I have had 2 pets have surgery at glenwood vet and both of them went wonderfully! My older dog had two ACL surgeries that went great and healed beautifully. Then I took my puppy there to be neutered and that also went very well 🙂 The staff were very nice and welcoming and they even remembered my dog after not seeing her for a couple years! I also really appreciate theirreasonable prices.

My experience with everyone at Glenwood City Vet (Dr Bob, the vet technician and everyone at the front desk) was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and I could feel that they genuinely cared for my cat, Bob. They answered all my questions and concerns that put my mind at ease. I appreciate everyone's hard work and enjoyed the easy-going atmosphere. I will always recommend Glenwood City Vet.

I would drive an hour one way to bring my english mastiff to this vet just because they workers there are so kind and helpful. they make each pet feel like they are their main client. you also cannot beat their prices!! I also love that they provided options for therapy instead of a surgery solution. I recently had to put my big boy down and they made the process a little bit easier. any future pet I get I plan on using this vet even if I move another hour away, they are that worth it!

I took my old. Heeler service dog I was almost certain she was gonna need surgery for a tumor. They didn't try to sell me on surgery I truly believe they care about. The animal, the owner and the connection more than profit.I don't think I'll ever go anywhere else

We were SO impressed with this clinic, referred here by Oakwood Hills in Eau Claire, Wis. for surgery for our Sheltie Shane. We went for the consult & they were wonderful with him during the exam and got us in that day for surgery...Dr. Vicki, Mike and later Dr. Bob...exceptional! So appreciative. We have an extremely anxious cat. Dr. Bob was so kind and gentle with him that for the first time in our cat’s life it seemed he made a friend on the first meeting! He was taken very good care of and everything was explained to us incredibly well. Excellent communication and fair prices for care. Wouldn't go here for anymore than a simple check up. For a simple neuter they quoted $300, but when the bill came it was $525. Can't imagine how much they would scam you out of on a bigger surgery.

If I could give no stars I would. Took the cat in for a surgery and the vet Ashley Jensen removed wrong organ. Took the uterus out instead of ovaries. They lied about it and changed the discharged papers to cover it up. Charged me 3 times what they said it would cost when I made the appointment and when questioned about the price told me I should have asked about the price when I brought the cat in. The vet was nowhere to be seen. No prior surgery visit to discuss what she was going to operate on, no post op stop by. Too busy drumming up cash from the surgeries mill. The front personnel lies and covers up the vet’s mistakes. Considering filing complaint with Wisconsin Veterinary Board. Save your money and find another place that will care and do their job.This place lacks internal controls and has deceptive operating procedures.

Dr. Garrison was so compassionate when it was time to put our dog down. He explained the whole procedure and was so caring and empathetic. He is truly the most compassionate vet I have ever met. I was so thankful that they were able to fit us in to an already busy schedule that day. Everyone there was so thoughtful and expressed their sympathy during our final moments with our dog.
