Their deep fried cheese curds are excellent! All of their hot food is excellent. You can't leave here without getting fried and fresh curds, and make sure to grab a salted carmel malt on the way out!

My wife and I love coming here every now and then. They have great cheese. Recently we tried some espresso drinks and they left much to be desired. The caramel latte tasted like flavored water so it might be worth revamping how they’re made.

Oh my goodness!!! I was like a kid in a candy shop. We are traveling around the USA in our RV. I was in the laundromat and asked the owner where to get some “real Wisconsin Cheese”. She told us about Burnett’s which was over a half hour away. It was well worth the drive. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They have so many different cheeses, some I had never heard of. They have a wide selection of local wines (and moonshine), as well as other foods and gift items. We had lunch here and it was SO good. I got the Wisconsin, description in pictures. I wish I lived closer but this is well worth the trip.

What a fun place to visit! So many things to see and try here! Our group all got ice cream, which was wonderful! The cheese selection is amazing! They have tables outside to sit and enjoy and fun photo props too!

This is a must stop for any cheese lover. Huge selection of cheeses, meat snacks, and so much more. The restaurant and ice cream shop are great! It can get a bit busy at times, but it is always well worth the stop. I recommend the pepperjack beef sticks, and the golden jack cheese is one of my faves

Stopped in for the first time after seeing the signs for many years. Such a great place to have some delicious lunch, some wonderful ice cream and shop for some amazing cheeses and accoutrements. Friendly staff and tremendous value. We will for sure be back more frequently.

The Mozzarella at Cossetta Alimentary, in St. Paul, sells the Fancy brand mozzarella. I asked where the cheese is made and found out it’s from Burnett Dairy. We had to go see this place. It was a great day for adventuring. The parking lot is fantastic and large enough. The bistro and ice cream shops inside are convenient and fast.

Stopped in for a strawberry malt, has always been our favorite place to stop, but was VERY disappointed to find out it is no longer made with fresh strawberries. It's now artificially colored bright red and artificially flavored. Yuk. Done buying malts here 😐

Beautiful little dairy shop. Lots of high-end cheeses, wines, and other dairy products for sale. It is clearly locally owned and operated.Staff are super friendly. This place clearly gets a lot of travelers and tourists who are exploring the open roads.Really nice inside. Has a premium feel and atmosphere.Will be back in the future!

Such a fun spot! Great cheese, FRESH cheese curds, and soft serve.I had a yogurt twist cone with vanilla and orange creme (featured flavor). So yummy. It sort of ran out of the cone and so it ended up in a dish wish was less fun.Food at the little grab and go restaurant was a mixed bag. Cheese curds we’re delicious. Sandwich was fine.A really fun stop on the way back home from up north.

Fabulous store that has expanded significantly since its humble beginnings decades ago. High quality good, cheese and ice cream awaits. They also have wine and beer along with other food related gifts. They have soft serve ice cream and frozen yogurt. They made fresh sandwiches, and pizza.

Just a short drive on good roads across the state border (River Croix) from the MN I35N Hwy. Easy to find and you wont miss the shining steel dairy plant structures next to the Coop store.The dairy and meat products sold here are fresh, nicely packed, very neatly shelved, splendid in quality and at prices that'll make you rush for your wallet. Took home some roast beef, sausages, milk and cheeses. So delicious felt like turning around and going back for more.The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. The store is pleasantly lit roomy and a pleasure to linger in. We stayed longer to sample the frozen yoghurt cones -- which were as tasty as ice-cream and nibbled on cheese curds all the drive back home :)

My Dad was a farmer all his life and loved Burnett Dairy. He took each one of his grand children there as a right of passage. He sent a gift box of cheeses to his granddaughter and her family in California for Christmas, for over 20 years! He passed away 2 years ago and I plan to continue sending this gift to my daughter and her family.❤️

I’ve seen this place on my trips from Minnesota out to my friends house out in Webster Wisconsin. A good time later my other half picked up their scorpion cheddar cheese from a local store. Just tried it tonight. Enjoyable in small amounts. First bite I was instantly hit with “the scorpion”. Very spicy, had three thin slices and had tears running. A bit spicy for my taste, but good quality cheese!

one star because they don't sell kerosene anymore and they are too awful damn put out to tell you where do buy some with my empty jug in hand. Maybe I should just want for candy.If you are not a member in the co-op then you suck.Beer barn is overpriced.It's the retail clerks that ruin it for the hardworking polite feed & seed folks.

This is my happy place! So many different kinds of cheese, wine, snacks and great sandwiches made on site. We stopped here on my birthday to get a picnic lunch to go. Everything was wonderful. We stopped back after our picnic and had ice cream. It was a perfect birthday celebration!

If you’re in the area YOU HAVE to visit! They have tastings of cheese and wine frequently which is fun. The shakes a excellent and so fresh! As you can see from the pictures the store is full of about every type of cheese you can imagine, I felt like I could have spent an hour there looking around. I’ll be back when I’m around again. Friendly staff as well!

I really liked the little bistro restaurant. Had the grilled Sportsman sandwich with enchilada soup (pictured) which was dynamite. They also had organic soda pop (Tractor beverage Co) in funky flavors. Tried the lemongrass which was good.

I visit every few months to stock up on cheese and gift to family and friends. They used to charge $4.99 several years back, now they have raised cheese to $7.49/lb. Now I tend to stick to the discounted end peices and sale items.I 100% understand current inflation, and I will continue to visit, but my basic cheddar and Mozzarella will be bought at a traditional store again. Great sandwiches, ice cream and pizza.

What a great little store/ eatery. There is a wide variety of local food and gifts, you can find something for everyone.I had 1 scoop of "after dinner mint" and 1 scoop of "coconut explosion" hard-scoop ice-cream and it was amazing. I will go back again and again.

We have been coming here since I was 6, so like 30 years, or so. They had a little shop before, but they had Cheese Curds and Ice Cream. Our trip to the U.P. was marked by a stop to this Icon of Wisconsin. It is known by so many in the midwest. Their cheese is infamous. The best Pizza company's use there mozzarella. EPIC

Friendly service, sandwiches were okay. Got an Cubano sandwich, needed more mustard and was served on caraway rye bread which was different, in a weird way. Made it very sweet with the pickles. Ice cream and the small shopping isles are great

This place is great! They have cheese obviously, ice cream, snacks, drinks, wine, and hot food made to order, as well as gifts and such. I have not tried any food off the menu yet, but I want to one of these times I go. Generally, I just buy cheese and wine, and sometimes ice cream.

I live far, far away from this place but make sure to stop anytime I’m in the area. The cheese is great (of course) but so is the ice cream. Quite a selection of other snacks, drinks, and meats as well - mostly local which is nice. I’ve received nothing but excellent, friendly service each time, and the free coffee is an awesome perk!

Besides selling cheese, they have expanded their offerings to wine and spirits, and have a sandwich and pizza shop. Things are pretty pricey, although tasty... I generally don't expect to pay more than $24 for two people at a little sandwich shop.Also, today the server behind the counter recommended their fountain drinks, a brand called "Tractor". So, I got a cup, paid $1.99 for it and went over to try it. The drinks were syrupy sweet and undrinkable. So I returned to the counter and said I would prefer a bottled drink from the cooler.When I returned with it, I had to pay full price and got no credit for the nasty Tractor soda. I later mentioned this to a cashier and told her I was disappointed, but she only shrugged and smiled, like "Oh well, too bad." I know I will not be patronizing their sandwich shop again, although we ate there twice this week.
