Captain Hooks is the best bait shop. Good prices on bait and tackle. No need to go to Cabelas. Fresh bait year around as we fish year around. Staff is great. Jennifer, Karen and even Mark on occasion.

They are always friendly and very helpful. They have every size and color of river walleye jigs. They always have a pull board to win a rod and/or reel. Also, there is usually a friendly puppy dog running around as well. It's just one of those great mom and pop tackle shops. They also have a room to rent for those wanting to stay overnight.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Sent the wrong order and refused to fix it, blamed the customer for ordering the wrong thing and saying "you didn't know what you were ordering". Refused to even offer to fix the order and said "I'm not going to lose money, you can order the new ones online." Why would anyone order again when you messed up the first order and refused to fix it? Putting the customer first doesnt exist with this business apparently, it's all about their money.

I placed a online order for $1500.00 and never received anything and no response back from anyone regarding my order. I also called about 100 times and finally got ahold of someone. Placed on hold for 45 minutes while they sold license and forgot about me on hold.Not very impressed

They literally have everything you need for fishing. Lots of local lures. Great knowledge of fish and public fishing locations. So very WI friendly.
