We had another store place a tree on hold for us. Everyone at this store was very helpful. The building does not look like any other Stein’s, so it was a little difficult to recognize when driving.

I love Steins as a store, and generally have an okay experience at this store. That said...Two separate occasions I have asked for a small box to carry my mini succulents home in (they are lightweight and tip over easy, resulting in broken leaves) and twice I was told "we don't have any boxes, we can only put them in a bag."When I asked if they had boxes in the back from the merchandise they receive off the truck and unbox ...she rolled her eyes at me and said no. She was upset I interrupted her gossip session with her coworker (who didn't seem like they wanted to listen to this coworker in the first place, but didn't have a choice because they were up at the registers with her)Spoiler alert - I had to take them home in a bag and sure enough, 2 of my plants were damaged when I got home. You provide trays for customers in the summer with summer plants...why not all year round?The cashier was a younger, heavier set gal with curly hair. Very unhelpful and rude

This was my first time going to Stein's and I went to get a Christmas tree and decorations. So I was unaware how expensive all this stuff cost, luckily they had sales on all their Christmas stuff including trees and decorations. They have a nice selection and the people who work there were friendly and you won't have to go far to find someone asking you do you need help.

Amid the whole pandemic, my experience was pretty good overall. Found what I needed received good customer service the manager at the Germantown store Jimmy was a huge help. The prices are not always the best, I can usually find them cheaper at big box stores. The reason I go to Steins is because of the warranty they offer on their plants.

Our garden center of choice. Landscaped our new home entirely from Stein's nursery stock. 1yr later, only a couple dead exchanges (likely our own fault) covered and replaced under Stein's nursery stock guarantee. Everything else is beautiful and going strong.

Went to purchase an item for over $100 and the in-store price is $20 higher than online. The manager just walked by and said "We don't pricematch online, you have to pay for shipping" and walked away.Well even WITH shipping it was $5 cheaper than buying in-store so I returned it.Thankfully, later that day we went to CostCo and saw the EXACT SAME MODEL AND BRAND for $70.Our future flowers and lawn & garden items will be bought elsewhere from now on.

Shopped for herbs & vegs for planting in garden. Had 1st pick of tomatoes for this season while plentiful. Predicted would be crowded on upcoming warm weekend! Gave this 4 stars because couldn't find all herbs needed (not their fault, as early!)

Dropped my wife off 10 minutes before close while I ran to get gas. Came back to find her in the POURING rain because they kicked her out at close. They wouldn't let her stand inside to wait 2 minutes. No shelter so she was soaking wet. She goes on to tell me how they hid on an older couple returning a very large pot. They even laughed while they struggled with it trying a different door. Have spent thousands there over last few years and will never go back. This wasn't just an issue with one person either. Three staff members gathered while all of this transpired. Crazy, selfish humans everywhere but this takes the cake.

Really amazing staff! I had difficulty finding what I was looking for and there was at least half a dozen people available to help me at one time! I have a bad back and there was kids everywhere to help me with my purchases!

They have a large variety of plants but almost ALL of their plants carry fungus gnats. I bought a couple plants thinking they were harmless till they took over pretty much all of my other plants. I had to repot 32 plants with all new soil and had to wash all my pots with soap and water. What a headache, smh

bait and switch. BIG sign right next to plant saying "$7.99". Charged $12.99. Cashier comes over when I was talking to customer service, rudely "no, those are not on sale", "I just moved them away from the sign. Bunch of baloney. won't be shopping there again. Ripping off older women.

All the christmas trees are outside and there's an outside cashier so no going inside at all. Very convenient and the guy who wraps the trees was super nice!

It was pretty awful 😣. Had my small grandkids with me and my daughter. She spent $75 on plants. Halfway through her order the register "froze". Not happy!
