Stopped today for lunch and was greatly disappointed 😞. Cute decor inside. Tables were cleaned off but STICKY. We moved to three different ones and they were all the same. Waitress was super sweet and friendly once we were finally waited on. We sat for 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. Had chicken strip basket with fries and a regular cheese burger and fires; large root beer float for beverage. Fries were yummy and my kiddo liked the chicken strips. My burger, however, was pink inside 🤢. I had them remake it and the second was the same way 🙄. Prices were very steep for what we got in my opinion. Most of the staff were busy visiting and not paying attention to the food that was up. Ours sat in the warmer for almost 10 minutes with 3 different people looking at the order and not delivering it until our waitress brought it out. I was very disappointed.

Rock n roll themed burger joint right down to the chrome fixtures, Bobby socks and the flying skirt tails of waitresses. But no rollerskates and the menu is completely modern beneath the red-white checkered wrappers of recyclable paper.They claim on their menu to use freshest meats unfrozen from local producers and I can readily believe. We ordered a cheeseburger and swiss mushroom melt sandwich that were perfectly grilled and extremely tasty. Highly commended!Service is accurate friendly with beautiful smiles all around. Fast but not snappy, they're pretty busy in the summer

The Drive-In is exactly what it presents itself to be. The staff is friendly. The decor is full 50s. And the food is tasty. We will stop again the next time we're driving by.

We had lunch and ordered burger baskets. Didn’t expect much, but Fries are fresh ❤️ and they used bakery baked buns. Service was fast and pleasant. Great place!

My hamburger was so delicious it tasted homemade. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly cooked - you could tell they were using clean oil in their fryer. We were pulling a trailer, as we just got done riding the 4-wheeler, so weren't sure where to park. The waitress let us park lengthwise in the curbside pickup spots. Oh, and you must try their root beer. It is awesome. I really appreciated the smiles we got from the waitress - she was great. Excellent service.

Nice people dressed in cute uniforms authentic of the era. Oldies themed everything: music, architecture, outfits, prices. I love this place and I wish there were still more around.

Stopped in here on a Friday evening while we were passing through. Was eager to stop because I had heard good things. We went into the restaurant and stood in line for over 15 minutes waiting to place our order. The place was busy, so I get it to an extent, but 15 minutes without even so much as an acknowledgment is pretty unreasonable.

Place was okay. Food was good but horribly over priced. Inside proves to be a better representation of the business than the outside. Employees are more focused on flirting than they are running a business. I saw 4 or 5 employees doing nothing more than sitting on equipment on their phone. High prices to pay employees foing nothing. Avoid.

They offer a gluten free bun. And my wife has had gluten and dairy allergies we tried to order food here and they refused is service because they were to busy to clean the grill because there was butter on it. They were very rude and like I said they would not serve my wife. I'll never spend another dollar in this place. I actually stopped going here for years the food was so awful and now that they wouldn't serve my wife I wouldn't let them feed my dog. Worst restaurant in grantsburg and that's saying a lot!

Good: The burger was juicy and flavorful.Bad:the "white" cheese curds were yellow and stiff. They tasted like absolutely nothing.The water also tasted awful.The prices were not worth it.

Super fast and awesome customer service. Food came right away and was perfect. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger, it's the best one I've ever had. Full of flavor and everything fresh. Definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful experience here! We decided to take a different route home from the cabin with the intention on trying The Drive In. We were not disappointed. The Frisco Burger is the best one I've ever had - juicy burger, creamy cheese, and toasted to perfection. I highly recommend the onion rings but I warn that these things may blow out the windows on your car with a sonic boom of crunch. They were unbelievable. Since this is a place of indulgence, you owe it yourself to top your meal off with malt. We had butterscotch but I would imagine all of the flavors are awesome. Do yourself a favor and head to The Drive In. Treat yo'self!

Plenty of outdoor comfortable seating in the shade. Quick service. Tasty cheese burgers. The fries were too salty for my taste, but if I had asked, I'm sure they would have replaced them. It was a good excuse for eating less.

As much as I love the Drive In, I'll probably stick to the one in Taylor's Falls. The device was not great and very inattentive. The cuts and root beer were awesome as always, but the hamburger was not quite the same. The atmosphere is very different between the two places as well. Maybe I'm just used to TF and I'm being too critical, but I'll stick with my favorite from now on.

Really good food and rootbeer / orange cream. Only reason we didn't give it five stars is my one son had a small amount of mold on his burger bun. When we told them they took the price of the meal off our bill.

Great friendly service. Buffalo burger was cooked well and wasn't too dry which happens often. The crinkle cut fries weren't overly salty (which is a common occurrence) but pretty standard otherwise. Overall, a decent place to stop.

They make their own root beer, plus, plus. Food is great for the location. As expected burger and fries, all good. However, stick with "normal" options, not all is great. Ice cream and treat options, I.e. Great floats are awesome.They have a 3 bay drive-in. Outside seating is great, waterfall, places for kids. Food and servers were quick and courteous.This place gets busy on the weekends.

I went to this place when it opened and didn't care for it. They made my wife's ice cream float first, and it sat melting away. When the food came I had also ordered a soda. It had soda all over the side so I asked the waitress if she could clean it off. She grabbed a dirty wet rag and proceeded to wipe it down. I told her that using something that disgusting was idiotic and get me a new one. If the burgers are nice sized and have a good flavor to it, I wouldn't mind paying a nit more, but for these it was way too much and didn't taste very good. Haven't been back since. They need a In and Out burger joint up here to show people what a good burger and fresh fries should taste like and at a great price. This place stinks!!!!!

Cute place with retro vibe and music. The waitress was attentive. The food was okay. Nothing overly remarkable. I got a drink that was a blend of root beer and ice cream (as opposed to a root beer float). I think the ice cream was sweeter than is my taste because the overall drink was too sweet to really enjoy. My husband got a malt and he thought the ice cream was probably soft serve which sounds possible since my drink wasn't very cold, as well. If we travel to Grantsburg again, we might give another restaurant a try for dinner. But this place is worth a stop if you enjoy a retro drive in experience.

Great burgers! Have to order the waffle fries too, friendly staff.. sit in your car and eat or on the patio. No inside dining. Awesome root beer!

The Food was Good. Service was kind of slow finding a clean table wasn't the easiest. We had to set at a large picnic table only thing kind of clean at the time. We miss the car service like Taylors Fall does. I understand that Milltown doesn't do car side there's no parking it's walk up but at Grantsburg there's no reason not to do car side.

What a fun place! It had the classic drive-in atmosphere, but boast locallly sourced ingredients. We had a great server, and the food came quickly. The burgers were juicy and the buns fresh. Yum!

AMAZING!!! We tried this place on a whim and we're not disappointed! Their homemade rootbeer has to be one of the best rootbeers we have tried. We tried the bacon cheese burger and frisco melt; both were great. We will be stopping the next time we are in town.
