean the rooms. Way better than staying in a hotel in the cities and driving through town to get things done.

It was really clean. Quiet place next to the gas station and a grocery store. The guy was nice enough to let me check out late. Wifi was great and the room had its AC/ heater. I parked right in front of my room. Great inn 👌.

DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS. Worst customer service experience we have ever had. We called to inquire about our reservation and received hostility and threats from the woman at the front desk . She was immediately angry - and we were bewildered and thought it was even a joke. She continued to say we did not provide our home address for our reservation (as we booked under a third party site) and this seemed to send her into a rage. We did not see this relevant as we had already put our credit card down and we just sat in shock as she treated us so. She immediately cancelled our reservation and charged our card after we stated we did not want help anymore. Do whatever you can to avoid this place. It’s cheap but it’s not worth feeling unsafe and frankly there is not family friendly staff by any means. Please save yourself the trouble!!!!!

Nice little place! Needed to be in the area for the weekend and the Grantsburg Inn was perfect for my needs. No bells and whistles but that's ok. Room was clean and remarkably quiet. There was a lot of noise outside and I was concerned about it carrying, but I didn't hear a thing inside.

Actually, this is a pretty minimalist sort of place. Not much in the way of amenities, but very affordable and clean.And it is the only hotel/motel for 20 miles in any direction.

Rooms are clean. Overall it's a good experience, but my goodness the soap is terrible. It leaves a soapy sheen behind that can't be washed off. I recommend bringing your own soap.

Stayed 2 consecutive nights. No maid service, no one took out trash, made beds, replaced towels, replaced shampoo/conditioner. You need to go to the office to request anything for a second day. The fitness center could not be accessed at all, they had no passes, front desk attitude was "oh ,well". If you try this hotel, be prepared. On a positive, it has beds.

Had to wait for our room to be cleaned after the previous person (smoked in the room). No compensation for not being able to access our room until an hour after stated check-in time, but at least they cleaned it (rug cleaner, etc). Room still a bit smelly.Bugs were seen, nothing major but a bit annoying.Cute retro place though!

room was clean and nice. was in a quiet location. my only complaint were the beds were on the hard side. there is a gas station close by. Also a tavern down the road. overall great experience.
