Older hometown diner makes you feel like a local. Huge selection of delicious homemade pies $4/slice. Friday fish fry. Roast beef with mashed potatoes and veg of the day has been their staple for over 45 years and was delicious ($10)- served each day except Tuesday & Thursday when pork roast has it's chance to shine. Neat, clean, friendly with down home food at a good price❤️

We had OJs cater our wedding with their amazing pies. Emily made the process so easy and recommended options that took our wedding desserts to the next level. People are STILL talking about our pie bar over a year later.OJs is also a great breakfast spot - homestyle and homemade. We stop every time we're in town.

OJ's is great. The fourth time that I visited and it was always good. Friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast food was good, coffee tasty and the pie fresh. I recommend OJ's and I will be back later this summer.

Despite being a small eatery, the service was absolutely wonderful! And let me tell you about the pies! Fresh, flaky, and filled with a hometown legendary goodness of flavor! I had a caramel apple slice, and it took me to pie heaven! And they have an absolutely delicious French dip! What flavor!!! Although the final bill was a tad pricey, it was well worth it because great food+great service = great experience! Go to OJ's if you want fresh food and friendly service! Great job! Keep up the good work, and thank you!

Wonderful Pie! Picture is of cookies and cream. I've also had the mint oreo and pecan. All pies are absolutely fabulous. Great burgers too, and reasonable prices! Chicken fried steak was okay.

Stop for a slice of pie, or, carry out a full pie!The best pies in the Northwoods! Do not overlook their food menu, the liver and onions are delicious! I also had the French Dip roast beef sandwich. It came with the best home made Cole slaw I have had in years! Try it out!

This place is known for their award- winning-pies, which are awesome. There is always a huge list of them, with many available to drool over in the cold case by the door.I have enjoyed their other food as well, though I have only eaten off the lunch menu since that is when I am passing through the area for work. The prices are just OK. This restaurant is in a small town and only half a step above a "hole in-the-wall/ greasy spoon" so I would expect them to be a little cheaper, but they are not.The staff seems nice enough and the place is kept clean. I heard that the original owner, OJ, just sold the place to his son, and he renamed it Midtown something or other, though the locals still refer to it as OJ's for now...I think they are only open for lunch and breakfast, so make sure to check their hours before heading out.Wheelchair accessibility: There are three stairs up to the front door. I do not know if there is a ramp anywhere in back.

I have no idea why this spot has such good reviews.I drove out with the main intent of checking out how good their pies are. While there I chose to have lunch.The cheeseburger was overcooked and dry. The fries weren’t salted at all and were rather flavorless. The coleslaw was just meh. I also ordered fried cheese curds. I ate 3-4 of them and that was more than enough . Very thick coating, over fried to the point of being just shy of burnt and cheese without any real flavor.I finished with a slice of lemon layer pie. The flavor was fine, but nothing special. The graham cracker crust didn’t really suit it and the top layer of whipped cream was too thick and I scraped most of it off.Overall service was fine and prices fair - except for the cheese curds which were truly the worst I’ve ever tried.

A diamond in the ruff!!! Where do I start? A little establishment w/ a big menu and taste. We were in Gillett for a Basketball tournament that ended in the late afternoon. After attempting a place down the road that showed open on their website, but was actually closed, we came across this gem. Don't let the older/outdated interior fool you. The menu is something I was not expecting. They have a little bit of everything for everyone! Bonus, the prices are too reasonable. Note: that is not a complaint, just me bragging on their behalf. Free refills on soda, the brands you usually only see in the fine state of WI :) And PIE, did I mention pie?!? All kinds of pies!!! Fruit pies, cream pies, monthly pie specials. Half our group order pie to go, while the other half opted to eat it then & there. Who knew a 1/4 of a pie was considered a slice?In the end, we spent $44 (that's w/ tax) for 5 people (3 adults, 2 kids) to eat a delicious, fulfilling lunch and dessert...Pie ;)
